Description of Work: Installation of a new hot water heater. They arrived exactly at the time specified and quickly removed the old hot water heater and disposed of it. At the end of the installation, they showed me the controls and how to adjust the temperature of the water as needed. Their crew were very professional - and friendly!

Description of Work: Cleaned sewer line after sewer backed up in my lower level (garage, extra room & 1/2 bath). Had area sanitized and all contaminants removed. Used tv camera to be sure the line was clear into manhole area (on private property). Installed back flow valve so no more back-up. Again used camera to see that all was working well. Explained the process thoroughly. Good follow through to end of project. Excellent service!

We also added a bathroom to the basement. Mike did a great job, was there when he said he would be and wasted no time. He kept things moving, and cleaned up when done. I would highly recommend him.

+ -1 moreI have used Mike 3 times and have been pleased every time. He and his brother work well and quickly together and explain to me well the problems and fixes. He also advised me on a foundation leak problem that he cannot take care of. But he gave me a clearer understanding of what to do. I highly recommend these guys.
Description of Work: We had a leaky toilet turn-off valve and a leaky sink faucet. The turn-off valve was fixed in 10 seconds by tightening the packing. Wish I had known how to do it! The faucet required a rebuilding, so that justified the trip here.

+ -1 moreI had everything exposed for Bobo and his son Buba-and they were real experts.I had to work with their schedule-and when they finally could come see me they were an hour late. Do not expect punctuality...that was my only complaint. They did the job completely and double checked to make sure everything worked. In the process thay found the source of my problem and fixed it while they were there. That cost an extra $150 but well worth the price. I will use these guys again for sure!
Description of Work: I needed to have the shower valve replaced in a wrap around shower. George Morlan suggested I call Bobo the owner. Another plumbing company that I had used on many ocassions got too big and presenetd me with a ($59 cost) bid for over $1100-to replace a valve! I sent Bobo a couple pictures of the work to be done and he gave me a bid over the phone for $350.Done.

Description of Work: I manage (as a resident) the building maintenance for our small (10 unit) condominium building. In one of our units, an owner found a soft patch in the drywall which resulted from a slow lead in the grey water plumbing line from the units above. We called B&G who was very responsive in coming out the same day to cut away the damaged drywall and access the situation. After determining that the leak was local (i.e., not further up the waste line), we decided to wait a day to determine the exact location of the leak, which turned out to be a hairline crack in the plastic (ABS) pipe. B&G came out the next day and affected the repair in 30 minutes. The repair entailed replacing a section of pipe and they tested to ensure water-tightness.

+ -1 moreB and G Excavation and Plumbing was recommended to us by a salesman at George Morlan Plumbing where we bought our kitchen faucet. Mike Umemoto (the owner of the business) and his assistant (his brother) arrived on time. They were very easy to communicate with and made helpful suggestions as we needed to discuss options and make decisions about installing the new faucet in a very tight space. They worked efficiently to get the job done in a timely way. They were very agreeable to checking out and then fixing some other minor plumbing problems. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Installed new kitchen sink faucet. Installed four new flappers in the toilets. Tightened four loose toilet seats.
