CURB APPEAL PAINTING

Called for a estimate on a 2 bedroom ranch interior whole house,it was a last minute due to renters moved out I was moving in and the house was empty.They were prompt with an estimate I said "all doors,trim and walls to be painted" walls all one color closets,trim and doors all white.They said it could be done and they would send a" crew" in to knock it out by time I would move in on May 4,2013. Ended up 1 guy was sent, the door in and out of garage only painted on one side and half the trim,eventhough I specified "all" (garage considered another entity?) Still painting while movers moving furniture into the house,no clean up,paint on carpet dribbles,splashes,a lot of missed areas on walls.The company called on following Monday with a survey about the job and if I was satisfied explained everything,then the owner called me back in 5 minutes met me the next day on the site,made everything right in the mean time the next day I was at work they were at my house again painting left my dog OUT didn't watch her and she almost got hit by a car and I was called by a construction worker at another job who saw this happen,saw she had a collar and tag and called me and I came home from work to rescue my DOG! I never gave permission to let her out,they just took it upon themselves to just "Let her go out the door!!!" But they wanted to cash that 1800.00 check in a hurry! This is WHY I paid to be on Angies List not to go through this.

They were good painters. We were happy with the work they did. They came when they said they were coming. We were happy with what they did. They weren't the cheapest but they were good so you get what you pay for. We were thinking of calling them again. I have some work to be done on the living room.

Fairly straightforward. They came out to give me a quote, I liked it so I hired them.

They gave me an estimate for painting the outside of my house. I liked the information they provided. They were professional. They told me what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. They will be using a premium type of paint. They have not done the job yet, but they will be.

They followed up after the work and that was great as I needed them to come back and repair a crack in a ceiling that they previously repaired.

Have you ever found that perfect contractor? I have hired tons over the last few months to finish my basement and have been met with a mixed bag of experiences. However, the guys at Curb Appeal painting top my list of best experiences. They were very prompt, fair in their estimates and they made sure I was completely satisfied before they declared it "done". it is an exceptional job and I fully intend to use them for all my future painting.

The company was quick to provide an estimate. When it was time to schedule the job, the work was started right away and promptly at the scheduled time. The job ended up being a bit trickier than initially quoted, due to the thickness of the plaster and creating a professional finish at the crease between the wall and the ceiling. After we repainted the affected area, it was almost impossible to tell that anything had been patched. The quality of the work was terrific.

Work was performed within a day and without much of a mess! Very much appreciated.

The entire experience was immensely satisfying. The estimate was thorough and quickly given, and came in as the cheapest we'd received. Almost everything was spelled out clearly in terms of costs and discount, and one item of confusion was settled in our favor expeditiously. The painting itself was done on schedule, starting every morning exactly when we were told it would. Tony was an excellent foreman, making sure he was clear on exactly what we wanted, and making changes if we asked him to. Though it rained several days, they managed to get the entire house and garage painted and trimmed in two coats within a week. The painting itself was done neatly, with a minimum of disorder to the lawn and rest of the house. We were given a chance to review the results and an additional discount for payment upon completion. And when we noticed an oversight a day later, they were happy to stop by and make it right. Every member of the staff was professional, considerate, and readily available for questions. I can't rate them high enough.

Team was professional in setting up appt. Arrived on time, did an amazing job.

Obviously, this was not a complex jopb and was completed within the time set on the offer. Our craftsman was very professional and made sure that the areas were left cleaner than he found them. I thought that the person, the work and the overall experience all were first-rate.

It went great. They showed up at the exact time they said they would be, and they finished sooner than they said they would be done. They did an excellent job.

Very good experience, good people to work with, house looks great. Very happy with the service and quality of the work.

The gentleman came on time and was wonderful. He started with the hole in the basement, and then to the crack in the bathroom on the first floor. Then he started the work on the entranceway. He would go back and forth to each job as he needed to do another step and let the plaster set up. He not only did the plaster work, but he also painted. He did all three things I needed done with 15 minutes to spare and did them beautifully! Thank you Curb Appeal Painting!!!

Before I found Curb Appeal, I tried several other companies. Each one told me the job was not the kind of thing that they do, and I should call somebody else. When I spoke to Andrew at Curb Appeal, he first told me the same thing, but then offered to come out and see if he could help me. He came earlier than scheduled and did everything he promised, plus a few little add-ons that I came up with when I saw what a great job he was doing. He was pleasant, energetic, and professional, covered my floors carefully, dried everything, wiped up, and even suggested that he could wash a high window while he was up there. I could not have asked for more. I'm looking for other (much bigger) jobs that I can have them do!

We had called a couple of wallpaper removal companies that came out and tested the walls and said they couldn't do it. Then Curb Appeal painting came and tested and said no problem. They gave us the best price and we gave them the job. They came on time everyday, very polite and neat working and when they cleaned up to leave at the end of the day, you couldn't tell that they had been there unless you looked at the walls. They walked us through each step of the process from wallpaper removal to painting so we would know what was going on. Upon completion of the job, we found a couple of spots that needed to be gone over. We called the company back and they promptly took care of the problem. We were very satisfied and have recommended Curb Appeal to our friends.

OVERALL THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THEY KEEP US INFORMED OF THEIR PROGRESS AND CALLED EVERY EVENING TO CHECK ON THEIR WORK AND LET US KNOW WHAT TIME THEY WOULD BE THERE IN THE MORNING. VERY NEAT AND PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. WILL CALL AND USE THEM WHENEVER WE NEED MORE WORK DONE.

The job is flawless. Not only did Curb Appeal perform the work that was asked, but they went above and beyond that the job was done to fit within our timeline and find molding to match the wood we have in our old house. Rick is a fantastic painter and repaired the plaster walls flawlessly. He was able to blend in the paint on damaged areas to ensure that there is no sign that there was ever any damage. He moved quickly and efficiently without sacrificing the quality. Rocky worked on the carpentry to add new molding around our existing window casing. The outcome is perfect and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. Andrew Smola was the GM who handled our entire project and did an absolutely fantastic job! He turned a quote around quickly and scheduled the job to fit within our tight timelines. He also went to 3 different stores to find the perfect molding to match the wood casings in our old house. He was present when the guys were working to ensure the job was done perfectly - in fact he finished up the caulking around the window himself to make sure the job was done before I went out of town for work. You can't go wrong with Curb Appeal! We have some additional work that will need to be done in our home and Curb Appeal is now on our list of reliable, efficient and affordable contractors!

They arrived on time (or close enough) and did what appears to be a good job. The representative (Vinny, I believe) who performed the work was informative, polite, professional, and went out of his way to locate the proper stipple brush required to match my finish. He was also very careful in preparation and clean up, which is always a plus. I highly recommend this guy. The quoting process was delayed due to a missed appointment (my fault) However I feel this process could have been much more efficient if they allowed me to (email) send my own pictures, as opposed to having a representative come to my house. (again this was a simple repair) This was a two visit repair --- one to view the job, the other to repair the job, separated by 3 or so weeks. The repair is not yet dry, so I can not comment on color, however the ceiling pattern is (close) so I think it's an good job.

The contract representative and the workman could not have been more professional. Timely response and start to work. The actual work on this large bath was absolutely excellent. I could not asked for a more professional result. I will use this company again in the spring for some other jobs. DO use this company. Bath and Shower Rooms are repaired perfectly and look fabulous!

From the beginning to the end of the job they did every thing that was promised. It was all done in a timely manner.

Curb Appeal Painting- The man called as requested- was on time- was very professional in doing the job and cleaned up after the job. I / definitely will call this company again for work to be done when I need drywall work/ and or painting work. The basement wall needed several coats of material to be painted on the wall and then had to dry after each. Heat was used when needed. To finish he job - the wall was painted.
