European Handyman

Not good! We still need our bathrooms remodeled. European Handyman received great reports from Angie's List, but we can't even get an estimate out of him. Estimated cost was $5,000.

Excellent. By using European Handyman one finds a skilled person who has taken the appropriate classes and passed the certification in his specialties before living in the USA.

He responded in a reasonable time to my message requesting a handyman, and came to my house to review what I wanted done and give me a quote. His workmanship is thorough and of high quality. He is one of the very few people who have done work on my house with which I was totally satisfied.

This was our first remodeling job. Our bathroom was very old, dated and in bad condition. European Handyman was a complete pleasure to work with. He is extremely skilled and quite detail oriented which was very pleasing. Whenever a problem arises he is quick and diligent about finding a solution and consults you 100% of the way. It was a 6 week project and never once did we mind having him around the house. He is so trustworthy that we gave him a key and left him the house when we went out of town. He is very timely, always calling if he is running a little late. He cleans up after himself every single day so the rest of our house remained clean and dust-free. He is the dream guy for the job. I always hear of horror stories with remodeling, but I have to say that my husband and I were beyond pleased with the job and the European Handyman. The bathroom is gorgeous; our friends can't believe that we didn't have a crew of men. We will absolutely use him again and again. He's a true find!

Dietmar works very fast and efficiently and cleaned up everything. He came up with a good solution for my attic windows, which had never fit right. He did a good job replacing my outside spigots and even had a part on his truck to cut and repair the end of the hose, which was leaking. He also nailed a loose board back on the garage that had occurred since I had talked to him. He is hoping to go full time as a handyman now, which will make it easier for me to have him over to do things, because he usually could only make an appointment in late afternoon after his "day job," and since I start work in late afternoon, that meant there was only about one day a week that my schedule meshed with his. Dietmar has a wide range of knowledge of how to do carpentry, repair, and other jobs. He always shows me the work and asks if it is OK before moving on to the next task.

Dietmar was wonderful. He had good attention to detail and kept me informed of his progress throughout the projects. The price for the stair repair was $350-600 cheaper than other quotes I received. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dietmar removed old exhaust fan. He then noticed that the microwave I purchased had a large dent on the side that would show. He continued to get the area prepared while I ran to a home improvement store to exchange the microwave. Unfortunately, the only other microwave like I wanted was also dented. Dietmar then made arrangements to come back after I was able to find a dent-free microwave. He did a beautiful job installing the microwave. He carted away all trash, box, and old exhaust fan. I will use him again.

I discovered late one night that my toilet was running and I could not figure out what was causing it not to shut off. We were going to be out of town in a week's time so I wanted it fixed before I left town. I called Dietmar, who had done several repairs for me before. He came over that same morning, and even though I had to leave the house to run an errand, he took a quick look at it, then went to the store to get the part. I left the door open and when I came home, he had finished and left me the invoice. I really appreciate the prompt response.

Dietmar arrived promptly and worked neatly and efficiently. He was prepared and had the proper equipment for the jobs. He cleaned the areas after the job was complete. He was friendly and polite and concerned that he was doing the job to our satisfaction.

It went very well. He did great work. He was polite , efficient, prompt and professional. I was pleased with his work overall and the bathrooms look great. I would use him again.

Deitmar was thorough, very quick and responsive. We will definitely have him back for other work in the future.

Overall, it went well. In particular, he did a good job with flooring and paneling. Was a little disappointed that he could not complete job sooner. It took two weeks longer to complete the projects than was anticipated. He is worth the wait though.

It was a bit slow from initial estimate to completion due to circumstances, but we were in no hurry. When completed, the workmanship was first rate, and the cost came in below estimate. He is a very pleasant man and takes apparent pride in doing good work.

I thought Dietmar was very efficient, fast and thorough. He worked without any breaks to get the work done. He cleaned everything up afterwards. Even though I said I could prime some of the areas myself later, he insisted on doing it. I thought the price was reasonable and when he knew he would be delayed in getting to my house, he called to let me know. The only downside is that because Dietmar does his work in the late afternoon (after his ''day job'') and I have to go to work at that same time, since I work evenings, it is harder for me to arrange an appointment for an evaluation and estimate than it would be for some people. He was able to do the work on my day off, Monday, so that worked out OK.

Mr. Senft is extremely pleasant to work with, fair, honest, and does excellent work. I'm certain we will hire him again.

Dietmar went over and beyond all expectations. He performed outstanding, neat work. He was on time, very polite, thorough, very clean and very reasonably priced. He was insistent on trying to find a solution for my broken toilet tank other than to replace it. (toilets and tanks come together with different hookups nowadays). He found a store that still sells the old parts, and fixed the tank for the portion of the price it would have cost to replace it. I was very satisfied with the work. The bathroom (floor and furniture) looked immaculate after he left! I will use his services again.

Punctual and also reliable, honest and polite. Clean everything and brought it with him. He also made sure there was no leak from the forceps after 3 days. Good follow up, too.

I was generally pleased with the responsiveness of the company to my request for an estimate. The quote for doing the work was very reasonable. I decided to postpone the work until the spring because some of it was exterior work and bad weather arrived before it could be started.

I FORGOT THE HANDYMAN'S NAME, BUT HE IS VERY POLITE ALWAYS ON TIME AND TALK ABOUT NEAT, HE CLEANS UP AS HE GOES ALONG. I'M A FUSSY PERSON AND HE TAKES CARE OF BUSINESS.
