Found Jerry/TechBachelors through Angie's List. Jerry spent time on the phone and via email to better understand what I wanted to accomplish. He gave me some suggestions about potential network storage solutions and recommended some products to research before he came out. Jerry evaluated my network and got two older computers running more efficiently. We discussed the options for network storage and I have ordered some equipment and will have Jerry come out to install and configure a network storage device that should address my back-up and file sharing needs. I would highly recommend TechBachelors.

There were some unexpected technical glitches,outside of Jerry's control, so the process took longer than any of us planned. Jerry was very professional and worked hard to overcome the problems - and was able to get the job done. Thanks Jerry.

Jerry arrived at the agreed time and immediately started to fix the issues. He was very helpful by explaining what he was doing and why; he provided tips on continued maintainence and for security, memory, back-up drives. He listened to each problem I was having, fixed them and made sure that they were fixed by retesting each concern. If (when) I have other computer problems, I know to call Jerry.

Jerry showed up promptly. He quickly assessed the situation and got right to work. Apparenlty, our office computer set-up had some very unusual aspects which made our situation challenging. This did not slow Jerry down, as he systematically went through each and every aspect until he was able to find a relatively obscure problem that was keeping the system from working properly. He kept us informed every step of the way and answered every question in a very informative way, no matter how basic. He was a delightful contrast to our previous experience with computer consultants. His price was more than fair for the work he did. His knowledge base is exceptional for both basic home and more sophiticated business settings. I recommend him highly and without reservation.

Jerry arrived on time on the day we had arranged to meet. He listened to the laptop hard drive and told us it had failed. He offered his services to replace it but I decided to get a new laptop instead. He took the time to offer quotes on laptops (the same day!) he would set up and deliver a few days later. I elected to go with a different model bought elsewhere but I still appreciate the advice and knowledge he shared. He did not request any payment for his trip to my home. It's great to find somebody so profesional and easy to work with.

Excellent experience. Jerry researched our needs and the products available extensively ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness and ease of use. He arrived on time and completed the install in less than estimated time. He was very flexible concerning our household schedule. Also he explained things to us in a way that few (if any) tech experts are able. Lastly he made sure that we were trained on how to use the new system and has done a few follow up calls to make sure it was still functional. We have used him before and the experience continues to be 5 ****!

Jerry made the diagnosis over the phone. He arrived same day on-time and within a short time he fixed our computer.

Terrific. We couldn't use recently purchased software. Jerry not only fixed that problem, he took the next step to help us in the future, installing the anti-virus software and the licenses. Prompt, professional, wonderful.

Jerry helped us design a plan for setting our TV, cable box with DVR, and ultimately Roku (Netflix movie watching box) that allows us to have a relatively cord free TV room. As part of the set up, he advised us on setting up wireless internet in our home. The key component he recommended is a Harmony remote control that operates all of our equipment from a different room. In our case, everything, but the TV is in the utility room in our basement behind a closed door. He also told us about the Roku from Netflix which is going to save us money from movie rentals. Lastly, he told us we could get wireless internet with just a router and we did need the other items that had previously been recommended to us. Jerry was very helpful with answering questions even after his in ital consultation. I wanted to order the necessary equipment and set it up myself to try and save money, but required some additional help from Jerry, which he was able to provide by email. The only piece still not working 100% correctly is the Harmony, but I have not had time to call the customer support line. I am hoping they will resolve the issue and our set up will be complete.

It went very well. Mr Jones as always was very prompt. Upon his arrival her discoverd one of our PC was full of dust and on the verge of crashing so he cleaned it for FREE! Mr Jones had given us numerous email consults prior to his arrival and was always quick to respond to emalis. We wanted to buy a Mac laptop and go wireless in our home. We got great advice from him on products, how and were to get them. Mr Jones is always very professional and helpful.

Jerry was terrific. He was very helpful on the phone. He set an appointment with me immediately. He was very punctual. Jerry explained what was wrong and and how he would fix it. He did not rush through the repair and the computer is working great.

Excellent. Jerry knows what he's doing and gets the job done efficiently. Jerry is excellent at what he does -- he excels in knowing computers, software, and wireless but he doesn't make you feel stupid by talking computer geek. I've used Jerry to help me improve my computer system, but he's also been very responsive to my e-mails and phone calls. I work remotely from home with my corporate office in Dallas, TX. He's like my own personal help desk that makes house calls. The first time I used Jerry was to do an annual cleanup on my employer provided laptop. The second time was to install an upgrade to my contact management software and have it synchronize with my PDA. As a sales representative my contact files are my lifeline and Jerry was sensitive to their importance. He set everything up perfectly without losing one bit of contact information. At that time Jerry cautioned me that my laptop would not last another year and advised me to have my employer provide me with a new laptop. When they did, Jerry came out a third time to transfer all my important programs and files from my old laptop to my new one. Jerry even set up a wireless network in my home so I can go anywhere in my house, go on Internet, and have my printer print -- all without wires.

He was on time. He did his work, told us what was needed and even bore the expense of ordering needed parts until he installed them.

The techbachelors were here for three hours and they were able to retrieve the data that was lost on my computer. They have very competitive prices and they do excellent work. He is very reliable and professional.

Jerry was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He had great suggestions. He added extra protection to my computer and demonstrated how to run the anti-virus software. Before leaving, he told me to call him if I had any problems or questions. I would highly recommend and would definitely use him again.

Jerry immediately called me back and was prompt the day of the repair. Jerry was very professional and spent two hours evaluating and fixing the entertainment center. From my description of the problem, Jerry brought two cables which he incorporated into the entertainment system. After evaluating the system, he explained what the problem was and why the sub woofer would not work as it should because I didn't have a purge strip. Jerry was very patient in making sure I understood how to run everything. The sound was so good it was like I had a new system! He also reassured me that if I have any questions to call him.

Jerry was great. From the moment I called he was professional and fit me in even though he had a full schedule. After I dropped off my laptop, he was able to get me a diagnosis within a day. He originally told me the parts would take about a week and then it would take him a day or two to install the parts. Two days later I got a call saying my laptop was ready for pickup. From start to finish Jerry was prompt and professional. Very impressed. Would definitely use Jerry again.

We checked Angie's list and decided to call Techbachlors. We set-up a time and date for Jerry to come out. He was on time and was very courteous. He stayed approximately two hours and got the computer running well including installation of a new security system. He had to order a memory card which he did immediately. The memory card came within a week and we called him to set up a time he could return.. Again he came on time and did the remaining work which was installing the card, cleaning the computer and updating the current system.

Jerry arrived on time, we went right to work on the computer and went through programs that I needed and did not need. He recovered a lot of memory that was being wasted. This made my computer run much better and I now can play one of my favorite games that I was having trouble with.

Jerry did an awesome job. He returned my call promptly and did some consulting over the phone before I scheduled any service with him. To save time, he was able to meet me at a location near my work to pickup my computer. About 5 days later (over a weekend), he delivered the computer to my house and spent about an hour and a half hooking everything up and explaining how to use the new wireless network with all our computers. He bought a wireless router and network card (at a store closing sale to save us money) and installed it in our older computer so it would also be networked. He also gave recommendations on a new printer. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything we needed to know to keep our computers running better. He was great from start to finish. I will definitely use this company again and will recommend them to others.

Great. Jerry was scheduled to come on Sunday at a specific time; he was running late because of issues on his previous appointment but called and showed up later at the time he had indicated.

Our hard drive crashed on our home computer. Jerry answered the phone on a weekend night and came out the next day to diagnose the problem. He could not repair the problem. He gave us a number of options for what we could do and followed up to see if we needed additional help. I will use him again if I have any more problems with my computer, if I want to get another computer, or put in a home network.

Home visit to network our computers and printer. Very professional and personable. Explained process and procedure. Saved us money on virus and firewall protection. Accommodated our schedule with weekend service. Gave advice on where/how to purchase additional memory and offered to "talk us through the instillation over the phone". I have referred him to several friends for computer service and we will be using this company again.

Excellent experience. Jerry walked me through network testing steps over a couple day period of time to assess if it was worth our money to have him make a site visit. It turned out to be a problem with our rented modem from the cable company. He even followed to make sure we were satisfied with the outcome. I've not had a service experience like this EVER!!
