ARCO - Affordable Roofing & Chimney Options

ARCO was good. The service and the quality of the service were good. The staff was good. The person who came out was very friendly, very cordial and very professional.

They were very professional, courteous and completely honest with us about what we needed to do. They were never misleading. They informed us that we have an insert in the chimney and they would need to add a liner to bring it up to code or remove the insert all together. We were not able to do this at that time, so they were not able to complete the chimney sweeping.

It seemed a bit extreme compared to the rest of the work they offered which was very punctual and easy-going.

Arco scheduled an appointment with my wife, came, looked up in the attic from the living room with a flashlight, and gave an estimate of necessary work in excess of $700. The specialist did not perform any work, i.e. sweep or clean the chimney. It seemed like a bait & switch to me.

chimney cleaned. Noted crack in porcelain setting of the fireplace and quoted me a price right away. He also told me I had a minor problem on the chimney that was an easy fix; however he did not have the part available at that time. We have to hold off on fixing the porcelain setting. He did explain the damages that could occur if the fireplace were to be used w/o fixing the porcelain, so we are opting not to use our fireplace for a while. He was very professional and appeared to know what he was talking about

They did find a crack at the top of the chimney. However, since I live in a condo I had to check with Towne Properties to see what they want to do. They are suppose to get back to me in January.

Everything went well and I was very happy with their service.

Chimney was cleaned well, although not quite as good as our last (more expensive) service two years ago from another company. Overall, we're happy with the results.

The roofers were late by three days from scheduled installation date.They also came unprepared with the proper tools to perform the replacement of damaged plywood,I had to loan them my personal saw to perform their replacement process. The entire replacement of shingles took two days to finish,minus the special vent caps that were agreed to.That took them until December 30th to install them.

They seemed to do a good job, although we had nothing to compare it to. They should consider wearing shoe covers, to keep from tracking dirt onto the carpet.

Let me paint the picture for you. The two rows of siding had bulged for some reason and the bulge protruded over the soffit molding. Two repairmen came because of the nature of the work to be done. It was a very hot Oct. day. They worked around 2 hours, sweating and dodging wasps that had taken up residency on one end of the siding. I really felt sorry for them, but they carried bug spray with them in their truck. Needless to say, the job was time time consuming for them. They also repaired the under layment of the siding. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat.

Due to bad weather the job had to be put off a couple of times, but they were finally able to do the job. I was not at home at the time, but they left a detailed list of what they did and the downspout is secured by screws. The debris from the gutters is cleaned up. Overall I am very pleased with the sevice.

Unfortunately this work took three separate visits due to the weather. Everything was done, workers were nice/professional.

didn't bring a ladder and did not do the main part of the house. Now ice is flowing over the sides of the gutters. They said they would return to finish, but never heard a word. |Office staff was nice and they came as scheduled. But not a finished job.

Cleaned and checked the fireplace and flue. Also went up on the roof to check the top of the vent. Staff seemed very knowledgeable, they gave me tips on how to check on when logs are aged and ready to be used.

Bill and Jamie, what professionals!!! I've got another large project and I'm sure I'll use ARCO. I was hesistant on using a contractor that i didn't know, so i just used ARCO for the chimney sweep special and i liked them so much i contracted the entire repair service with them. A+ for you guys, THANKS !

It went very well, they were very direct and to the point. They explained the existing problems, after cleaning my gutters, and will return to nail the siding that is loose...will hear from them when the snow is off the roof.

Excellent. He was very thorough and professional. He was friendly and concerned about my floors and took his shoes off. Very clean and courteous. Very informative too, explained things very well and showed pictures that he had taken on the top of the chimney. Absolutely would recommend him to anyone.

It was very professional. The service man arrived on time, Did a good job, didn't suggest any unnecessary charges. He was clean and neat and cleaned up afterwards. He gave us advice about the types of wood to burn. We felt great about the service!

Bill and his crew were very quick & they repaired a few extra things for me while they were on the roof. We feel confident in recommending ARCO to our friends & neighbors, and we will use them again.

Swept the chimney, did an inspection of the the outside chimney way up on the roof. Showed me photos of repairs I needed to flashing, etc. I was impressed.

They were to clean gutters and put on a gutter cover. I asked when I called if they could seal 4 right angle turns that were leaking. I was assured they would. After the work was completed, I looked up at the seams and the worker assured me that they had sealed them....on the inside. When it rained a couple of days later the seams were leaking. I called and was told that someone would come out to fix it. I'm still waiting. I closed them with silicon today.

They were really professional workers. They were prompt and cleaned up after themselves. They were very friendly and thorough and when I asked for pictures of the cracked chimney they had no problem taking them for me.

Arco made a stainless steel cao for my chimmney chase and reflashed the chimmney.They were on time and did a professinal job.

Arco cleaned and inspected the chimney and found a problem with the flashing on the chimney that was improperly installed when we had gotten a new roof. As a result of their information, we were able to get the original contractor out to fix the flashing and stop a leak that had been ongoing. They were very kind, prompt and professional.
