The new head unit looks like it was factory installed. That's a plus. There was one installation-related issue which they readily corrected with no hassle. The head unit solved a smart phone compatibility problem I had with the factory installed head unit. That was good. It also works better with satellite radio than the factory installed unit. The sound quality of the new head unit is only marginally better than what it replaced despite costing $1,000. Disappointing.

Roger is a great guy who goes above and beyond the job. He explained our new services and took calls even after hours to orientate us on our new features.

I called for a quote, got a fair price and they installed the unit that day in 1.5 hours. They did a professional job and were quite curteous. The final price was exactly what was quoted.

I went to Summit Sound based on the reviews an Angies List. The salesman looked at my vehicle and then proceeded to write u an estimate for $700. I thought that was more than a little high and when I said so he became rude and give me the sheet with the parts and told me that was the price. I looked up the parts online from other providers like Crtuchfield etc and found he marked up the price quite a bit. Not only that he stated that certain adapters would be needed for the antenna etc. However those parts were not needed since it was a direct hook up. I went to a different sound place and for the same parts, minus the adapters that were not needed, the price was $300 less. Shop around and get a better price and parts you only need. I just read the response by the company owner. First off he looked up the wrong invoice as he stated it was on MArch 7 and I was there on May 14, so he has that fact wrong. I did deal with crutchfield who provided free shipping and personalized cusotmer support with a live person over the phone. The owner did not go on to explain why his salesman tried to include parts adapters that were not needed for my vehicle. I stand by my original review.

The CD player hadn't worked in a while, and we finally got around to having it checked out. We received good advice about whether to repair or replace the unit. They have a very comfortable waiting area with theater seats and a huge screen to watch TV or a movie, if desired. The installer showed me how to operate the system once it was installed.

I know the owner and he is wonderful. We have recommended friends to him and he is terrific. He is knowledgeable and professional and what he commits to, he does. He does not over-sell. He tells you how to solve your problem the least expensive way.

They let me listen to different types of radios before purchasing. Very helpful in picking the right one and in my price range. After they were done they showed me how to use the system and they cleaned up very well. I have used them before and will continue to use them. I would also recommend them to others.
