They were not on schedule, they fit me in at other times, it took way too long. I hired them in May and said they'd finish the end of June. It took 6 months. They did a sloppy job in painting so I have to have someone else do it. They put a new roof on the bathroom and it leaked thru during the rainy season, water came thru the ceiling and we had to put buckets down. I didn't have their new phone number so I constantly emailed them, she sent her sons out and they were supposed to correct the problem. They thought they had to run a pipe but they didn't, they didn't install a light in the walk-in closet, theu cut hole in ceiling from the roof leak. They said they fixed the roof and put a plastic cover in the ceiling. It is still there. I have notified them about this and Diane said she would notify her sons but they haven't come back. I've been emailing her since and haven't gotten a response.

This company is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with! They are seemingly very nice people, but their professionalism and results were horrible. Please do not hire them to paint anything. They dented walls, scratched furniture, and left paint all over. Their edging is horrible. Their wood work is good. But if they leave jobs unfinished and do not take responsibility for their quality, it does not matter. They blamed us for many things that went wrong. We were just asking for the quality they promised and we deserved. When we continually asked them to improve their failing work they got heated and complained about the hours that they had already spent. When they fell behind on many deadlines, they blamed it on our not ordering things on time, or having the right equipment or supplies. I am not a builder and they did not make a list of supplies or deadlines for those supplies. It should be a builder's responsibility, whether or not the customers are picking out things out themselves, to offer leadership and verify everything is in place when they need it. Their management was virtually non-existent. They installed lights and did not center them, they left electrical units uncovered. When they installed new cabinetry and lighting, they left them unfinished. One year later, I am still cleaning up after them as I come across new things they left undone. We had a design for the bathroom that they agreed to do and when it failed to turn out the way we asked for it, they basically said "oops". They promise things that they do not deliver. We still have a list of things they said they would come back to fix. If you ever hire Roger's Builders, make sure you get a great contract, very specific, update it everyday, leave them plenty of time for scheduling. Either leave your home until they are done, or if your living in while they are working, be prepared to pull out your hair and babysit and be discouraged and worried at every moment. Oh, yes, and you might want to get a building background yourself so that you know how to manage them. Get ear plugs for your whole family, one of their employees cussed continually even on days when my 4 year old was home and nearby. On their behalf, I have never had remodeling done before, and I'm not even up on HGTV :-) so I was hoping to be led. But I shudder to get anything remodeling again because of the poor experience, service, and quality we received from Roger's Builders.

They kept telling me what was going on with the project. They were very courteous when they were working. They showed up on time everyday. They told me the night before what time the were going to be their the next day. They cleaned up everyday before they left.

That was a major undertaking-they were reasonably responsive, trustworthy, very nice people, we genuinely like Charles and his son Ben. We did have some issues with things getting done correctly the first time. They slightly overstated their capabilities, but they did correct problems they pointed out and stayed within budget and communicated with us.

It went pretty well, we are satisfied with the work. They had the best price of the companies we looked into. It took them a little longer than expected for them to get the work done. They did their best to try to accommodate. The final product turned out great so it was worth it.

I first contacted Rogers for a different project (remodeling master bath). They were extremely professional and were the lowest (by a significant amount) of 3 quotes that I had. I ended up choosing to do that remodel myself. Since I would have chosen Rogers for the first project had I not done it myself, they were the first ones I called for an estimate for the new project. I called two others, but they were no-show. Work was started within 1 week of contract signing. The work was done with exceptional quality and was completed within 2 weeks. It was on budget both time- and money-wise. The work was done by Rogers employees (no subs). They cleaned up after themselves each night. Charles and Ben kept in touch with me throughout the project, asking for input and clarifying expectations. The overall experience with Rogers was GREAT. Not only would you do yourself a great service by working with Rogers, you would be doing yourself a great disservice by NOT working working with them.
