The Owner did not keep his original appointment, he rescheduled for another day and then was 20 mins late. Additionally, he did not email the right estimate until I asked for it 3 times. The responsiveness of the return calls, scheduling, texting, or showing up on time was also extremely poor. The first day, the crew (one guy and his girlfriend) showed up 2 hours late. I had to leave for about an hour and when I came back, I found them eating lunch on my kitchen counter (AFTER only working for an hour!). I was told to get supplies from the store (but being a female with a car) that was impossible. I had trouble lifting the 200-400 lbs of tile as well as getting the other supplies (mastic, grout, bags of adhesive). I had never hired a contractor to do tile, so I had no idea that this was or was not the process-which is why I tried to get the supplies myself. The cement board was bigger than my car and I was unable to even get it off the shelf. I called them to let them know that I needed help and he sent his girlfriend up to Home Depot to help me load it into their truck. The first day he got there at 11:15 am and left by 4:30 pm. They were slow, unprofessional and to top it off.... the owner yelled at me over the phone on the second day. This was apparently due to not having all of the correct supplies or having them at my house (mind you I did have back splash and spare bathroom, but was missing master tub surround and master floor due to a shipping issue). He yelled that he was "trying to work with me" and tried to blame the issues that were present on the fact that I had tile that would be shipped Thursday. He did not communicate with me about the process and I assumed that his "crew" could work on the 2 areas that I did have supplies for. He was extremely inappropriate and I called him out on his tone, language, and yelling voice. Saying to him how it was unprofessional and irrational, he said to me that he "could talk any way he wanted to talk to me". I said "no" you can't and that he needed to realize this was a job and that he was supposed to be a professional. HE DID NONE OF THAT. To end things on an even worse note, his "crew" was able to finish the backsplash, master tub surround, and spare bath room floor. That was on Friday after skipping a day (leaving my toilets and floors busted), he asked me to pay for what they had completed. Wanting to avoid further conflict, I sent a Paypal payment. He said that he would be back early next week (Tuesday) to finish the job. Tuesday morning around 815am, the owner texted me to say he had a "sick kid and sick wife, 2 guys on a job in Norman and that he wasn't coming today." I said, please keep me posted because I am walking on a concrete floor with no toilet connected in the master bathroom. I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN! WOW is all I can say. It was the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had with a contractor. DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER. He is unprofessional, ill-prepared, has poor communication skills, no respect, and then the job was BAD! (including busted trim, pieces of tile missing, poor quotes, poor integrity, all bad, bad, bad!
