It went as well as it could possibly go. He was there promptly, had it fixed so fast that it bogged the mind, and he helped with a couple other issues I had with the opener. I was (and am) floored.

I highly recommend this company! Mr. Kezel is very knowledgable, professional, and provided prompt and efficient service at a very fair price. He did not try to pressure us to replace our current, older model garage opener, which other companies have done in past visits. Instead, Mr. Kezel fixed just what needed to be repaired and our garage door opener is working perfectly again. Mr. Kezel was able to fit us in to his schedule on the same day that we called, which was greatly appreciated. The weather made working conditions difficult - extremely cold and snowy, but the repairs were made in a very timely and efficient manner. If you are looking for an honest company that does excellent work at a very fair price, then give this company a call!

Called A-1 at 10AM and he was able to come out the same day. Arrived on-time and completed all work as promised. Pricing was very reasonable and exactly what he told me over the phone. He even upgraded my springs from what I had installed., Very professional, prompt and reasonably priced. Hit all the marks.

My old (50-year-old) garage door broke a spring and cable in zero degree weather. I called; the technician (Naji) arrived that afternoon as promised, saw the job requirements which went beyond the materials in his truck, and arranged to come back the next day. The next day, he arrived as promised, did the work (freezing cold) wonderfully and completely within 90 minutes or so, and the price was a great value. Super technician, super service.

Saturday night (2/21/15), I was coming home and when I went to open my garage door, it wouldn't open. I went inside to investigate and I saw the spring was broken. The following morning, around 11AM, I called A1 to see if I could schedule an appointment. Not only were they able to squeeze me in, but they were able to come to my house, but they were able to come out the same day! I figured I would be without my garage for at least a few days, but that wasn?t the case at all. Upon arrival, they were super super polite, and had the springs replaced within 30-45 minutes. They gave me a four hour warranty on the parts and labor and took my credit card on the spot with square. I was exceedingly overjoyed with the service I received from them! As a home owner and Angie's List member, if you're reading this and you ever have an issue with your garage door, I'm telling you that you would be foolish to not go through A1. They were truly superb.

Let me star by saying that if you are reading this review to help you decide on a company to repair or install a grarge door you don't have to look any further. A1 Garage Repair is absolutely phenomenal! I placed the repair order through Angie's List deal of the day. After confirmation that the order was placed we received a phone call from A1 GarageRepair within 10 minutes to schedule for the repair time. Naji arrived exactly when he said he would. He walked me through the repair process and explained everything in detail. Naji was extremely professional and a fantastic technician. He went well beyond the typical service call. Not only did he repair the broken spring, he reinforced the garage door itself to ensure absolute durability.(No additional cost! ) We are so pleased with the entire experience. Without a doubt, when the time comes to replace the existing garage door, we will give Naji and A1 Garage Repair a call. They definitely have lifelong customers with us.

Naji came out on Thursday 1/15 gave us our options of replacing the bottom panel of our garage door or we could purchase a new garage door. He was not pushy, and very polite. He left the decision up to my husband and I did not force a new garage door on us. He came back out on Saturday replaced the bottom panel and vertical tracks. Price was excellent and he is a dog lover. He made friends with our dogs right away, even though he was here for a garage repair.

Naji came out after hours - we called, got a live person on the phone right away (other places after hours made us wait). He arrived in less than an hour, assessed the issue and fixed our door within 45 minutes! They were quick, informative, and professional. We were very concerned our jammed/bent door was going to cost us a fortune to fix, especially after hours. However, we were so happy to learn that his service was very reasonable, especially coming out during emergency hours!! We will most definitely use them again (i.e. to fix our door again and/or replace) and recommend them to our friends and family. We can't say enough nice things about them - courteous and so nice! I called Naji after seeing the Big Deal advertised for a new garage door opener. I called on Friday and he was out on Tuesday per my request. Our detached garage was built in 1948 and had never had a garage door opener. Needless to say, the project took him a lot longer than expected due to the garage's structure. Naji was extremely professional and explained everything in detail. There was no upcharge for the extra time (3 hours extra) needed to install the opener and he apologized for taking so long even though it wasn't his fault. I would definitely use A1 again! The opener works perfectly along with the remotes and keypad.

Look no further, this the company you want to use. I needed them on Sunday night after torsion spring snapped. Naji arrived in 45 minutes and performed all the spring replacement. He also checked our old wooden door, tightened screws and lubed the tracks. He is honest, prompt, courteous, and a pleasure to do business with. Use him and you won't be disappointed.

My garage wouldn't open on a Sunday morning. I called A-1 at about 12 on Sunday and he was out in about 2 hrs and have everything fixed working better than new in 2 hrs. He was punctual called when on his way and very polite. I was expecting an up charge for a Sunday service call and there was none. I will call them for any additional service needs before anyone else.

Excellent. I purchased a "deal" on Angie's list on a Thursday, indicated that I could accept an installation on weekend or the next week. Naji contacted me within in 24 hours and offered me a convenient Sunday slot. He arrived witin the window, politely explained what he would do. I left him to do the job, and he did it superbly. In fact on his own initiative he repaired (with his time and materials at no cost) my aging garage door. He tested everything, helped me set up the keypad code. Absollutely first rate service. I will be using A1 again.

I backed my car into the garage door accidentally, damaging it. I called another provider, with whom we had dealt for c. 35 years. That provider came to the house, told us the door could not be repaired and quoted a new door at $980 cash or $1100 non-cash. By cash, they meant currency; check and credit card payment would be at the $1100 rate. This provider had undergone an ownership change and the new owner "explained" that the price difference was because the credit card companies charged him for the privilege (according to his math they would charge him about 12.25% and I've never heard of a merchant paying anywhere that rate to VISA or MasterCard) and because he had a drawer full of bad checks. It didn't seem to impress him that all of my previous checks to the company had cleared without incident. Suffice it to say, I told him I would not do business with him. His field representative had left the door open and it could not be closed. I called A-1 and spoke with the owner, Naji, at about 2:45 p.m. the same day. I asked how soon they could get someone out to look at it. He asked if there was anyone home and that he could be there in 20 minutes. I told him I wasn't sure whether my wife was at home, but that someone would be there at 3:30. He said he'd be there. I pulled in my driveway at 3:28 and Naji followed at 3:30 on the button. He confirmed that the wooden door was irreparable, showed me the steel door he recommended replacing it with, quoted me the price, explained that there would be a $40 charge for disposing of the wooden door and I agreed to buy the new door. He then adjusted the damaged door so that it could be raised and lowered temporarily and promised to install the new door the following Monday morning. His guys showed up bright and early, installed the new door cleaned up, hauled away the old wooden door and left. A few days later the invoice mail came by email after a phone call from Naji to make sure I was satisfied with the door and its installation. In other words, the whole deal was done on a handshake. My experience with A-1 Garage Repair was, unequivocally, positive and I rate them as A+ in every respect.

From the initial call to the service provided, I was completely satisfied with A-1 Garage Repair. Over the past weekend, our garage door suddenly stopped working. I called Naji on Monday morning and he was out that afternoon to assess the issue. Naji was polite, honest and thorough in explaining the issue, which I appreciated having little to no knowledge of garage doors or openers myself. Naji explained how the coils/springs had broken some time ago and it was causing undo stress on our opener until it finally gave out. Naji replaced the springs and the stripped part of the opener and had us back up and running in no time. He even went of his way to show me the broken parts and explain how and why it occurred. I feel we received great value for the money spent and I will definitely recommend and use A-1 Garage Repair in the future!

Called them on a Friday night around 6:30, someone answered the phone. Called 4 other companies and had to leave messages. Which only one company called back and we told her thanks for calling back but we had someone already coming out tonight and she laughed and said something to the extent we would not have anyone tonight. A1 was out within an hour of our call, which I was not expecting to have it repaired after hours. Naji arrived on time and was very professional and fixed our problem quickly.

I called A1 Garage Repair last Saturday. A1 Garage Repair was the only provider that I could get ahold of Saturday afternoon. Maji, the person that answered, was very polite and said I could get back to him anytime. I spoke with my wife late that night, and since the cost seemed competitive, nobody else would respond, AND he said he could do our installation on Tuesday (which is when my wife is off work) we decided to go with them. So, I called him at 8:30pm Sunday night to make sure he could still do Tuesday. He answered and quickly agreed to come and do the work on Tuesday (today). So, I was at work, but my wife let me know they had arrived on time and were doing the work. Once the work was done, here is verbatim the text she sent me regarding their work: "They did a great job!!! I've never seen such polite and hard working workers. They are excellent!" What more is there to say...A1 Garage Repair did a GREAT job for us and I would highly recommend them! Update: After having our garage door installed by A1, an irritating squeak had developed. I wasn't able to get rid of it by lubricating the areas I thought needed lubrication, so I called A1. I explained the situation thinking they would just tell me where they thought I need to lubricate over the phone. However, Naji said he would be right over to take a look at it. He was here within the hour, and fixed the problem immediately (I wasn't lubricating the right area). He proceeded to lubricate every part of the door that could be lubricated. Very friendly, Very polite and Very professional. When I offered to pay him for the visit out, he refused saying that they stand behind all their work. Again, just a very impressive company and service. I recommend A1 Garage Repair most highly!

the whole experience went well. spring broke on friday evening. called a-1 saturday morning work was complete by 3 pm. naji kesel called roughly 15 minutes before arriving (as He said he would). he worked quickly and efficiently. naji lubricated the rollers and adjusted the door so it closed better. i will definitely use a-1 for future garage door repairs.

I purchased spring replacement deal on Friday evening, and Naji came out Saturday morning, replaced both springs, quickly and efficiently (1 hour). Provided additional services and inspection free of charge. Very professional and knowledgeable, excellent responsiveness and customer service. Could not ask for more! Will use again in the future.

First, they were very punctual. I was told they would be out at 9am, and were spot on. Second, the technician was very knowledgeable and efficient. It took approximately an hour for him to repair the door, which probably would have been less time if not for some of the "curious" installation techniques that the original installer employed. I will definitely be calling again to have them install a garage door opener!
