Description of Work: My garage door was not shutting with the use of a remote unless I held the button down. I checked the safety lasers to make sure they were lined up and they appeared to be, but I was still having an issue. Trotter came out and started looking around. The technician noticed a very faint interruption to the connection and readjusted my safety lasers. Voila! It worked! The technician charged me nothing and proceeded to do a free inspection of the rest of the door. You better believe I am calling Trotter if I have significant issues with my garage door in the future.

+ -1 moreThey were prompt, diagnosed the problem and fixed it all in the same day by putting a bar across the center of the garage door to prevent it from buckling as it rose. We haven't had any trouble at all since then and would definitely call them again should we encounter any problems.
Description of Work: After the Christmas Eve blizzard, our garage door refused to go up because some of the panels had buckled from the cold. Our old garage door company had gone out of business so we called Trotter because they are close to our home in NW OKC.

+ -1 moreI noticed a cable on my garage door was badly frayed, which would have resulted in it breaking and damaging my door or the tracks. I called Trotter on Monday, the gentleman on the phone gave me an estimate, and said a technician would be out the next day between 9:00 and 11:00. On Tuesday, the technician arrived at 9:30, and was done by 10:00. Price was slightly LESS than the estimate. I would definitely use again.

+ -1 moreInitially it was difficult to get an accurate estimate via phone since the tech failed to ask pertinent questions related to the type of spring and pulley needed and the size of the garage door. But once we got through that, it was very easy to set an appointment. As luck would have it, that appointment had to be rescheduled since, as the appointment time approached, we were under a tornado warning, so the Trotter tech called to reschedule. I had my choice of reschedule times and the tech appeared on time with all of the parts he needed to repair the opener in less than 10 minutes.
