It went well. They are very trustworthy.

The only hiccup occurred when the electrician missed the call to come in and move the wiring. Over all everything looks fantastic! Jacob will be doing our kitchen remodel mid March, first of April. By the way Jacob did make it right for the delay. I would have no reservations with referring him to any one.

They picked up the cabinet for us, installed the cabinet and completed and cleaned up very promptly. They were very professional and pleasant. They really knew what they were doing. We are definitely looking forward to working with them in the future. Thanks to Angie's List for the reviews to point us to them!

I'm very happy with Jacob's work. His team his very professional and timely. I'm more than satisfied with the work. I have also had Jacob's Ladder do a complete bathroom remodel for me and I was very happy with that outcome also. Work is completed in the time frame stated and is very professional.

hey were very professional and thorough with their initial inspection and estimate. The gentleman that did the inspection and estimate found a couple of additional places (beyond what I had initially called about) that needed to be replaced, which I certainly appreciated. The 2 gentlemen who actually did the work were efficient and very neat, leaving no trace that they had been onsite doing work (other than the repaired siding). The work was well done, with all of the boards cut accurately and seams thoroughly caulked. The only thing that was less than stellar in my mind was the lack of communication between the time the estimate was provided and when the work was actually done. The only contact I had with them was in response to my email to them inquiring as to when they expected to do the work (about 1 month after the estimate) and a call the night before they did the work asking if it would be OK to do the work the following day. Though less contact than I would have preferred, it is really a pretty minor point, especially since this was a pretty small job. I would definitely use them again.

As previously stated, the estimate was very thorough and provided plenty of details on what services they were going to provide. The estimate was wrote very professionally. The amount of the services was the going rate. Estimates were as follows: Side door replacement (with option to have them paint it) = $695 Front Door (double doors) = $1995 Drywall = $475 Job was estimated to take 2-3 days.

The owner actually came out on my job. He replaced the faucet with a nicer one than I had and I he also added the little sprayer nozzle which never worked since I've lived in the house. And to top that off, he made sure my piping was good, of which it was not but it is now! :) It also came with a 1 year workmanship warranty and that was definately nice. I haven't had any problems since install.

This is a very small company. Jacob and his manager. Jacob.really knows what he is doing when it comes to roofs,, however,. His price was reasonable, and seemed very honest as to what should be done. Since this is a two man operation, be prepare to wait a little.As far as price, they were lower than their competition, but not by much. I did get a verbal estimate range over the phone, however the competition did Come out and wrote me a quote. The competition was about $50 more, and didn't do the little extra things like seal the nail heads on my roof. I would call him again if I needed my roof repaired.

Owner came out the night before to look at the problem to see if it could be fixed right then, determined it needed a new pipe so he arranged to come back the next day. Jake and Mike came out the next day and with maneuvering on their part replaced a pipe in the wall behind wall tile to repair our toilet leak. No tile was damaged. The pipe that had be replaced was cheap chrome covered copper that twisted and crumbled at the site of a wrench. Great job guys...you saved the hubby from his do list! They were fast,clean,curtious and reasonably priced

To start with, the contract Jacob wrote up for us was VERY detailed. This was a very nice detail. We were told up front that it would be at least 8-9 weeks before they could even start our job, and this was exactly the case. Throughout that waiting time period we had occasional communication with them about the start date. We were called and asked if they could start the next day, but would have delayed it if we could not have accommodated. Once they started the job they were very regular, showing up in the morning at the time we were told. They started by putting plastic flooring down on the carpeted stairs and hall and into the bedroom.. The other areas they put tarps on daily. They cleaned up after themselves daily and put their tools out of our way. Bob and Jeff did the bulk of the work, with a painter coming a couple of times as well. Bob was very knowledgeable about all the projects and gave us options and advice, but never wanted to influence us to do something we didn't want. We made sure we got everything done to our satisfaction, from the pattern of the tile work, to the grout color and the placement of the towel bar and toilet paper holders. They worked around making sure we always had one bathroom to use. We did purchase many of the items ourselves because we wanted to get the items we liked when we saw them. Otherwise, if we gave them the SKU numbers , they were able to go pick up the larger items. This entire job went smoothly until the next to last day when we realized that the vanity drawers did not clear the woodwork. But Bob said he could build an insert to match the color, which he did perfectly. You would never know it was not made that way. Overall we were extremely pleased with the workmanship and professionalism we experienced.

All work was done in a timely and professional manner. There was good communication and we are very pleased with the work and the company.

The guys were great. They had to make an original botched install by another company work and they did. I will use Jacobs Ladder for other home repairs in the future.

The owner, Jacob Lewandowski, came out and we inspected the roof/skylight together. He pointed out a number of issues. His professionalism sold me and I hired him to fix the issues. The crew he sent seemed very qualified and they took no shortcuts. The work both looks good and corrected the leak issues we were having. He also guaranteed the work for a year.

Jacob's Ladder came to give an estimate. It was a small job and they stated their price and said they could complete it in 30 minutes. The price was less than half of the other two estimates. It was done correctly and on time. The two workers were competent and friendly. I will use the company for other things around the house.

Mike and Jacob were always willing to discuss things with me whenever I called with questions. They are both very cordial and helpful and I trusted them completely. There were four workers who came to do the work, Chris, Joe, Jeremy and Garth. All of them were very professional and friendly and were on time everyday. The materials needed for the job were all picked up by them and I never had to go to the store myself. This was a blessing to me as I am extremely busy at my work and do not have a lot of time to shop. I explained what I wanted and everything they purchased was exactly what I described to them. They cleaned up very thoroughly each day when they were done working which I appreciated very much. My bathroom is beautiful and all the other work looks just as great! I will continue to use them for a ton of projects I have in the near future. The cost for all the work was quoted to me by Jacob and he was right on track. He did everything he said he would and the things I needed added as we went further into the project were very reasonable. Jacob is very honest and lets you know up front what he thinks needs to be done and if he can do it. I can not praise him and his crew enough. I have given his name to some of my friends who are looking for someone who does good work and is dependable, and I am sure they will be contacting him in the future for their projects.

Contacted prior to the job starting and very accomodating. The fence was installed at my 86 year old mother's home and it went very smoothly. Knowing Jacob and his work crew I was comfortable in having the job done while I was at work knowing if any issues presented Mike or Jacob would contact me immediately. The 2 gentlemen who did the work were kind and courteous to my mother and really did a great job with the insallation as well as clean up. When I arrived in the evening on the day of completion her yard was in wonderful shape with no debris noted anywhere. I have used Jacob several times and will continue to use his services.I was so pleased with my mother's fence I recommended him to my sister and she had a new fence installed as well. It looks great!

The workman were courteous and thoughtful. The workmanship was excellent. The scope of the project had to be expanded somewhat to replace rotted wood. The charges for the extra work and the extra materials were very reasonable. The actual costs of the project and the original estimate were nearly identical. Estimator did a good job estimating the cost of the work. We have more renovations that we would like to make. We will definitely use Jacob's Ladder for our next project and it will be a big project.

All the work has been completed. The worker's were congenial and professional. Work areas were cleaned up. For me the best part was there willingness to purchase the needed items and include all of it in one bill. I have no experience in purchases of this kind.
