The owner did my windows since he did not have a crew. When winter came I noticed a slight draft. I replaced the windows again in 2012 and used a different company. When they took out the windows, they showed me there was not any insulation around the windows. I would think an owner of a window company would know to use insulation around windows when installing. I will never use Trinity Windows again. I used this company in April 2008 for gutters. I had to recently replace my gutters in 2011 since having water issues (separate review). I didn't realize the owner used a smaller gutter on the house than was previously on it.

As we are new to Angie's list we have just seen this review today. We are very surprised at the negative review and wish to respond as follows: We did install replacement windows in this customers home - 6 years ago. Contrary to the customer's comment, we do use window insulation, and can not imagine why her windows would not have this. We also find it odd that the customer seemed it was not appropriate somehow that the owner of the company did the installation rather than one of our crews. There are many jobs which the owner takes upon himself to install. He has over 20 years of hands on field experience and is a master of his craft. We would think that this would be more of a positive benefit to a customer than to provoke a negative response. The customer was absolutely 100% satisfied and very friendly when this window job was completed. The customer mentions that she had all of the windows replaced again by another company in 2012. After her install in 2008, THIS CUSTOMER NEVER CALLED US TO LET US KNOW THAT SHE HAD ANY CONCERNS OR ISSUES! We make certain to tell all of our customers that all of our replacement windows have a LIFETIME warranty, and to call us immediately if they have any concerns. We have an A+ rating with the BBB and pride ourselves on excellent customer service. We have been in business for 20 years, and occasionally do have customers call us with a warranty claim 10 or more years after the install. We gladly acquire any warranty items that they need from the manufacturer and in almost every case, we do the labor/service call for FREE! If this customer had decided to pick up the telephone and call us, rather than to just post a negative review on Angie's list, she would have saved herself all of the money she spent to replace her perfectly good windows. It is very unfortunate for her that she did not call us as soon as she had a concern, since we would have been able to take care of any issues at NO COST to her. We can only take care of problems when we are aware that they exist.

The owner and another man did the gutters. When they tore the old ones off the corner of the front garage area pulled away and he did not fix it; I had to mend it. The gutters seemed smaller but I did not really measure the old gutters Trinity Windows replaced. I have had water issues since the gutters were replaced. Recently, in the fall of 2011, I had the gutters replaced again but with a different company. They let me know the gutters were too small for the house. The mesh leaf guard in the gutters just created more of a mess instead of helping. The gutters I have now have made a tremendous difference. I will never use Trinity Windows again.

As we are New to Angie's list, we have just seen this review today. We are quite shocked at this review and wish to answer as follows: We actually DID NOT install gutters on this home. We did install a gutter guard in the existing gutters. Customer had us look at both her roof and the gutters initially, and was claiming damage with her insurance company due to storm. At the time of our bid, she elected not to replace either the roof or the gutters at that time - only to install a gutter guard. In addition, we wish to comment that this customer NEVER contacted us to let us know that she was having any issues. She was 100% satisfied when we left her home after completion of the job. We can not know about problems unless the customer calls us! We have an A+ rating with the BBB and pride ourselves in servicing all of our clients. We offer a lifetime warranty on almost all of our products and installation. If she had called us, we would have gladly addressed her concerns in a timely manner - at no cost to her. She mentions that she had the gutters replaced in 2011 - 3 years after we installed the gutter guard, yet, again, she never called us at all during that time period. It is a shame that this customer elected to put this review on Angie's list without even giving us the opportunity to address any concerns she had.

LOWEST OF THREE BIDS BY FAR. THIS WAS THE ONLY COMPANY THAT WOULD TELL US A PRICE WITHOUT VISITING THE SITE FIRST. VERY GOOD PRODUCT AND NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE WORKMANSHIP OR FINISHED PRODUCT. EVERYTHING WAS AS ADVERTISED.
Description of Work: REPLACED 25 WINDOWS IN 50 PLUS YEAR OLD CHURCH RENTAL PROPERTY.
