I bought a Romanelli & Hughes home in 2009. I contacted Romanelli and Hughes (R&H) in early 2015 about several of my Jeld-Wen windows that had seals that had started to leak. One thing about R&H they don't back off their responsibility for maintaining ownership of issues after the sale. They pointed me to the subcontractor who installed the windows (84 Lumber). I was given the name of Eben Plank at 84 Lumber. Eben was very responsive and helpful. Although the windows were 8 years old, I found out they were still under warranty. Eben has been championing my case with Jeld-Wen. He even came out to my home to look at the issue. We found additional windows other than the three that I had identified. The issue is now in Jeld-Wen's court, but because of Eben's dogged determination and efforts, I would definitely buy future products through 84 Lumber in Delaware. I can't say enough good things about Eben and 84 Lumber. There are a lot of 84 Lumbers and a lot of home improvement vendors around, but it is the individual that makes the experience memorable. Eben is a cut above and will go the extra mile for the customer.
