"I have tried to find this customer on our records but was unable too. I would love to pull this ticket and share it. But need the name of the person or their car up to correlate with the date of repair. If we did in fact work was done on this vehicle at our repair facility I apologize if we did not meet or exceed your expectations."
"4-18-13 The [member name removed] brought their vehicle to us asking to check out the fallowing problems. Suspension concern, brake problem, Thinking it was time for a tune up, Right front tire not holding air In need of an oil change Interested in Amsoil OIL, and their Check engine light was on. We performed Our 96 point courtesy inspection which is a visual inspection of all major components of the vehicle. We performed the fallowing repairs. Install all new 4 tires since we found all 4 to be below DOT’s minimal recommendation for tread wear and an alignment. The Check engine light was on because of a failed EGR valve and A failed Fuel Cap which we replaced. New Spark plugs where installed as requested and it was time for them according to the maintenance schedule. Belts where worn and replaced. New Brake pads and rotors in the front installed due to runout. New wiper blades and we replaced a broke wheel lug and stud. All that for $2275.56 in our records. 6-06-2013 it was towed in with it unable to be manually shifted by hand into park. This was caused by a frayed shifter cable. These are a braided steel cable that when moved and creased enough times will fray and get stuck not allowing full movement when you want to shift it into park or down into drive. A dealer only part so a little pricy for the cable. Fairly simple to change, just a little time consuming. It was removed from the side of the transmission and it hold in bracket there, and disconnected from the shifter column on the dash. This ran just under $350.00 On 7-19-13 they returned again with a complaint of a hard shift between shifts and noise out of the transmission. We test drove the car was unable to notice a major harsh shift. We went a head and pulled the pan and inspected the filter and magnets for any metal in the pan. We then cleaned and installed the pan and filled with fluid. Nothing showed bad from the computer and we did the only thing that could be done to it to fix and prolong its life without the replacement or rebuild of the transmission. We did price out a transmission for them in case they were not happy with the way their transmission was shifting. The one we priced was a OEM direct replacement form Chrysler corporation it comes with a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty for apx $4300.00 part and labor. I thought that would be the best option for my customer. This was a different problem than before and the cable is in perfect working order. Truth: in April the car did check just fine after the repairs where done. We ask our customers to come in every 3 months for a 96 point inspection that way we can check it anything needs to be brought to their attention. I stand behind each word we spoke and we are not ashamed of any of the work performed on this vehicle. The only way to check to see how long a transmission will last is by the fluid condition, checking line pressure or by tearing it a part and measuring the clutches and clutch packs and then some. We were never paid for tearing it apart. We only checked the fluid condition, checked fluid line pressure and performed tests with the computer which test fine. That only leaves the transmission itself. Facts will always speak the truth. This car was repaired properly as you can see it was never brought in for the same thing. We will continue to stand by our word and guarantee that all work performed is warrantied for a minimal of 1 year on parts and 1 year on labor minimal."
"I tried to locate John Wilson on our data base no one by that name or that last name nor that amount of money around that date. I wish i know what this was so i could see and share it. If We did work on this vehicle we apologize that we did not meet or exceed your expectations."
"Thank you [Member name removed] for your review."
good service. However, their service usually takes a little longer then
they estimate to complete (no surprises on the bill though).
