Great and they cleaned up and took cardboard boxes.

Great experience from start to finish. This was the first time I had extensive work done inside my home by someone other than family and friends. They did everything they said they would do and more, and they did it when they said they would do it. The entire project was completed within the estimated time (2 - 2 1/2 weeks), even though I added things like new windows after they started. The guys are so talented in many different areas. They really did a beautiful job. I've had many positive comments and people even asked if the cabinets were new. I chose Jacobs Ladder based on reviews from Angie's List and I'm so glad I did. I highly recommend them.

Prior to Angie's list, I had asked several friends and co-workers if they could recommend a roofer for some small repairs. Almost universally the answer was along the lines of, "No, but I can tell you who *not* to call -- XYZ company sucks!" While some of the horror stories were entertaining, they didn't really help. We found Jacob's Ladder and gave him a call. He came out the next day (Saturday) to give an estimate. It turned out that the repair work was small, and he could do it right then if we were amenable. Jacob described what he would do first, got on the roof and did the work, and finished in about an hour. I know that our roof is old and will likely need full replacement in the next few years, but Jacob did not try to sell us any additional work even though the company also does the whole nine yards. He was very friendly, professional, and apparently competent because we had a huge rain storm just a few days later and no water came in. All in all, this was a great experience and I definitely recommend him and will call him again for this and other work!

I contacted Jacob's Ladder for this job based upon work done for me in the past. I received a quote within a week of when Jacob came to my house to review the scope of the project. Jacob worked with me to arrive at a project scope and price that gave me the finished product I was looking for. Upon the approval of the project proposal, Jacob ordered the materials and was able to start the project within a few weeks. The project crew (Bob and Jeff) were fantastic! They showed up on time each day and worked through the day in a very efficient manner (I really don't think they even took a lunch break!). With the grading of the yard, the finished deck was a little bit higher off the ground than expected so, without my even having to ask, they added a very nice step to the deck (at no extra cost!). The deck is exactly what I was hoping for. Once again Jacob's Ladder delivered a professionally completed project on time and on budget. I will be calling Jacob again in the future for any project I may have. I had also asked Jacob about a project to put an epoxy finish on the floor of my enclosed porch. Due to the need to grind down the existing cement finish, Jacob felt that the job would be better done by a company with the right equipment and with experience on this type of project. Jacob referred me to a company (Garage Floors Great Lakes) which ultimately did that project for me. I really appreciate that Jacob made the effort to ensure that I received the best result possible.

Jacob really has the customer service down well. He was courteous in phone conversations, and prompt with returning calls and setting up a time to give an estimate. He was always on time. Due to both of our schedules being busy, there was a 2 month gap of time before I had the work completed. He and an associate Chris arrived on scheduled day at the designated time which, I might add, was a Saturday. All indoor work was completed in a timely manner that morning. The roof/air vents had to be delayed due to product used being unavailable. These were installed the very next week. Only negative was that I was unaware that an associate was doing some of the work. (I thought it was a solo business). Jacob had many other jobs he was involved with, so had to leave shortly after work was complete. This would have been nice to know beforehand because it is an unknown person working in my house. I liked that Jacob was very honest about work and timely with estimate. He used e-mail (which I requested) and I thought the communication was better than others that only use phone contact! All in all, a good experience and work done as promised!!

Jacob was always very pleasant, returned calls promptly, and was on time. He answered all of my questions and didn't make me feel silly for asking them. He took personal responsibility for making sure everything was done to my satisfaction. His workmen cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave a mess. Jacob himself even selected items for me (ceiling fan & bathroom fixtures) and sent me photos for approval before purchasing! He definitely goes above and beyond for his customers and I was more than satisfied with everything! I will definately be using them for future projects and highly recommend them!feel

When I called I got a recording, but he called back quickly. He showed up at the appointment time. He was very nice and easy to talk with. He had a considerable amount of trouble with the door and needed to get some help from another person. They did a good job and the door now works fine. The price did go up a little because of the time involved and the second yperson, but he explained it and honestly they worked very hard. I had no problem paying the extra few dollars. I fact I will be calling them again for more work that I need done as soon as I finish this review.

Jacob performed both jobs in 1/2 day. He came about one week after giving me a written estimates. Very good service, a very nice person to deal with, no pressure, just professional service you would expect. He knew what needed to be done and we are very happy with the timeliness and cost of the job. If your looking for a garage roof this IS the one you need to check. We are very satisfied with Jacob and will use him again for future jobs.

The owner of the company came and gave us an estimate. The roofer set an appointment a couple of times but had to change them. When he was able to come, he was professional.

The price was reasonable. I really enjoyed the service they gave me. They are very professional.

I called them and they came out when they said they would. They gave me an estimate which was reasonable and I hired them to do the work. They showed up on time and performed the work according to what I wanted. I would recommend them.

Everything went great. They were on time, laid carpet protector down. and protected everything from dust. I was truly impressed with the workers and workmanship. Not only did they perform a quality job, but they cleaned up after themselves. You would not have know they were here. I expected that it would be an all day job, it was not. They took the time to show me how it worked and made sure I could do it. I highly recommend Jacob's Ladder to everyone. I will most defiantly use again them again

Jacobs installed two doors, and installed a fan in the batheroom.

They repaired a part of my chimney wall that was cracking. The workman was excellent and did a great job overall! He even came out the day after the bid, which I appreciated!

Weather played a very important factor. We hit a window of opportunity and they were here exactly when needed. His workers were never here too early nor stayed too late. work went well, and they always kept us informed of thier progress. They had to move things out of the way on our deck, and put it back where it belonged. They even had to remove my satillite dish from the roof and replace it, and believe it or not NO loss of signal. At a boy! Very enjoyable experience. Will definately contact Jacob again when needed. Maybe even to repair or replace where leaking water has ruined the ceiling.

Jacob responded to my phone call within one day, and was here to look at the job the next day. He emailed me a proposal which was very professional. He did not overcharge; his bid was fair. After I approved it, the work was done within a couple of days. He was honest about the repairs I needed. He did what was necessary to stop my roof leaks, and gave me some advice on what may need to be done later.I would hire him again for any kind of job.

I was very happy from how polite he was, to him coming on time. His prices are reasonable I was looking for a handyman that I could hire again, and I have found him.

Jacob came out and went over everything we needed done. Jacob was very knowledgable in many areas. 2 days later we received an e-mail with the estimate. The work began approx 3 weeks latter due to rain delays. The work was done very quickly. The only issue we had was a couple of flowers were broke in the process. I would use this company again. They did a great job for us.

Jacob was very responsive. He came to my house and provided a written estimate of work within a few days of my initial contact. The work was scheduled and completed within the time frame Jacob provided at the time of the quote. The crew (2 workers) was here as scheduled and worked quickly and efficiently to complete all of the tasks. They went above and beyond by offering to clean the rust stains off of the siding by my chimney that were caused by the old chase pan. Jacob checked on the work being done and made sure all of my questions were answered. The guys on the crew were very polite and professional. When everything was done, the bill Jacob sent me was less than the quoted amount. He had reduced the cost of some of the items that took less time than originally estimated. What a pleasant surprise! I would definitely ask Jacob to do work for me in the future.

I wish there were an option above "A=Excellent". Jacob's Ladder did an incredible job. They replaced two (2) doors on my back porch. Jacob picked up the doors, locksets and all materials needed and arrived fully equipped to get the job done and right on time. They had to deal with off-measurement door openings, rotten floor board and creating door trim from knotty pine - which went with the rustic look of the room. It was a very creative gig and they just went with it and made created a fabulous finished product.. The work was suberb and beyond what I expected - the guys were true artists and craftsmen and created a true masterpiece. They worked without taking a break and completed the job in one day. Please do not hesitate to call Jacob's Ladder - they are amazing! They will be back to continue work on this room as well as other projects in my home. A+++++++++++++++++++++++
