"It took us a while to figure out who you were, as you are not one of our paying customers nor have you been in contact with us regarding this property until now. Typically, we communicate all of our policy changes via e-mail and gladly discuss them with our customers however they prefer. Every time we checked in with the owner of this property, they appeared satisfied with little to no constructive feedback. We are very prompt with e-mail responses, so when you state our “communication was crap” and we “raised prices without saying a word” we feel that is a stretch. Regardless, we are glad you brought these issues to our attention, as it gives us a fantastic opportunity to help educate other consumers. We do our best to try to meet the needs of our customers and, if they are dissatisfied, it is their responsibility to communicate that to us in real time so we can tailor their services to meet their needs as much as we can. If customers, or family members, take it upon themselves to prune plants and shrubs during the wrong time of the season, it makes it difficult for us to maintain. Our pruning schedules are very strategic based on flowering of specific types of plants, shrubs, and trees. Beds that have exposed clay soil are challenging to manage without an appropriate weed and moss suppressor like barkdust. Some customers do not feel as though this is a necessary expense, and as a result there will be more unwanted growth – especially if they have opted for a bi-weekly service, as more time passes between visits. As communicated in the contract each customer signs, all of our builds have a 5-year warranty. Please contact us if you’d like more information regarding this because we stand by our work. We welcome questions / concerns and much prefer it along the way rather than learn of them in an e-mail promptly requesting service cancellation, immediately followed by a very negative review. Again, we had no idea there was any discontent throughout almost 6 years of providing our services at this property."

"While we work very hard to please every customer sometimes it just doesn't work out with everyone, your property and situation was not the right fit for us. You had a garbage bin placed on the only place we could park street side without blocking mailboxes and driveways. We did not feel comfortable parking so far away from the job site with all of our equipment exposed and out of sight, because you also had large laurel hedges that lined the front of your property. We respond to every email and phone call. You were a bi-weekly customer and if you would have asked for us to make another visit, you would have had ample time to find someone who could help you, but you went from receiving our email to writing a review instead of contacting us first. In my oppinion this is an unjust review with no argument, you should have contacted us first. We are always more than happy to accommodate when needed. We will continue to work hard and provide the quality work we always provide for all of our customers."

"Thank you for the review. It's very hard to keep a lawn in good health without proper drainage and half of it was a mud bog which would make soil very acidic. We weren't able to take care of this drainage issue because we weren't qualified to do that at the time, but that is what needed to be done. It is also hard to take care of a lawn when a customer goes through it and sprays round-up all through it (spraying Poa grass). Moles and Poa (customer referred to Poa as Johnson grass) grass were a significant problem with your lawn, which existed in your lawn before we started. So, there were several elements beyond our control that would greatly diminish a potentially great looking lawn,. We appreciate the review. Thank you."
