Started this process in September 2012. Last contact with the company was second week in January 2013. This is a family owned and operated company where nobody is really paying attention the business or to customer service. The overly expensive, Hunter Douglas product was not what I expected. Not properly decribed by salesperson. Since it was such an expensive special order and I had waited so long for it, I accepted responsibility for what I had ordered. After waiting weeks and weeks the installation was finally scheduled. I moved all the family room furniture out of the way, only to find after they had installed in the kitchen, they only had the kitchen blind. The son and helper were clueless that there were two other much larger window treatments to be installed. So a few more weeks went by waiting for those treatments to come in. After the very quick family room installation, I was not happy with the way the blinds hung, bowed out and not hanging flat. Two weeks later I get a call from the daughter/salesperson. She came out and we discoverd the top rail was not hung level on both windows. She referred the problem to her father. I made at least five calls to the father trying to get him to get it done. He would call back but it took another six weeks or better to get the father/owner out to level the rails. These are very nice people,very apologetic BUT I would never do business with them again. It was one excuse after the other. I happened to see their invoice and the Hunter Douglas product was marked up to me at double their cost. By their own statements it was obvious this family's personal and church commtments have a much higher priority to them than their business. Out of town for extended periods excuse was given for the some of the delays.
