Provider showed up every day until job was completed. Provider showed up on time. Provider did an excellent job of cleaning up each day and consolidated their materials into one location. The owner and his wife performed the actual work and were on site each day. The only negative is that provider does not provide a written quote or receipts for materials so you have to trust what you're being told; my feeling is that they were on the pricey side but I did not have time to obtain comparative quotes to be sure--however, other aspects were more important to me such that the owners were the people doing the work, I felt comfortable leaving them in my home and unlike other contractors I have worked with, they were prompt In starting the job and finished the work without delay or interruption and the quality of their work was better than average. I would recommend them to others. UPDATE 7/24/2014 In fairness to Gary and to be CLEAR, my feeling about the cost for the project is an OPINION and I might be completely out of line in terms of the cost--as I said above, I wasn't able to go out and get any comparative quotes as I did not have time to do so but in the end, I went with Gary because what was more important to me was the quality of work and the fact that I felt I could trust Gary in my home. Gary was willing to work with me on the cost and did come down from his initial quote before he started the job AND WHEN THE PROJECT WAS FINISHED, HE CHARGED ME EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD. As far as receipts for the materials, Gary has indicated he will provide those to me.

They were easy to schedule with, prompt, polite and did a great job. I would use him again and recommend to others.

So happy with the finished product and with the level of service. This was a huge job, and Gary and his team were very professional, neat and thorough. Gary/Maria and Rich were fantastic start to finish. Gary was easy to schedule an appointment with for the estimate and provided it quickly. The start/finish dates were set and adhered to. This job was complex given the amount of woodwork painting involved and it was perfectly done. Wall painting was also great. Their attention to detail was impressive and the job area was left very clean and tidy at the end of each work day. I would rank them at the top in terms of work performed in my home by contractors. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Gary arrived promptly as scheduled ach of the three days. His painting and plastering was exceptional.

Gary and Maria, along with Rich, are wonderful people to work with. Gary responded in a very timely manner and we quickly determined a time that would work for both of us. They were recommended to me by a close friend that was very pleased with the work they did for her. My job was very detailed and required a lot of work. They are hard workers and perfectionists and want to ensure that everything is done properly. Each day before they left, they cleaned up everything and made the house useable for the evening. I am extremely pleased with their work and would easily recommend them. I was so pleased that they are now back to paint my bedrooms, hallway, and bath. It's a pleasure having them in the house.

It went fantastic the wallpaper removal went smoothly. They cleaned up every night placed things off to the side they painted my kitchen so by doing that I was able to still use my kitchen, They were friendly. They also made a suggestion about my color I had chose and helped me pick a more fitting color for my kitchen. I was very pleased with the service and I would use them again and recommend to my neighbors.

Gary called a few days after I contacted him and we scheduled a day for the estimate. He arrived on time and I went over what I wanted done. He called a few days later with the estimate and gave me an approximate time frame for the job. I accepted the terms and he called a few weeks later to start the job. Gary and his wife Maria and helper arrived on time and were very professional. No loud crazy music or foul language. Gary and his team completed the job in 2 days. They painted the high ceilings in both dining and living room, fixed a crack in the ceiling, fixed a bad patch up job from a previous light fixture, patched many holes in walls, and smoothed a few areas on the walls that needed attention. I usually do the house painting myself, but decided to treat myself this one time because I have been painting the inside of my home for the last 5 months. I will now enjoy coming home from work with freshly painted walls in my living and dining room.

Gary was very responsive. He came out quickly to do the estimate and to complete the job. He was on time each day. His work was complete and of high quality. I will hire Gary again.

The job went smoother than I thought. There were 3 layers of wallpaper on the dining room wall. They removed two and prepared the wall so well it actually looks better that the walls that did not have wallpaper on them. I thought this job was going to take a few weeks but took four days. Gary and Maria have done painting for us in the past. Easy to reach, punctual and cleaned up each day. Very professional work. They have painted bedrooms, hallway, living room , and bathroom as well. Each day Gary would discuss what they did and ask questions.

I called Gary to inquire about a quote, which he performed within a week of me calling him. He gave me an estimate for the rooms I wanted painted and told me that even though he was pretty well booked he would try to fit me in sooner than later depending on how his jobs were going. He called me a couple of days later and said that he had an opening that following week. He and his wife Maria completed our project within a day and 1/2. They both were extremely professional and easy to work with. They were very neat and the paint work was excellent. Gary called me both days to let me know how things had went since they painted while we were at work, which I really appreciated. I would definitely hire him and his wife again for future projects and would definitely refer to friends. Great service and great work all around!

Mr. Hennessy and his wife are true masters of their craft. They removed the old wallpaper in our entry hall and kitchen, refinished the exposed sheetrock, and then painted over it. The end result looked like we'd had new sheetrock installed...no rough spots, ridges, or uneven places, just nice freshly painted walls and ceilings. In addition, they repainted all our kitchen cabinets. Gary even cleaned and refurbished the door hinges to like-new condition, since we were unable to find new ones that fit our old-style thin cabinet doors. They did a absolutely wonderful job on everything. They were extremely punctual and conducted themselves in a pleasant, professional manner. Working as a team, they quickly and efficiently got the job done with minimum disruption to us. I am very "picky" about things, and I could not find one single thing thing they did in less than a perfect manner. Everyone who sees the work they did commented on how nice it looks. I recommend them unequivocally.

We contacted Gary and he returned our call very promptly. A few days later he came to give us an estimate for painting our spare bedroom. He gave us a very reasonable estimate. We hired him on the spot. He explained he had to finish a large job so we would hav eo wait a couple of weeks. That was fine with us. He called a week later and said he had the time to do the job sooner than he expected. He and his wife arrived on time and immediately began to work. They were professional, patient, friendly and vey knowledgeable. They finished the first cost in an hour and a half. WOW! We were amazed and impressed with their efficiency and craftsmanship. The went to lunch for a short time and returned to complete the job. They finished the second coat with the same fine quality and efficiency as the first coat. We were so impressed with the quality of their work and the way they aim to please their customer. I wish ALL companies would treat their customers with the same respect and friendliness that Gary uses. We HIGHLY recommend Hennessey Interior Painting!!!!!!

This was a pretty simple job, Gary and crew came out, painted the walls as specified in the contract. The painting was well done and perfectly edged and very efficient with the paint. He was even willing to add a stairwell not specified in the original quote for just a small additional fee.

They are an excellent team that work very effiecently. Hennessy's Interior Painting was very timely and professional. Their work is quality is wonderful. Theya lso provided us with guidance on paint and made helpful recommendations. We could not be happier with their work. Outstanding!

Overall, they did a great job. Very neat and the painting job looked great.

They were here for only a day and a half. They sanded the wood and then took the wood from a dark wood finish to a white enamel. They were prompt and professional. They were both great people. The quality of the work was superior.

Gary is a talented craftsman. His knowledge is vast due to his many years of experience. Gary patched and prepared the walls perfectly....no small feet with removing the wallpaper which revealed drywall that had never had a coat of primer or paint on it. After priming the walls with two coats, they painted the room. We have oak beams in the ceiling and oak chair-rail. The paint job was perfect....Maria did a great job on all the trim work, painted the register covers and light switch plates, Gary was the "roller guy". Our walls are beautiful. One of the reasons I would recommend them is they are both very professional. I was comfortable leaving them in my home while I was at work. Gary returned calls when he said he would, showed up for the estimate on time, and arrived at our home to start the work on time. They cleaned up at the end of each day and stacked everything neatly in the corner of the room for the next day of work. Their work is outstanding and worth every penny....as always...you get what you pay for. Cindy

The business returned my call within a day or two. However, he informed me we weren't in their service area. That information conflicted with what appeared in his listing. A little frustrating. He also said he does do work in other communities that are more time-consuming to reach than where we live. Our home is about 35 minutes from where his business is located. It was disappointing since his reviews were so positive. We're in the process of painting the entire interior of our house so it would have been a worthwhile job. UPDATE: I didn't mean Mr. Hennessey any harm and as a business owner -- it's just what happened. He has every right to establish his own territory. My complaint was that the information within his ad conflicted with what he told me over the phone. I see he has changed his area of service in his ad which is good. I'm not a crank; I write many positive reviews on different sites. Still, from the customer's point of view, it's time consuming to sift through many ads and reviews, form a short list, make calls, wait for call backs only to find out the service provider doesn't come out to the area they listed. I"m sure prospective customers will consider the many positive reviews of Mr. Hennessey's work.

We are extremely please with the work Maria and Gary did for us. There is too many things to mention. The estimate of the work needed and the cost was done professionaly, Gary came twice and was very honest about the work needed and the pricing which was very reasonable for what they did. They were very accurate in the timing everyday and always finish what they say they will finish on daily basis. The work itself was done perfectly, they won't leave a room before they make sure it is flawless as much as they can and with both of them working together they really don't miss anything beside that at the end they go over the whole house, they will always update us on what was done and what will be done the next day and if there is anything additional needed very honestly. They did some woodwork painting and trimming that made it look lot nicer, they worked on a newly installed hardwood flooring and they were extremely careful with it, they take their time and they don't rush anything. We loved the fact that Gary and his wife Maria are the one who actually do the job not just give you estimate and send somebody else, and Maria was a great help also as far as adding some suggestions that made the colors and the job even better , another thing we didn't even expect is that Gary and Maria became like part of the family from the first day, they were very nice , reliable and helpful. Maria and Gary did lot of work in our house and it was one of our best decisions to choose them and we recommend them very highly for everybody.

Gary and his wife were fantastic. He was able to go out to my house on the same day that I called him to give an estimate. He was very thorough and honest when giving his estimate. He advised that certain things we could do ourselves and save some money and we really appreciated his honesty. He was able to schedule our job within a week of giving his estimate. We aren't currently living in the house but we went over most nights after work to see the progress and every night we were very happy with what we saw. He also called to update us frequently on what he had done that day and what he expected to do the next day. He ran into some unforseen issues that hadn't been discussed prior to the contract and did extra work to repair what he found (without asking for extra money to do it). Gary and his wife did an unbelievable job. The lines are so clean and perfect and the paint job looks truly professional. You definitely get what you pay for and more. If we ever need more painting done we'll definitely call Hennessy's!

Doing business with Gary and Maria Hennessy was unusual in that it was a hassle-free experience. They did what they said they would, they showed up on time and did the job for the price they quoted. They were professionals from the first to the last day, obviously caring about their craft and our happiness with the end result. Thank you, Gary and Maria! Well the Hennesy's showed up on time each day and I could trust them alone in the house while i worked. I had my stipe painted front living room painted and the dining room painted as well as two bedrooms upstairs. They we neat and cleaned up after each day.
