 + -1 moreVery pleased with Lawn America's service and professionalism. The Angie's List deal lead me to this company. Saved a lot of money thru the special. Company always calls before they come and leaves a detailed list of what they did plus an approximate date of next application. They always answer phone questions and the service rep is helpful. My lawn improved with their service and they even take time to blow off excess fertilizer off the driveway, sidewalk, and patio. Good company to deal with.

 + -1 moreIt's still going on right now. It's going pretty good. I first had them come out a week or so after I bought it. It's pretty good. It hasn't changed too much but I have the feeling that if you keep using them over the course of the year, it would look pretty good. They were a little bit late on their first treatment. I didn't have to purchase anything from them at this point. The last treatment that they did, I had dogs that I let out in my backyard. They didn't close my gate all the way. The dogs got out but I was able to find them.
Description of Work: I bought a "Big Deal" for LawnAmerica. It was a package deal of 11 treatments for my lawn. They come every 2-3 months and spray the yard.

Description of Work: We got off to a bad start because of a lack of communication on their part. I pd on 4/10 but they didn't come out until 10 or more days later. This was a problem because it was already past their recommended time for the first trtment. An anxious phone call from me determined that because I had pd via phone w\Angie's List instead of online that Lawn Amer. didn't receive notice of my order. However, I had called L.A. to tell them of my pmt as instructed by the A.L. cust.svc. rep. I even asked L.A. if I should mow my lawn first as it was very tall from recent rains. L.A. says "no" because the trtmnt would get to the roots better w/the grass tall. After 10days I called them and they came out right way. During the past 10 days it had rained even more so the first thing the L.A. employee said was that I shouldn't let my grass get so high!

Description of Work: I contacted lawn America direct for a quote which amounted to $1464.00. I talked to Jeremy Borror about the square footage, aerial view of the property and total of their quote. He agreed the aerial photo was old and reduced the square footage a little to reflect a shop/garage we had built 5 years ago. I asked him about the special listed in Angie's list. Using the special and ads I had seen the previous weekend, I calculated a total price of $1283.00. Jeremy said he could not match that price and said I should go thru Angie's list, so I did. The subsequent quotes I got from lawn America for the total job were $1580.0 and $1545.00, obviously higher going thru Angie's list than direct. Their loss leader special deals are misleading. I don't care to do business with them and requesting a refund of my original $310.00 payment.
