+ -1 moreI bought the pomotional house cleaning in August as a gift for a friend who had extensive back surgery in later that month. When I purchased the 'gift certificate' for the friend, I told the Queen that it wouldn't be right away that the job would need to be done -- but would be after the surgery, the rehab time & once she was home for a little while. A couple weeks after the freind was home from the rehab facility she was in following the surgery, she began trying to schedule the cleaning. She has never reached anything but a voice message. She has left numerous messages but no one has called her back yet! Since the expected cleaning was not going to be right away, I can't cancel the payment on my credit card - she was paid right away after I entered my credit card number. The "Queen" got my $59 for doing nothing and now I don't even see her name still showing here on Angie's List! Can Angie's List help me get a refund somehow????
Description of Work: NOTHING! We have attempted numerous times to reach "The Queen of Clean" to schedule the cleaning but she never answers and never returns the calls.

I received one response from the company when I initially purchased the service and that was the last time I heard from them. I made repeated attempts to contact the company via telephone and received no response.

Description of Work: During 2013, I hired Tiffany Rice for cleaning on numerous occasions. She is a friendly, upbeat person and does a great job cleaning. She is very thorough with her cleaning and I really wanted to continue to use her cleaning services. The downside - and it became a big one - is that she was very unreliable. Last year on numerous occasions we would schedule a date and time by text. It would usually begin with a morning 9am schedule then I'd receive an "I'm running late...or a family member is ill...or I'm ill....or I've had another client who has requested last minute services....or my dog....or my sister had a baby....or I need to go to the Atty office with my mom....and every single one of these was a reason for her rescheduling or being late and usually ON THE DAY of the cleaning. Because I work from home I have a flexible schedule and I'd receive a text asking if she could come @ 1:00pm after the 9:00am slot didn't work then @ 1:30 I'd receive a text that would say, "I'm on my way, I promise" then I'd receive a text 30 minutes later that it'd be closer to 2:30 or 3:00 but she swears no later than that time frame. This happened over & over & over again and I just couldn't keep up with the inconsistencies and the lack of customer service with regard to being on time or even being able to show up on the day of the scheduled cleaning much less even the week of the day of the scheduled cleaning. I've never seen or heard anything like it. I really tried to work with her as I did like her cleaning but the other issues overshadowed the positives.

+ -1 moreShe cleaned our house probably six or seven times. Each and every time, she never came on the day she said she would. There was always an excuse--her boyfriend needed a ride to work--her grandmother was in the hospital--she had to babysit for her sister--she was sick. VERY unprofessional. I've not had great luck with hiring housecleaners. It's my recommendation that anyone hiring someone always check references carefully and thoroughly, and make sure that any valuables you have in the house are documented. That applies to ANY cleaner.
Description of Work: When she showed up --which was never - ever on the day or time that she promised --she was a good cleaner.

Three appointments were scheduled, and each time, plans were cancelled at the last minute because she had a social event to attend with friends or family - even though the 'events' came after we had made an appointment. The 3rd time it happened, I felt my business wasn't very important to her and did not reschedule a 4th time. It appears from other reviews that Tiffany is very good at her job and I was disappointed that I was not able to use her. Tiffany apologized and said these last minute social activities usually don't happen but I explained that just knowing it COULD happen was enough to make me reconsider. The poor rating is only for unprofessionalism that invalidated my need for services.
