+ -1 moreSandra was always on time for our appointments and gave me her estimate up front. She likes to come out ahead of time so you can tell her exactly what you want her to clean. She works very hard and pays attention to the fine details. I felt very comfortable having her in my house while I was at work and trusting her with the care of my dogs (a big deal for me). I would use her again for sure!
Description of Work: Sandra did post construction cleaning for me. I had purchased a foreclosed home that was in terrible shape/very dirty. All the reno work made it even worse. She came in and made it look like a home!

+ -1 more10 hours @ $50/hour. The painters were finishing with our house when I called Sandra. She came out that evening to look at the house and estimate the work ahead of time. The painters had just finished that day. I was still getting furniture and other items back in place. There was plaster dust throughout the house. Our shower had lots of mildew, due to the lack of a fan (until that week). She adjusted her schedule so that I could get the house settled before she came to clean. She did an excellent job cleaning the plaster dust and mildew in addition to the normal household dirt, cleaning the inside of the china cabinets, dusting everything.

+ -1 moreExtremely successful! House guest stayed for a ten day visit with no allergic reactions. Our bathrooms looked like they did when they were first remodeled. Entire house was so clean, it looked like a magazine picture when Sandra was finished. She estimated 40 hours and worked for 40 hours. She was very accommodating about working us into her schedule. We had a time deadline of when our guest was coming, and she made it all happen in time. Sandra is a very thorough and quick worker. She has tremendous knowledge about cleaning products and techniques. Watching her work was amazing. She is a lean, mean, cleaning machine.
Description of Work: Deep cleaned entire house after two and a half years of remodeling. Also cleaned specifically to accommodate a house guest with severe pet allergies (we've had an indoor cat for 15 years). Cleaned inside and outside of all of our windows. Including windows with window air conditioner units in them and window that required ladders to reach. Cleaned all of our bathrooms like they've never been cleaned before. Removed a light coffee from our new carpet, vacuumed two carpeted rooms including steps with a powerful Kirby vacuum, washed our woodwork, emptied closets and washed closet floors and cleaned items from closets and replaced them. Washed laminate kitchen floor, hardwood floors in bedrooms and living room (including under furniture and beds), and VCT floor in the basement. Turned upholstered furniture upside down and swept underside of furniture including the furniture felt on the legs. Removed books from barrister bookcases and cleaned shelves, inside and outside of glass doors, each book, and replaced them. Cleaned inside A/V and storage cabinets. Washed, wiped, cleaned, and or dusted every surface in every room of the house. She even cleaned furniture with glass tops by removing glass, cleaning the furniture, cleaning both sides of the glass, and replacing the glass. Removed all under-bed storage boxes and cleaned outside and inside of boxes (including the ones with toys in them) and replaced them. She even cleaned rust stains out our stainless steel kitchen sink.

+ -1 moreWe have used Sandy in the past. She was friendly, fast, and very efficient. She cleaned the bathrooms, living room, the dining room, and the kitchen. We were satisfied. Then, after she took some time off for personal reasons, she returned to work, but had raised her rates $15 per hour without notifying us or explaining the reason for the increase. We were surprised and disappointed that she did not talk to us first. We will not be using her in the future.

We met with Sandra to propose a new idea which would require her to commit to a consistent schedule with our organization. It includes jobs above and beyond her normal services and definitely requires flexibility. I'm happy to report that it has been a FABULOUS experience! Sandra is given her "To Do" list and without a doubt, it's completed with utmost quality and timeliness! + -1 moreOverall, we were very pleased with Sandra's service. Sandra costs a bit more than some other maid services, however she takes her time and offers a better cleaning than most services. She is very friendly and very dedicated to doing an excellent job. She cleaned places I would not have expected a cleaning service to even think of (toothbrush holders, the inside of a toaster oven, window sills, baseboards etc.). The places where we agreed she would spend more time (bathrooms, master bedroom, kitchen) were left sparkling. We have 3 dogs who were placed in their kennels during her visit. She offered that she would not mind the dogs running loose during her visit. I chose to have them spend some of the time outside instead, but I felt it was a very nice offer on her part. Sandra arrived on time and spent the agreed upon amount of time cleaning our house. There were places she did not get to, however these were discussed and agreed upon during her walk through the week before she came to clean our house. As I was home the day she came to clean, we had a walk through of the house once she was done and I was very satisfied with the work she completed.
Description of Work: Sandra came to our house to perform a 'spring cleaning' of most rooms in preparation for a new baby. She cleaned all bathrooms, the master bedroom, the kitchen and the floors in depth and also cleaned the dining room, loft and family room.

She was much more expensive than her competitors but I thought she must perform miracles from all the rave reviews and I'd give it a shot. We had her do a cleaning of a new build prior to moving in. The builder's cleaning crew had done the basic clean up but I wanted the floors cleaned, bathrooms sanitized, etc. Sandy said she estimated 8 hours. I didn't understand how it'd take that long but gave it a shot. She mentioned that since the whole house was empty and brand new, she'd also wipe out the window sills. Afterwards I noticed the window sills were still dirty-contacted Sandy and she came back to finish. She said it was a big job and took her a long time. Could be me but I didn't see how a new build empty house would take so long. Other than the window sills and few misc areas that looked missed, it appeared clean when we moved in. Sandy is a lovely person and thought her personality was wonderful.
Description of Work: Needed to have a newly built home sanitized prior to moving in. Builder's cleaning crew already cleaned the house but I wanted to have it more deep cleaned & sanitized before we moved in.

+ -1 moreOverall, the quality of Sandra's work was very good. She worked alone and seems to be very conscientious about doing a thorough job. She spent about 13 hours over 2 days getting a lot of work done, and there was still more that could be done. The price was a bit high, so I can't afford this very often, but my place really needed a lot of attention. I should also say that Sandra made herself available without a large amount of lead time. It was important to me that my place be cleaned up before a specific date, and she accommodated my schedule. If you need quality work, I would highly recommend Sandra.

+ -1 moreSandra was very responsive to my initial inquiry, and was able to come to provide an estimate within one week. Once we agreed to what I wanted done, she was able to start quickly and worked 8+ hour days to do that initial deep cleaning. It took about 4-5 full days to deep clean our house which is approximately 5,000 square feet. She now maintains it every other week and focuses on an area each time to make sure it is maintained appropriately.
Description of Work: Sandra cleans for use routinely. I initially hired her to do a "spring" cleaning including washing all the kitchen cupboards, baseboards, ceiling fans, etc. Over several weeks she completed the spring cleaning, and we then hired her to maintain our home on an every other week basis. Her spring cleaning was very thorough, the house smelled very fresh and was shining. She does an outstanding job on the bathrooms. On a weekly basis she continues to provide a thorough cleaning and spends a good 7 hours on our house. I am very pleased with her service. She is also very personable and gets along well with our children and nanny.

+ -1 moreWe found dog poo and pee on the hardwood floor in our living room and scratches on the doors leading from kitchen. I called the maid and she said they found a stray dog and brought it into the house. I returned a call to them the previous night, in which her coworker was also rude when answering, and they said the alarm was going off but failed to mention the dog. Also, the cleaning was not adequate. She admited to not cleaning the appliances or the bathrooms as asked. I called the phone listed here as the work number and a woman said it was her residence and her "friend" had just left. I asked for a refund and at first said she would do a partial clean again, but afer I confronted her about the dog being hers she refused to reclean saying it would take 8 hours.
Description of Work: They agreed on short notice to do a quick move in clean. We paid cash in advance.

+ -1 moreI recently had surgery and haven't kept up with my cleaning during my recovery. I called Sandra, who agreed to come and do the cleaning within a couple of days. She did an extremely thorough job--these rooms are truly sparkling clean. It is a little pricey, but I have to say that she did a better job than any housecleaner I've ever hired. She charges by the hour. I hope to have her back to do the rest of the house in a couple of weeks. If you want to hire someone that you can trust to really clean your home, hire Sandra.
Description of Work: Sandra did a thorough cleaning of bathrooms and master bedroom, including light fixtures, woodwork, and doors. She also cleaned some hard-to-reach areas in my kitchen.
