Description of Work: This last agreement was for snow removal. This company is awesome! They've been doing our seasonal cleanup as well as mowing our lawn for years now. Last spring they designed and installed a beautiful brick edge along the walkway to our house.

Description of Work: Trimmed front bushes and 3 bushes in back flower bed. Wanted front beds and back beds weeded. They applied weed killer and covered with black dyed mulch which we ordered and paid for. Two weeks after job was completed, weeds in back bed have returned with a vengeance. We have tried to keep up with removal by hand, but we are old and the weeds are tenacious. The weed problem was why we called them in the first place. Disappointed.

 + -1 moreWe had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out fine. Overall it was really good, and the only thing I would mention, is that he required that I provide my own garbage bags. He said in the future that he would have his own or let the customer know. His clean up was good, he was quick, and he was good.
Description of Work: We used Affordable Lawncare. He did bush trimming, hedge trimming, and weeded the back yard.

 + 0 moreI gave a "fair" score on punctuality because they were approximately 40-45 minutes late. I'm fairly punctual and I did have to be somewhere later, but I had also not read the deal correctly, thinking they would be there 4 hours, but it was 4 MAN HOURS total. They worked continually for the time there and did perform work past the time period I had paid for, so I was very appreciative of the extra work performed. All work was done very professionally, cleaned up and did a great job.
Description of Work: Cole and an employee trimmed badly overgrown shrubs and ornamental tree, edged the grass and dug a trench for edging along garden/flower bed.

 + -1 morethey (three people) were fantastic. arrived on time and set to work imnmediately. they were very professional. the grasses were dug and cut up and placed in bags which were then placed on the tree lawn. they cleaned up when finished. i would have no hesitation in recommending them and in using them for another project.
Description of Work: removed three stands of ornamental grass and one small quince tree.

 + 0 moreKole left me an Angie's List message a couple of hours after I ordered the Big Deal. He left his number and when I left a message to give him details of the work that needed to be done, he called me back within the hour. We scheduled an appointment for the following week. He said he would be there at 8 AM and, well, he wasn't on time. I called him around 9 to find out if there was a misunderstanding and he apologized and said he'd be there soon. He arrived at 10 AM but I have to admit - I told him I was very open with my schedule because I would work out of my home that day. From the moment he arrived to the time he left, he worked HARD. After a couple of hours two additional guys came to help him finish the job and they left everything very neat and tidy.
Description of Work: I ordered an Angie's List Big Deal of $150 for 4 man hours or service. Actually I ordered two. We moved into a bank owned home that had been abandoned for two years and the yard was completely overgrown. Kole was amazing! He removed bushes, trimmed trees, pulled ivy and weeds, and basically gave us our yard back. He edged the driveway and sidewalk and removed growth from a brick path that was so overgrown we could barely see it. Now we have a beautiful yard with a lot of potential for next spring. He also bagged everything and set it on the curb.
