Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business, & thank you for the feedback in your review. I am sorry that you feel we miss treated you, & it appears we did not spend enough time explaining to you the safety and maintenance issues your Fireplace & Chimney currently have. Despite this, I am extremely disturbed by the several inaccuracies & false statements within your review of my company, which will directly affect any potential future Customers. To begin with, I had all my vehicles equipped with GPS which show the exact arrival & departure times from a Customer’s home. In your case our Certified Sweep arrived for his 3pm to 4pm appointment at your home at exactly 3pm & 23 seconds. He left your home at 4:01pm. That being said, our office schedules appointments with an hour window of arrival, such as 8am to 9am. Our technicians can have up to 5 appointments per day, & sometimes an appointment can run over. Typically, one hour is the average time to complete a sweep, inspection, and quote any other issues our technicians see. Secondly, our digital office records go back 10 years, & our company has never performed a roof tune up for you, or your home. I am not sure who you hired for that, or who completed it, but our records clearly indicate it was not us. Lastly, we did provide you with a quote for $2200, for the issues our Certified Sweep had found, which is around $2,000, not $3,000 as you have claimed in your review. These obvious safety and maintenance issues can clearly be seen in the photos we took & emailed to you. We fully understand Customers may not be happy when we find & point out safety concerns that need to be addressed & completed to bring your Fireplace & Chimney up to code, but we are obligated to let you know these issues not only for the safety of you, your family, & your home, but for our liability as well if we do not address them with you. I wish we would have spent more time discussing these issues with you that day, & obviously I wish we would have given you a call back to see if you were interested in proceeding with our estimate. We do want your business, & our standard procedure is to call customers back after their original appointment & assessment, to ensure they have received the information & photos at the email they had provided. That being said, these reviews need to be accurate to depict the overall operations and mistakes of my company. My team & I will do everything in our power to ensure Customers have a great overall experience with Arco, from start to finish. But we are unable to do so if Customers do not reach out to us, via our phone number, our company email, or your Certified Sweeps phone number. In your case, I feel the impression my technician left on you was obviously negative, & I will speak with him immediately. In any case, your review is extremely harsh when our records clearly show we did our job to the exact specifications of your Angie’s List purchase, we arrived on time, & we informed you of the problems you are facing with your Fireplace & your Chimney. To any future customers, we have 6 Chimney Sweeps who are CSIA Certified through the Chimney Safety Institute of America, & we currently have 2 more scheduled to attend the training in June. Please, if you feel that you were not treated as you should have been, or if feel uncomfortable with the Chimney Sweep we send out, kindly let the office know, & we will connect you with another Chimney Sweep on your next visit.
