Beginning as a family business in the 1980's, Precision Door Service organized as an informal partnership in 1997. With aspirations of building the best garage door company in America, Precision's founders began a franchise program that would be designed for national expansion. In less than 3 years after the first franchise opening in September 1999, Precision Door Service has over 60 locations across the country. Now headquartered in beautiful Rockledge, Florida, Precision Door Service sports an innovative state of the art garage door repair certification facility. All of our technicians are trained by the best in the business and are offered continuing education opportunities to keep up-to-date with current industry trends and technology.

I apparently hired them for a service fee of $55 that I thought was free. When they wanted me to pay $142 for their parts kit that I got at Amazon for $22 I refused. They would not use my parts kit because it was a liability issue If I used their parts kit they still would not warranty the work because my door opener was made in 2000.

Precision Door Service of Columbus was wonderful. From the call to my phone to set up the day/time to the arrival and completion of the service technician, it was all a smooth transaction. Greg, the service tech, was prompt, pleasant and informational. He came in, quickly inspected the garage and pointed out one issue right off the bat with the garage. Upon completion, he explained what services he performed and showed/provided information on how the garage door should behave. He was at the house for about 35 minutes, not bad, I say.
