EXCELLENT! We have had our fair share of less than stellar experiences with contractors (even well-rated on Angies), so we had a very critical eye on all aspects. Arnold and his son came out and gave an extremely thorough estimate of the work to be done. They took their time and made sure they were educating us as to what they would do for every step of the repairs. Once we agreed to do business - it took a few weeks for Arnold's crew to get time for our house (normal and understandable for this line of work). Arnold did push the start date back once - but was entirely honest and reasonable about the situation. No complaints from me in this regard. The crew arrived when Arnold said they would both days. I saw no "slacking" by the crew - they were all business and entirely professional. They cleaned up very, very, very well (even the first night knowing they would come back the next day). This has been one of my biggest complaints with past contractors - and I was delighted with this experience. They did smoke quite a bit (as do most crews) - but I did not find one cigarette butt on the ground!!! This alone is a massive positive in my experience. On to the work: Front Porch Repairs - Our front brick stoop and walkway had some mortar that needed replacing. And the top step (three total) had completely come loose and you could pick the bricks up. In addition to tuck pointing all the bad spots - they went the extra mile and added a bit of concrete inside the top step to even out and prep the area to relay the top stair. The work looks excellent and I have no complaints. On the walkthrough at the end - I did point out a few spots where I saw some cracks. Arnold was just going to patch them, but as I walked away to go back into the house - I heard him tell his son to chisel out the mortar so they could replace entirely. Another example of how they went the extra mile to ensure a quality result. Basement window wells - pretty simple repairs, they just relayed the top course of brick (more aesthetic than anything) and did some patching inside the well. Standard repairs and no complaints whatsoever. Seal gaps between concrete and house - we had some water coming in, the gaps were large enough that he decided to mortar the space. He then educated us that if any cracks formed due to movement in the cement - we could just caulk over the top ourselves, or call him and he would come out and take care of it. Concrete Patch on our back stoop - This is the crown jewel of the work done by Jeff on Arnold's crew. This was NOT an easy repair. Jeff chiseled back the rough edges and loose bits (including one whole corner) and then used rebar and concrete screws to add extra reinforcement before they placed the wood form on. He added the concrete and then hand "smoothed" it. He did his best to make it match the existing concrete. We did not have high hopes for the outcome of this repair - knowing it would be difficult and likely very ugly. However - Jeff made an amazing edge and corner on the patch and expertly blended it with the existing concrete. Additionally - Arnold was the only contractor (out of 7) to suggest using rebar and extra reinforcement to ensure the patch would last as long as possible. It is clear that Arnold and his crew do honest and expert work. I am extremely confident we made the right decision when deciding to go with him! He is also very proud of having his son out learning his business - and you can tell another generation will be doing the work the right way (instead of the lazy and cheap way)!

I was not present for the appointment and don't really know what constitutes a good or bad chimney cleaning. Having said that, they were very friendly when setting up the appointment and my wife, who was there during the work, had no concerns about their professionalism, work or anything like that. I am happy with the service provided and will use them again for chimney service and possibly other masonry work around the house as needed. They did recommend several repairs to the chimney and the price for each seemed very reasonable.

We had an outstanding experience, in two respects. First, Arnold was exceptionally knowledgeable and transparent, so much so that he anticipated and answered questions for us that we had not even thought to ask but realized in retrospect we should have. Then, when the day came to do the job, he and his crew showed up on time and were very professional throughout the process, and clearly knew what they were doing. So don't be misled by Arnold's pony tail and somewhat motley crew; you will be in very good hands. However, professionalism is not hard to find for anyone doing their homework on Angie's List, so it was the second aspect of our experience that really stood out: namely, the estimate Arnold gave us for the job up front was $1000, but our final bill ended up being only $775. He joked at the time about having something of an ethical crisis trying to justify charging us the full amount, but he said that in the end he just couldn't do it (even though we would never have known the difference). I don't know whether it was because Arnold's son was part of his crew and so he was trying to model what being a good businessman is all about, and/or because he is simply an honest man, but in all our years of hiring contractors to work on our old house I can't remember a time when the final bill came in well BELOW the estimate. So in this case the name of the company, "Integrity" Masonry, is not just an advertising gimmick or cheap talk, but really does say something about its owner.

Arnold was quick to respond when we initially contacted him and provided a detailed estimate of the work to be completed. During our conversations, he was always very professional and friendly, and answered any questions we had. Arnold and his crew arrived within the estimated time frame and returned as promised to complete a few items the following week. All items on the estimate were completed in full and to our satisfaction. His crew did a fantastic job, as areas tuck pointed are seamless with the rest of the home. The color matching is impressive!!

Arnold promptly returned my call, and came out a few days later for an estimate. He was very easy to talk and work with, giving me a quote and timeline to complete the job (Couple weeks out, as this is a busy season) he called a couple days later, one customer postponed chimney work due to the inclement rain forecasted, he could do my brick job next day! Arnold and Bill both knew their work, did a great job, and went a extra mile cleaning up the flower bed and spreading mulch, a pleasant surprise! Not only did it make their job look better, I didn't have to do a thing after it was finished. The clean up job was excellent and all the mess hauled away.

Arnold and his team did a great job repairing and rebuilding my old and deteriorating chimneys. They deep raked the existing joints, filled them with new mortar, and struck the joints to match my existing brick joints. The second chimney was rebuilt from the roof up and looks great. They completed the work quickly in about three days, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. I asked to climb up on the scaffolding to see how the work was progressing, and they were able to explain their work and findings accurately. The price was a bit high, but certainly worth the quality I was after. I certainly would use this team again.

They came out to my home, thoroughly cleaned and inspected my chimney. They were very very professional, courteous, clean and offered alternatives on ways we could use our chimney until we could get it fixed. I am definitely going to use these guys for the repairs needed and for a few other areas my home.

Mr. Pack and his crew provided excellent service in all areas, clearly demonstrating the breadth and depth of experience on the crew. Their teamwork was exceptional. Their consideration of my house and property began when they arrived and never ceased. Cleanup was continuous--pretty amazing for an outdoor project!

Great work by Arnold and his team at Integrity Masonry! Arnold first came out to the house prior to the purchase of our home to provide a quote. After we closed on the house, he returned to conduct the work. It was done promptly and since it took a couple days for the work to be completed, Arnold was in constant communication about the progress. While working above the roofline, some of the bricks simply deteriorated and he re-built a part of the chimney without charging us above the quote. And then, after the work was done, Arnold came and laid mulch in the flower bed around the chimney. Really great guys!

It was fine. He showed things that need to be corrected. He told that chimney should a cap on it and we will have that done. When we moved the fireplace was sealed up and it need repair so I will get another quote on this problem.Integrity Masonry was on time as they said they will be.

Appeared thorough. We were generally pleased with the work and contracted with them for repairs to chimney. Our only complaint was their cleanup of our wood floor was incomplete.

The company arrived on time and was very efficient in getting the cleaning and inspection completed of the fireplace. The gentleman were very professional and they protected the floor around the fireplace as to not make a mess. They provided a written paper of the inspection as well as recommendations and prices for future services. I would highly recommend!

They were early, introduced themselves, explained fully what they had done and gave a full report of issues. They worked very quickly and very cleanly. I plan to work with them in the future to make repairs.

This is the second project we have used Integrity Masonry for this year.Upon completion of building a brick knee wall this Spring, I asked Arnold to look at our back patio where ceramic tile had fallen off the side. He took one of the tile to ensure a match and called. the next week with an estimate. Arnold explained the tile were no longer in stock and would have to be ordered and shipped (which accounted for the majority of the estimate). We agreed to the price and the crew came out the following week as scheduled to replace eleven tile in danger of falling off. Because the tile were installed vertically, the crew took care in supporting the tile to ensure they stayed in place and they returned the next day to grout the joints. My experience with Integrity Masonry has been very positive- if you're looking for quality work at a fair price-this is the company.
