Mike did an excellent job painting. But what impressed me most was his willingness to rearrange his schedule to meet my deadline. He was going to work the weekend to make that happen. I would highly recommend him for all your painting needs. Thanks so much Mike!!!

Mike was great to work with. He didn't shy away from the many colors we used throughout the house. He was able to accommodate our time away from home. Looking forward to having him back to paint the outside next year.

Mike at MDS Painting was wonderful to work with. In these modern times it is a rarity to find someone who has Mike's commitment, skill, and eye for detail. He was meticulous in his prep work; he is a master with his brush, and he never hurried his work--preferring instead to take the time to make the finished work perfect. He was an excellent communicator, always letting me know his schedule and informing me of his progress. Given the scope of the work, the price was more than fair (it was a huge house plus detached garage). I cannot speak more highly of his professionalism. Mike was outstanding! He was extremely pleasant, hard-working and did an awesome job. He was on time and communicated well about all he was doing. I highly recommend him for any paint job.

I hired MDS Painting for some interior painting. Michael came out, looked at the job and quoted me a fair price so I accepted the quote. The first day of the job went well. Michael started the normal repairs on the walls (filling in holes, etc.). Michael came back the next day to finish the repairs and to start painting. It appeared as if he used some drop cloths but did not cover the entire floor with the drop cloths. The flooring is brand new and there was paint throughout the whole kitchen floor , living room floor, hallway floor, and steps. I texted Michael about this and he said that he must have stepped in the paint as he did put down drop cloths. Michael told me that he would clean it up when he comes back to finish. With the floor being new, I did not want the paint to set in, so I cleaned it up right away. It took almost two hours to clean up. After looking over the rest of the kitchen, there were several spots where he got paint on our sink, on the cabinet doors, and inside some of the drawers as we do not have our counters installed yet. He only taped certain cabinets so now there are uneven lines where the wall meets the cabinet trim with extra paint on the cabinet trim. Michael said that he would clean up all of the at the end so I felt a little bit better knowing that he would be taking care of that. Michael told me he would refund me $300 dollars which he did do. He also said that he would be putting on an extra coat of paint on all the walls. The third day that he came, he put drop cloths down everywhere and seemed to be more careful while painting. On this day, he put another coat on the main walls and was supposed to paint the wainscoting in the hallway white. At around 11:45 am, Michael notified me that he got 2 more coats on the walls and will come back to do the trim and wainscoting and that he cleaned everything up. It was slightly frustrating that he would have to come back a fourth day as he originally said the job would take 2-2.5 days. I asked if he would be able to come back the following day and he said he was unable to come back that day. He explained that he has a lot of pressure at another job where he is renting equipment and its costing him a lot of money. He wanted to come back the following week on a day that would not work for me. I told him I'm not sure that day will work for me and told him that I am not sure why he started this job if it could not be completed in a timely manner. At this time, Michael told me that we are done and he will refund me the rest of the money for the trim and wainscoting that he never completed which he did send me the extra money. I am left not with a job that is half way done and will have to complete the job myself. I am sharing this experience as I read all the reviews and they all seem good. I am not saying by any means that those are not true, this is simply my experience and it was not a good one.

I cannot say enough great things about Mike and Jim - their work was exceptional, timely, and above and beyond in Customer Service. As I walked the work plan, Mike defined what could be done, we clarified, and planned accordingly. We had multiple items in the scope that were a bit untraditional for Mike and Painting. We both agreed lets work together to do what I asked for. Mike and Jim were flexible and accommodating completely. The Outcome was fabulous, better than expected. Every day Mike and Jim - enjoyed coming to work, and my wife and I enjoyed having them here... Like friends and Not contractors. To be clear - Mike and Jim worked On Time to schedule - so much so, they worked me hard, trying to keep up with taking Next Space apart to be painted, and putting Fresh Painted space Back to Home. Given between Thanksgiving and Christmas timing anyone can appreciate - putting everything back and Decorated for Christmas. Mike and Jim were so helpful and respectful - it was almost if they were invested in Our Christmas Decorating. Great People - Great Painters, doing all the work - everyday. Absolutely will hire again, highly recommend.

I had interior painting for my entire house done by MDS Painting. Mike is a great guy, did a fantastic job , very happy with his work.The best thing about mike is he is patient, listened to what I wanted since I changed my color choice for one of my rooms after he already painted it.If came out really good in the end and we just love it. I highly recommend Mike and MDS painting to everyone!

Mike did an excellent job in every aspect. I would use him again without any hesitation. He is accommodating and easy to work with. His price is very competitive. You can’t go wrong with him.

We live in a cedar sided, large 3 story home. From my research for this kind of siding we needed to use an acrylic solid color stain and it should be hand-brushed, not sprayed. However, spraying the cedar siding was the mode of operandi of most of the painting companies I interviewed. Michael Stahl of MDS Painting is not like the other painters we had estimates from. We were lucky to find him because his practices fit all our requirements. He hand brushes. He recommended the solid color stain and he was going to try to paint it this summer if our weather permitted. Other requirements that I was hoping for but couldn't attest to until the job was done was honesty, reliability and cleanup when the job was completed. The completed job is beautiful. He did a great job. I highly recommend MDS Painting. Michael uses top of the line paint/stain, he's reliable, conscientious, skilled, careful, neat and an all around nice guy. His payment method is fair and there were no additional costs. He sticks with his estimate. Generally, you get what you pay for. We got what we paid for and more. We've already lined him up to do an interior job for us and will gladly pass his name on to anyone that needs painting done.

So incredibly pleased with the work done by MDS Painting!! Hired them for 1 room and then hired back for the entire downstairs!! Worked quickly and even helped with curtains, blinds and register replacement. I highly recommend using MDS painting! Always on time & service with a smile!!

Mike Was so wonderful to work with! We renovated our home while living out of state. He was so great at communicating with me over the long distance and ensuring that the project ran smoothly. Punctual, hardworking, cheerful, flexible, clean, and almost effortless painting by a true pro who did not spatter and just required 2-3 feet of access to walls meant minimal furniture moving and disruption. One week of Mike spinning his magic changed our lives. In 40 years I have never met a contractor who kept his word, finished timely without a bait-and switch. It was harder to submit this well-deserved review than it was dealing with Mike. Able to transmit quote, contract and payment electronically. Mike has done many high-profile homes and the title of Master Painter is appropriate!
