GT Painting

We couldn't be happier with the job that Greg and his crew did. For $400 they touched up the front of the house and the garage, making a vast improvement to our curb appeal. They actually did more than they we paid for. I will be recommending him to my friends and family.

He is very meticulous. He covers everything to avoid any spillage or dropping. He prepared everything before painting. It is a beautiful job and I am very pleased. I plan to have him back very soon for some other projects of mine.

I cannot truly express how pleased we were with Greg and his workers. Not only punctual, but called to let us know he was on his way. Throughout the two-day process, they cleaned up after themselves throughout the day...Greg kept constant check on the workers and didn't hesitate to correct if he felt something was not being done properly. He is a perfectionist and a true professional. I have already decided to have some other rooms painted in the Spring and will definitely call him. He is a young man with "old school" ways: A man of his word, respectful, and takes pride in his work--which is, unfortunately, rare these days.

He did a fabulous job; he was meticulous about every detail. Workspace was left immaculate!

Greg and his crew came on time and power washed the house and windows. They were neat and clean and did not disturb the flower beds. Then, two days later, the crew returned to scrape, putty, prime and paint the windows, sills, posts, trim, railings, and steps. They replaced a broken window that had been on the house for over 25 years! They were precise and neat. Very professional. This is the second painting job for Greg and his crew. Excellent work. Fair price!

He did an excellant job, was quiet, cleaned up, did perfect. Didnt see anything messed up he did a really good job and I'd recommend him again.

This was a great experience. Greg and his crew were punctual, professional, neat, and courteous. They started the job when Greg said they would, and finished on time. They also dealt with adverse conditions, including heat, swarms of bees (really), medical emergencies (unrelated to the work) and what probably felt like constant questions and requests from me, all without complaining or delay. And most important, they did a great job for a very competitive price. We have already asked Greg to come back and give us a quote for work on the interior of our home, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

He estimated 5 days, and is going to be done in 4. He is currently doing the work. We are really impressed. They double check everything. If he is unsure of things, he will contact us. He double checked all the colors. At first he said that he wanted 50% up front, but later changed it to a third. I asked him to re cover the cabinets. The first thing did was tarp everything. I couldn't have asked for better service. I really enjoyed that he didn't try to upsell me.

This was a fantastic experience. We had never hired professional painters before, always doing the work ourselves. Greg was originally scheduled for a mid August job, and called when he had a cancellation. In two and a half days his crew prepped, painted and cleaned up, including moving the furniture back into place. He used the low voc Sherwin Williams paints that my allergies require and worked quietly and efficiently. It looks beautiful. I will definitely hire Greg and his painters for future work at the house.

Provider immediately told me that my coupon for two rooms would not cover the cost of the one small ish bathroom I wanted him to paint. The gave me a new higher price for the bathroom and I agreed to it. He did a nice enough job though he tried to leave with obvious paint sample swatches still visible under what he painted. He did come back in and fixed it when I asked him too. He stated that he never wanted to do an angies list coupon again. Not a very pleasant experience.

GT Painting is very much unlike the others. In the past when I have had my house painted, I went with the big name painting companies and was very unhappy and disappointed with the results. With many of the more commercial businesses, you will see the contractor onsite for a few hours at most. Most of your time is spent with the subcontractor and the crew. I must admit the job is done quickly but there is a reason for that ... spray. The paint is sprayed on so fast and so light and many times you have to contend with over-spray on landscaping and roof shingles. GT Painting is old school and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I have a house that required a great deal of scraping and Gregory and his crew took the time to meticulously scraped and primed my entire house. Paint is applied by roller and by brush. No paint spraying. Gregory and his crew were polite, punctual, hard-working and skilled professionals. Every night the clean up was so well done, you would have never known that they were there. After the exterior painting was competed, I immediately hired GT Painting to scrap/repair and paint the ceiling of my kitchen. The results were fantastic. I highly recommend GT Painting. You will not be sorry you did.

The contractor was rude and complained about the coupon that he was providing from Angie's list. he was not willing to come out to look at job and said he was booked until middle of July.

I wish I had found Greg Thomas twenty years ago when we moved into our home. His work is amazing. He is a perfectionist who saw and fixed issues in the ceiling surfaces before he painted. Greg is great at knowing exactly how long a job will take and his time estimate matched reality. He left the spaces where he worked cleaner than he found them. His prices are very reasonable and we are already in discussion regarding other painting projects.

Greg met me at my house when he said he would. Gave me an estimate and we made a deal that day. He said he would be available in one to two weeks. He contacted me to let me know when he would start. He washed my house. Scraped the loose paint, primed and put two coats on the house. He did a good job, was a pleasure to work with and I have already referred him to a friend. He is on the job and the customers satisfaction is very important to Greg. I will definitely use him in the future and you should too!

Greg and his helper arrived on time and was prepared to start the project in short order. They did a very good and professional job with the painting. They did all of the necessary clean-up of materials at the completion of the project. I will use them again.

Gregory stopped by in the evening and wrote up the quote while he was there. Once I decided to use him (i'd gotten prices from two other painters), he said he would be there the following week. He got all of the interior painting done in three days. He had to come back the following week to do the deck railing as the weather didn't permit painting outside the week he started. They did a good job and cleaned things up the areas they painted as soon as they were done.

Greg is the best! As a realtor I work with a lot of painters and contractors who don't communicate, do sloppy work, don't clean up or don't show! Greg and his crew were on time, responsive, worked hard, were super neat, fairly priced and did a beautiful job! I have more work for him and won't even think of hiring anyone else. Highly recommended.

It took only 3 days for them to finish entire first floor. They were punctual, polite and the job was done to perfection . Greg even cleaned up the paint i had spilled on my drive! I plan on having him do the outside trim on front of the house as well as the door and shutters.

Greg called us shortly after we purchased a coupon for painting services off of Angie's List. We were not ready to use him at the time, but called him a few weeks later. He was extremely responsive and very easy to schedule. We called on a Thursday and he scheduled us for the following Monday. He arrived promptly when he said he would. He painted a fairly large bedroom for us and did a great job. I am really happy with how the room look and how fast he was able to get it done. Very clean lines. He also gave us some very fair quotes for additional rooms that we had asked for. I would definitely use Greg's services again.

Greg and his assistant arrived on time, actually 15 minutes early, which was great. He put down drop clothes everywhere. He did a great job in painting a bedroom and laundry room. There was no paint on the trim, ceiling or floors. I will be calling him back to paint other areas in our house. Thanks!

I enjoyed working with Gregory Thomas and his assistants. Mr. Thomas clearly knows the business well and follows best practices. Drop cloths were placed through the house every day and clean up was scrupulous. Plaster debris was carefully bagged for garbage collection (and when my town's picky garbage collectors wouldn't take it, he offered to take care of it). I also appreciated his efforts to finish on schedule - he brought in a 3rd pair of hands to complete all the painting in one day. His estimate was competative and he gave great value for the money. I've already asked him to do another project.
