Description of Work: I have used Arco Roofing more than once so I can't remember which one this is for. I first used them in March to fix my chimney that was leaking. I had another roofing company fix the problem 4 years ago only to have it happen again. Arco has a lifetime warranty on their fix, $1,468 which was only $194 more than I paid 4 years prior with a two year warranty! I only wish I would have used them two years ago. | |The second time, in July, I had them put in an attic fan to help cool my second floor for $575. They are honest people and I would recommend and use them again.

Description of Work: We took advantage of the $99 Chimney Sweep and Inspection for our fireplace to prepare it for winter use. The guys did a great job protecting our very light carpet and the fireplace looks very clean! They took a lot of pictures and pointed out to us where we would need repairs in a couple of places. Would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: INSPECTION, CLEAN SWEEP AND VIDEO. WENT WELL BUT REPAIRS ARE NEEDED WHICH I KNEW THERE WOULD BE DUE TO NEVER BEING INSPECTED SINCE I PURCHASED THE HOME BACK IN 2006. FOR THE REPAIRS NEEDED, THE PRICE IS VERY REASONABLE.

Description of Work: They performed the Angie's List advertised chimney sweep and inspection for $99 and the inspection turned up some problems. I opted to have them addressed. These problems included sealing the chimney crown against water incursion, sealing openings in the mortar in the fire brick in the fireplace and treating and re-sweeping the flue for creosote, then sealing the flue and smoke shelf with a concrete type product called smoke-tite that guards against future chimney fires. Great work, professional service and excellent cleanup. Would recommend them.

Description of Work: The day they were supposed to come for the service, it had snowed about 4 inches, and he service the chimney because there was too much snow on the roof. They are supposed to get back to me when a day is available and the weather is good enough for them to service the chimney, I have never heard back from them.

Description of Work: The worker called before he came and was even a little early. The service I bought from Angie's List was chimney cleaning and evaluation. From my home inspection, I already knew the damper was not working. The worker fixed that for an additional $99 on top of the $99 for the original work I purchased. He was thorough with his evaluation and showed me pictures of what needed done. They are scheduled to return soon to do that work. Also, he was very neat with the job and cleaned up my hearth of any dirt from the cleaning. He also found a soft spot in my roof that will need to be taken care of. I will be getting an estimate on that when he returns for the other chimney work. I received a follow up email including the pictures within 2 days of the visit. Overall I was extremely happy with the service purchased from Angie's List and I will be using ARCO again.

Description of Work: We had our gutters cleaned/checked and also a chimney inspection. Our technician was wonderful--he identified some issues with our gutter guards which were installed incorrectly by a previous homeowner. He found the birds were able to get in under the edge as the guards did not extend far enough over the end of the gutter and was able to remove a very large amount of debris the birds had left in the gutter (nesting material). He was able to clean everything else without removing the gutter guards. He was prompt, professional and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely use them again next year.
