ARCO has been serving the greater Cincinnati & Dayton Area since 1999. All of our technicians are certified sweeps and inspectors with the CSIA. ( Chimney Safety Institute of America ) Also, ARCO is a member of the Chimney Sweeping Guild and stay up to date with all new fire codes and county regulations. Here at ARCO we take pride in being an honest, straight forward family business looking for steady work at a fair profit. Our owner, Patrick Archer, spent 4 years in the military before being honorably discharged and starting college. Patrick's last 21 years has been in the construction industry with 15 of those years owning ARCO. We also have HAAG Certified Inspectors for those customers needing a certified roof inspection for their insurance company or any storm related claim damage. We have gathered loyal people with integrity, values, & experience. Our interior & exterior construction knowledge, combined with our on the job expertise makes ARCO a company you can count on! Description of Work: Everyone we dealt with from project managers (2 related, but separate projects over the course of 2-3 months) and the owner of the company were very professional. The provided a lot of detailed information and were, obviously, very knowledgeable concerning the details of a project like ours (chimney repair for two 60+ year old chimneys including installation of liners, wood burning inserts and crown repair). As with most home projects, it took a bit longer than anticipated and cost more than budgeted (neither of which can be blamed on ARCO), but we are happy and convinced that we chose a quality contractor who will stand by their work.

Description of Work: They were supposed to come out to inspect the siding on my house and give me estimates for fixing, however I had to wait a month, then he came a week late, I never received any written inspection documents, he is yet to give me estimates after 2 months. I would never recommend Gary to anyone.

Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business. I have reviewed your case and I apologize. We should have got you an estimate within 48 hours. Since that time the office has not received any correspondence from you requesting the missing estimate, but if we had, we would of jumped on this issue and completed it immediately. It would of never gone 2 months. Gary admits forgetting to complete the estimate but also says he doesn't recall any further contact from you. Our office number is 513-360-0778 for any future customers who may experience this mistake on our end. We strive to provide the best service to each of our 3200 customers yearly and we are extremely disappointed when we fall short. You should have received that refund check by now for our failure in getting you that estimate. Please call us if you have not. If you will allow us a second chance I would send another Project Manager out, besides Gary, and provide you with a free sweep and video inspection in the process. Description of Work: my chimney was cleaned and inspected. the chimney cap was leaking and had caused a lot of damage inside and out. all of this was photographed and ultimately, I had the chimney rebuilt from the roofline up and they also applied a cement treatment to the inside of the chimney. It was completed in a timely manner, and was a great job. Looks really good!
