D & D had a good rep on Angie's List AND a coupon for money back so I called, and a women, who was very nice, scheduled us and explained about D & D. I was impressed with her and the estimator who came out, so we went with them to move us. They were punctual and friendly, but there were some problems: Some of the items were damaged because of sloppy packaging and some items weren't even packed! They left stuff in the garage and the basement. My nephew (26) was at the old house trying to keep track of things because I couldn't because I was sick. They told him they couldn't take my office desk apart. They also told my husband they couldn't figure out how to do it, so they moved it partially apart and partially still together. And, they didn't assemble it at the new house ~ they just left the parts in my new office. When my husband tried to put it together, he found some of the screws were stripped. They unloaded so fast my husband couldn't keep up with them. That shouldn't have happened because, on all the boxes we packed, I indicated which room boxes should go in -and- . And, ALL the boxes they packed were labeled. But, the labels were ignored and they overwhelmed us with unneeded questions!

The job went great! Three guys were sent out to help us move very heavy cabinetry and granite. The guys did a great job sizing everything up and got it all in the house undamaged. The granite and cabinets weighed a ton but the movers stuck with it and got them in the house. They were polite, puctual and professional. I would definitely use them again.

It went well. The only blemish on the performance was that dirty (grease) hand prints were left on the mattress where it was held. Otherwise all was excellent.

They did an excellent job. It was a very friendly moving crew. They got the job done as it was specified in previous discussions.

Because we had such a positive experience with D & D when my mother-in-law stored her furniture there, we decided to use them for our move. We had the Dream Team!!!!! James, Jason, Anthony, Chad, and John did a fantastic job. They were a very professional crew and VERY hard working. Their work ethic was second to none!!!! The team was also very easy to work with, and friendly. Their organizational skills really made this move easier for my husband and myself. We HIGHLY recommend D & D Moving and Storage!

It is very rare to get service, quality, and value, but that is what we got when we used D&D Movers. The two men that moved us could not have been more accommodating. If we changed our mind regarding an item their answer was " no problem". Suzanne, in the office was so kind and patient with us. Derek, the owner, was always available throughout the process to discuss all the details. I am not one to write reviews but I was so pleased with our moving experience that I had it on my " to do" list the day after the move. I highly recommend D& D Movers.

They were prompt, efficient and polite.

I contacted the provider, Derrick Supple, of D&D Moving. Mr. Supple scheduled an appointment to estimate the move's costs. He provided an estimate and indicated that he could provide some boxes. The estimate was good so we contracted with D&D Moving. After we contracted with D&D Moving, Mr. Supple indicated that the boxes would be dropped off a couple of days later. It turns out that this message was never communicated to the person designated to drop off the boxes, Mr. Supple's father. After a call, the issue was cleared up and the boxes were delivered. As the day of the move approached we were confused about whether the trucks would go to the storage unit or the house or because of two trucks to both places. We called a couple of times but the response was always a bit confused, frequently needing more information than was available to the person answering the phones. On the day of the move, we simply decided to go to the storage unit and both trucks pulled into the facility at the appointed time. Once the process started, it went quickly and smoothly. Unfortunately, I can't recall the names of all the young men that worked that day, but they were all polite and professional. While it was defined as a four person crew, with the crew chief it was in fact a five-person crew. Still, the charge was a four-person charge. The crew was responsive to our concerns, for example protecting the floors and placement of items. One item, a particle board computer desk, was unable to be completely re-assembled and the crew chief provided a rebate for the problem. Overall, the project went along smoothly and it was slightly under the estimated budget. The only hitch to this was the communication during the process. Once the move started, the service was delivered with courtesy and professionalism. We would use D&D again and we will recommend them to those who ask.

They were excellent! Not only were they on time and professional, every mover assigned to my move worked extremely hard and was very polite. They went the extra mile and then some. They removed part of the fence in my backyard to move the hot tub to my back patio and then put the fence back up. No matter how difficult items were to get in my house or backyard - they found a way to make it work. They even moved out the refrigerator that was here to put in my refrigerator - which required taking the doors off of the refrigerators to move them in and out of the kitchen. They hooked up the water line to the refrigerator, they hooked up the washer and dryer and even the tanning bed. After they were done bringing everything in and setting everything up, they asked me to go through the house and if I wanted anything moved to another place in the house that they would do it before they left. The price was very reasonable as well.

It went very well indeed. These guys were dynamos and even though they were going quickly through their paces, they did an excellent job of moving all of our treasures safely without a scratch. We are sooooo pleased with them and I also liked that Suzanne called to see if we needed anything prior to the move. I cannot say enough about the excellent service we received from D&D Moving. We are settled here in greater Columbus, miss greater Cleveland, but am glad to be here with our possessions. The four guys arrived about 8:30 am and had their two trucks fully loaded by 12:30 or so. Not sure of exact time but close. They arrived by about 3:30 after a traffic delay on I-71. They had us unloaded in about 3 hours or so.

We had a FULL house of furniture and other items. Nice, large, expensive furniture. When the movers (4 men and 2 semi trucks) came to the house to move us out they were very impressive. They covered all flooring and made every precaution possible not to harm our home in anyway. They worked extremely hard. They packaged fragile and hard to box items. They then moved all of my stuff into storage for the winter. I have a very large cream leather sectional that I was worried about. They took great care of it. It returned to me in the exact condition it left. The amount of furniture and belongings we had was impressive. All items were stored in their warehouse for the winter. The cost for storage was around 245$ per month. I thought was very resonable. To put in storage units we would have needed at least 2 so the cost would have been similar and would not have been climate controled like the warehouse. On the return end of the move D & D loaded their trucks the day before. They showed up at my house at 9:30 am (exact time quoted). They took extreme care with the new construction, again protecting all floors and doorways. Everything has since been unpacked and is accounted for and in the same condition as given to them. I have moved three times. This is my third moving company. They are outstanding. I would recommend this group to anyone. Their price was spot on. Their work ethic great, and the care they show for your belongings really means something. I hope to not move again (just built our home), but if I do I will use this company again. I cannot say that about the other 2 companies I have used.

D & D movers contacted me the day after I emailed them from Angie's List. Susan was wonderful to work with. I was not moving my whole household so she took the time to ask me for an inventory of items I'd be moving. At the end of my list Susan asked about additional items and we found there were a few that I missed! She called me back within a few hours and advised me that the load was to small for them to ship so far without a having a load coming back and I could get a better price by going with another company. Susan still provided me with the approximate weight of my load to use when I called other moving companies and told me to call her back if I had any questions and she would be happy to assist me even though I was not using them. It is refreshing to find such an honest and helpful company and definitely worth a call!!

Best moving experience I have ever had in all of my ten moves. The crew arrived on time and was very professional. Best of all no broken items disovered while unpacking my household goods/ I would highly recommend D&D Moving to anyone looking for a hastle-free move.

D&D Moving did the job fairly, well, and at a good price. They move everything with extreme care.

The movers came at the exact time they said they would, which for us was a sunday. They packed the entire day. They were professional, they were friendly, they were carful with every single item. One item did get broken and we did not know it. They came up and told us that it broke and said they would repair it or replace it. No problem. They took all our household items and furniture. they even put our car on there truck. They gave us a written quote and did not very a penny from that . They would be at our new home in South Carolina in 48 hours and they were . right on the button. they covered the floors to not scratch, they covered the banistesr to not scratch. Well, I joined Angie's List to find a mover and I was not disspointed!! D & D Movers were great!! They were so willing to help and they seemed to care about my move and my stuff!! They were very careful moving everything. NO dents or cratches anywhere! I give them an A+ for everything!!!

They arrived (2 men and one truck) on time and immediately got to work. They were very professional and courteous and took great care in the moving of our items. When we arrived at the new house there were two other men from D&D Moving to help unload the truck. We paid exactly what they quoted us. The total move took 6 hours.

I was initially nervous because, at D & D Moving, they worked on a handshake instead of a contract. I knew I was taking a large risk by handing over our entire household of goods to a moving company I had neither worked with nor heard of before, with no contract, no deposit and no charge for insurance. They came recommended by the realty company through which we purchased our new home. That and the reviews I read on Angie's List was the only basis of trust I had. I knew I could only blame myself if things went horribly wrong. I cannot say enough about the people of D & D Moving! If in this review I could give all A+ ratings, I would. First, their estimate was lower by $1,000 than two other companies. Before the day of the move, I exchanged multiple Emails and phone calls with Derrek and Suzanne. They were always patient and helpful with my questions and concerns. Dan and Luke were our movers. They showed up on time and worked like precision machines for two days. I am not exaggerating when I say both my husband and I were in total awe of them. Incredible! They were highly efficient, polite and friendly. My nerves were put at ease within minutes of meeting them. I knew we were in good hands. Besides for moving our furniture, we requested that one of the men drive our car to the new address. My husband wasn't crazy about the idea at first, but I do not drive on the expressway and am particularly afraid of driving through Columbus. So, we handed over the keys to one of our cars to Luke. My husband later told me that after seeing how Luke worked, he had no concerns. Our car and houseplants were delivered to us the evening of the same day of the move. Our furniture was unloaded the next morning. Because they had two other jobs scheduled for that day, Dan and Luke brought Damian with them to expedite the unloading. Damian was every bit as efficient, hard working, polite and friendly as the other two men. Not one item was broken, and there wasn't a single scratch made on our newly painted walls. After all this fantastic service, I was stunned when the final bill came in under estimate! In all sincerity we will recommend D & D Moving to anyone for many years to come. They made our move painless. You can trust the people at this company.

I would highly recommend them because they are fast, efficient, courteous and they do what they say they're going to do. They give an estimate and it's right on the money. Their price was excellent and they're a very well run company.

I have used them previously and I had great service. They are local to where I live. I am very much happy with their services. I believe that I packed it up myself. I am sure I can use them for packing services.

We had some damage to about 3 or four things, but they came through and fixed every one of those things. The owner came out and apologized to us and made sure everything was fixed.

They helped us pack and unpack. They handled everything beautifully. I would recommend them to anyone.

The employees who packed our possessions were prompt and pleasant to work with. Packing our 40 years of household goods took the three men about 8 hours but the process was very efficient. The following day three different employees arrived to load our possessions onto the van. Again the very personable crew arrived exactly on time. Two of the men were also the crew who drove our belongings to Florida and, with the help of an additional professional mover, unloaded our furniture. Having the same crew in both places added a sense of security to our move. The van arrived at our new home on schedule, the driver having called several times during the process to keep us apprised of their location and to reassure us that they were on schedule. They also made an additional stop, moving several pieces of our furniture a mile and a half away to deliver them to our daughter's house and helped to assemble the dresser and desk at our daughter's home. We cannot imagine our move going any more perfectly, and would highly recommend D&D Movers to anyone considering a local or a long-distance move.
