We had several documents to be signed by my husband and me then notarized so it was helpful to have the notary come to our home. We asked a next door neighbor to be a witness for us and it was all taken care of in one quick appointment.

Roger arrived in a timely fashion and agreed to meet me several different places along the way (at my request, not his). He was very understanding and accommodating, and did an outstanding job explaining the specifics of the transaction when he got there. He swore my wife and me in and explained all of the details prior to filling out the title transfer. While he was notarizing that, I asked him if he'd be willing to notarize a last will and testament. Roger, being a wonderfully informative guy, went on to explain to us that Wills don't need to be notarized in the state of Ohio, but rather, they needed to be witnessed by at least 2 unrelated, uninterested parties. He then went on to tell me about the importance of a medical power of attorney, a durable power of attorney, and several other estate planning topics. THEN, Roger pulled out a few template forms and handed them to me (no charge for the forms or the advice). Talk about above and beyond, value-added service! The idea of a "whenever and where ever you need him" notary service is fantastic in and of itself. Roger still managed to exceed my expectations for the reasons above. I'll definitely look forward to working with Roger again!

We have called Roger Rill's Notary One service three times for notarizing papers for various transactions. On our most recent call, we asked him to provide notary services for the sale of our house in Missouri. We moved to Columbus in an adverse real estate market for sellers and hung on to the property for three years. However, with our children, jobs, dogs, and busy schedules, we could not attend the closing in person. Roger arranged with us a convenient time to meet at our house and we sat at the kitchen table signing a sheaf of documents. He was very helpful and professional, ensuring we had signed and initialed everywhere (not just the documents he notarized) and pointed out the lack of a title on one notarized document, which could have been attached to just about anything. We successfully closed the sale without ever leaving our own house in Columbus. Roger was very gracious with our curious children and big barking dogs as well. We wouldn't call anyone else, and we're proud to hire a Veteran for this service.

Unfortunately, we were backed into a corner with the need for a Sunday completion of real estate paperwork that needed to be delivered first thing Monday morning. Because the paperwork didn't arrive until Sunday morning, we needed a fast solution to our notary needs. And to be honest, we thought any notary would do. Fortunately we discovered Roger through a Google search. He turned out to not only offer mobile notary services on a Sunday, but was also extremely well-versed on real estate paperwork. Within two hours, Roger arrived at our house with copies of all of our documents ready for completion. In less than one hour, Roger walked us through all of the paperwork, had us sign all necessary forms, and notarized the documents. He also took the time to explain the documents that were mislabeled and needed to be adjusted. We would highly recommend Roger's services to anyone looking for support with notary services. He was polite. He was on time. Provided notary service that required my mother's signature. Reasonable price was off site. A wonderful service to travel to the nursing. He was courteous to my 96 year old mother. Angie's List nomination for me. I gave his business card to the Admissions Director who did NOT know about him. Many of the people in this nursing home need notary services. His willingness to go to the nursing home is beyond the call of duty this day and age!!!!

If you want a true professional that returns your texts and calls, is committed to accommodating your schedule, arrives promptly at your home and "knows his stuff," then give Mr. Rill a call. My husband and I needed signatures notarized the day before Thanksgiving after 4:30 p.m. Good luck with that! I called two UPS stores and was told by the first that the notary would not be working on Wednesday. The second UPS store said the notary might be there but if things were slow he might decide to leave early and that I should call first. My third option was to call Notary One Mobile Signature Services. I didn't check Angie's before I called, I was desperate and had resigned myself to paying whatever it cost to have the notarization completed. I called Roger and got his voicemail so I decided to send him a text instead. He responded to me within minutes! We set up a time convenient for my husband and myself. Cringing, I asked Roger what the charge would be. He replied "$22.00." WHAT?!? I couldn't believe he was going to come to our house, on our schedule, on Thanksgiving Eve no less, and only charge $22. I'm never bothering with other notaries. Why would I? Based on my experience with Notary One Mobile Signature Services, I would recommend Mr. Rill without reservation.

I emailed Roger in the morning after seeing the add on Angie's List. He emailed very quickly and said texting would be easier- so that is how we communicated. He was very understanding and flexible as I waited to hear from my husband who was working, as to what exact time to tell Roger to come. We had planned on one time but my husband was going to be a bit late and Roger said fine - even though it cut into his dinner. He showed up at exactly the time he said, was very professional. We loved that he has a background teaching notary services to judges, police,etc.... he also has experience notarizing things for adoption and knew exactly what we needed. We thought the price was totally reasonable considering he came the same day I contacted him and he drove to our home. He said he does this at all hours and has even been called in the middle of the night for very important last minute things. A very nice man, felt very comfortable and confident having him in our home and and we would definitely call him again..... I didn't tell him this-but he reminded me of my dad that passed away..... which was such a wonderful thing!!!!!!!!

Mr. Rill was time flexible and arrived online. Knew the documents and could explain them. Made two trips for our convenience at no extra charge. Pleasant to work with.
