Tri State Painting

The work crew was excellent. They completed the work in a reasonable time, replaced all the rotted window sills and even cleaned all the windows! We have a large Tudor home with several highly peaked roof areas. The work must have been of some difficulty knowing it was also difficult when we had roofing done several years ago. The crew was polite, cleaned up very well and always stayed in contact with us. I would highly recommend them and would use them again with no hesitation.

Although delayed by rain, the process went very well. They did an incredible job and even washed the all the windows as they worked! We live in a three-story large Tudor with lots of Windows so that was a real benefit. Completed the job and cleaned up very well. Our house looks beautiful!

Chris is very professional and came out to look at the home and give us options on new paint colors. Once we picked the colors at the paint store, they were ready to begin. With the rainy weather last summer, they started later than we would have liked, but that was not their fault. Once they started, they were fantastic! They washed all the windows as they painted, replaced a number of window sills and other wood features on the house. Chris kept in contact to make sure everything was going smoothly. They were efficient and cleaned up the area very well. If we ever need painters again, this is the company we would definitely use!

Second time we've used Chris and his team. They do such quality work, are very friendly and easy to work with and provide suggestions which add such value and are not things we'd think of. For example, Chris suggested adding a non-toxic insect repellent to the stain for the swing set which is doing a great job keeping all bugs away from it. Hard to spot a spider web even. Basement was finished and looks great. Chris came back to do touch ups after carpet guys scratched here and there. Worth every penny!

Everything went very well. Chris came out and gave us a quote after we called the office. He got us the quote within a week. We asked him to break out the quote for several different options, which he did. The guys did a nice job and were very professional. Thanks for a job well done.

Chris and Rob were very friendly - made suggestions and gave us future cosmetic paint tips. These gentlemen were very professional and did beautiful work!

Disappointed in the amount of work that they were able to complete in the timeframe. The condo was trimmed out and one coat was put on the trim and doors. They redid patch work that I had already done. I find it hard to believe that they didn't get more of the job completed as they are professionals. I do take responsibility to a point as I wasn't there to supervise the job which is crucial. Furthermore, I have ask for a quote to finish the job and have received NO communication. I find this less than professional and am very disappointed. Will not use them in the future.

The painters arrived on time and did a wonderful job painting two guest bedrooms. They patched nail holes in the wall and applied three coats of paint to ensure the darker color they were painting over was completely covered. They were friendly, polite and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use them again.

The experience was great! They cleaned up after themselves, covered everything with plastic, and were neat. I thought it was a good price for the work they did. I would use them again and would recommend them in the future. I was very pleased and so happy!

We had a terrific experience! The scheduling process was convenient and reliable. Our entire home was painted in one and a half days. The painters were punctual, friendly and did an excellent job painting. As our home is newly built, very little wall repair was necessary. However, the wall repair that was needed was done very well. I plan to use this company for any future painting needs and I highly recommend them to you!

He kept sending my daughter out for more paint and then I said, "Why don't you put the filler first and then the paint because we smoke here?" And I said that would take care of everything and then I went back to bed and my daughter was gone getting more paint. When I got back up again my daughter was going again for more paint and they were in the kitchen cleaning all the things and my daughter had asked them to please clean it outside and not in the kitchen and the other one was gone. It just turned out terrible and I got that spray all over the place from the hallway things that come off the wall. So I wasn't satisfied at all. They arrived on time.

Chris was able to work us into his schedule and complete the work prior to moving day. The guys were excellent and stayed on task and did a quality job. Chris even spent his time on QA/QC to make sure the job met his standards. We have more work to be done and Tri State will be the only painter we call! Dave and Kristy

Two workers arrived on time on Monday morning and did the stripping of the paper and prep work on the walls and painted the ceilings. Day 2, the owner, Chris arrived on time and began work on the walls dusting and such and applied two coats of paint to the walls in the living room, hall and stair well.

It went great! They were very respectful and punctual and explained everything as they went. I was 100% satisfied.

The job went well. We got 3 quotes for this job and Tri-State was the best price. One was a lot more and the other one was comparable for painting only (i.e. no repairs) and didn't use as high a quality paint. The quality of the repairs and painting are excellent. The crew was punctual and professional. There was good attention to detail so that it required almost no follow-up on our part for missed items. We identified a few additions to the job scope during the work where they quickly provided a reasonable quote for the additional work so that we could make a decision on direction. Chris identified an improvement to our original door surround design that improved the finished result.The only area of improvement would be in responsiveness. They were frequently slow to respond to clarifying questions on the quote and on scheduling. It took some persistence to get my questions answered. Overall, we are pleased with the result and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Chris and crew arrived ready to go and finished in one day! Very neat professional job and even performed additional painting before the day was finished.

It was great! Chris came out and gave me an estimate right away after I called and was able to set up a time to do the work that fit my schedule. All of the guys who came to the house were very professional. They were on time, were very neat, and cleaned up after themselves every day. Chris even came back himself to do something extra in the dining room- removed a phone jack and patched and painted the hole. The rooms look fantastic and I am already planning a few more things I would like them to do. I could not be happier with them!

They were outstanding: paint was perfect, cleaned up well, gave me information on future painting needs, suggestions. They were also very nice young men, not required but certainly much better than not!

Chris and his team were wonderful! I got quotes from four different companies. Not only was Chris' the most reasonably priced, he was very honest about different approaches (ex: on a neutral wall, using one coat as opposed to two) that would still achieve the look I was after while saving money. He and his team actually started the work early, asking if they could come a few days before we had set - which was perfect because I had more work to be done in the unit. On the first day, the fixed all of the holes and other imperfections in the walls. The two guys worked quickly and efficiently. The second full day - the painting day - brought three painters for the whole day. Their work was wonderful! There was one small area that they didn't realize was included in the job - but when I texted Chris about it, he himself returned first thing the next morning to finish it up. While he was there, he kindly completed a few more minor jobs that I had wanted to add to the list. His pride in his work was evident. I was thrilled with working with Chris, the price, the timeline - and most of all, the quality of work. Very impressed, with plans to be a returning customer!

Chris responded promptly to my call for an estimate to fix some cracks in our ceilings and paint several rooms. He came to the house and we talked about the project. He took a lot of notes and seemed very interested in doing the job. He promised a bid in two day. I emailed him on the day the bid was promised and he said he would get it to me the next day. I recieved nothing the following day so I contacted him one final time and specifically asked if he wanted to do the job. He said he did and I would get mt estimate shortly. I never heard from him again. I agree with another member who said "If the job wasn't something you wanted to bid, than please don't waste my time telling me a bid is on it's way. It's a shame - Chris seemed very knowledgeable and competent at our initial meeting, but no follow-up or communication to explain is unacceptable. Even if it is to say, "no thanks" - make the call or send an email!!" In the end, I used Cincinnati Drywall and they did an amazing job!

I was extremely pleased with Chris and his team from bidding until completion. Chris was very knowledgeable and prepared when walking through our home to do his bid. Tristate has the most friendly person who does scheduling and organizes the job. He provided a very detailed estimate so we could see cost breakout on a room/project basis. We had a large amount of work done one week and then a second round of work done a few weeks later. Chris was very flexible with his schedule and accomodating additional requests from us. We were in the process of preparing our home for sale and Chris worked around our schedule. They would call ahead of they finished a job early and could squeeze us in. The work performed was high quality and the crew was very friendly and professional.

Did a good and thorough job. My only complaint is that it took so long that the cost went way over what I paid for through this deal and anticipated paying in total. This was due in part to moisture causing the paint to bubble in the ceiling.

Fabulous and great work. They did an outstanding job and will hire them again to do my basement and my living room. They were very professional and good team.

Painters were on time and very polite. Did a good job.
