The office person told me it would be $199.00 for them to come out for one & 250-260.00 for both doors. I felt this was very expensive. I found another company who charged $85.00 & repaired both within an hour.

The service was great. They were fantastic. They did a super job, all business. They were very punctual. Everything was great. I am a hundred percent satisfied with them. There were no extra charges to the Big Deal after they came.

Difficult installation because the garage is old and not square, but the installer was really top notch. Did a great job and was very pleasant and punctual.

Trotter sent a representative (Sam Berry) to review our current setup and provide an estimate to replace our current garage door which was on its last leg. He provided a recommendation and estimate on a Liftmaster model. We had Liftmaster at our last house, so we accepted the estimate and he scheduled the installation for the next day. The installer (JD?) came out the next day on time and ready to go. He installed the new garage door opener, wall switch and internet gateway (yes - you can open it with your smartphone). He noticed the opener was louder than he expected and indicated he wanted to replace it with another unit, but would have to order it. We couldn't tell it was louder - particularly compared to the old model that was there - but we appreciated the fact that he used his judgment and was not satisfied with the operation of the unit he had installed. We used the unit for a week and then he came back out and replaced the unit with a new one. We were able to hear the difference between the two units. He tested the remotes and explained how to program them as well. I can't say enough about the integrity of the installer who could have just as easily left us with the original unit he installed and we would have been none the wiser until there was a problem at some point in the future. Overall, a great experience with a high quality install and product.

The technician (Michael) was very prompt and professional. The way he went about his job, he was obviously very experienced with repairing broken garage door springs. He had the proper tools to remove and replace the springs and safely de-compressed the unbroken spring before replacing it along with the broken spring. He was very personable and answered all my questions while he was working. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

When I told them I was and Angie's list customer, they quickly had someone come out and repair the door opener so that I could use it. We discussed options for new units, and they returned early the next morning and installed the unit I selected. The service was very prompt, professional, and friendly. We have used Trotter for other garage door work such as a broken spring, and we have always been extremely pleased with their quick and helpful service.

I called them for an estimate and they came out within 2 days, they discussed the different garage doors they sell. Their hardware is commercial grade and they were very punctual. They came out and installed the doors when they promised, very professional. I would definitely used them again.

They lined up the sensors--took two minutes. For that, I had to pay $125, which they had not disclosed in advance. Outrageous. They obviously don't care about repeat business or word of mouth. I will NEVER use these guys again, and I don't recommend that anybody else use them either.

The repair person called ahead of arriving at my home. He came within the time frame stated at the time of scheduling the appointment. He was courteous and answered all my questions. The actual repair was accomplished in about 30 minutes. I was very happy with the work that was done on my garage door.

It went extremely well. They were very professional. They came out when they permit the process confidently, they came out and were able to install the overhead door and do the programming right to get it to work so everything was lovely. I would use them again if I needed work somewhere.

They did well. Trotter is a very old, established company. They are dependable. They did a good job. With regard to price, they were comparable to everybody else. I did look at a lot of different prices; they are average. The quality is excellent. Their responsiveness and communication was very good. I didn’t have any problems; I think I would have remembered if I did. They were very punctual. When they came, it was right in the middle of the house painting. So they had to sort of trip around each other. They had told me when they were going to come. They call us. We don’t know to begin with, and then they have to call us up when they say they are coming. They did come when they said they were going to. They were very professional.

They were prompt and professional.Even though they had never installed that specific model I had puchased online they had it installed and working without any problems. Made sure the safety sensors were properly aligned and that the push button and remote worked correctly before tidying up what little mess produced. Great service but price seemed a little high for work completed or they just made it appear really easy.

Trotter Overhead Door were very quick. They were out there the next day and took care of it over my lunch break. They were able to work with me on it. They replaced the springs on the garage door in the past and I would definitely use them again in the future.

I was having trouble with my garage door opener. The double door wouldn't function properly. I called one company who came out and told me the opener needed to be replaced and gave me a hefty estimate. On a whim, I called Trotter and they quickly came out and found the opener not only was working properly, but the reason my door wouldn't lift was because the electric eye mechanism was imbalanced. They adjusted it and were finished in minutes. Even more, they didn't even charge me for the service call!

Came out and inspected 2 car garage door and single garage door then gave quote for suggested fixes before doing any work. Only negative is that they wanted to fix several things that we're not necessary to be fixed. Overall I was very pleased and they we're prompt, professional and easy to work with.
