Clement Construction

Everyone was fantastic. Dan came out the day after our first call to discuss our thoughts. He suggested we talk with an interior designer to give us an idea of how the bar we wanted built would fit in our space. Renee drew up the plans and Dan and his team made it come to life. Dan was willing to work around us doing some of the work ourselves like taking down the existing ceilings and re-routing all of the loose wiring that had been hanging over the original drop ceilings. He was also fine with us hiring out the tiling and flooring, although, when we ran into an issue getting someone to install the flooring in our timeline, Dan called in a favor and Scott did a wonderful job on the install. Joe and Steve were amazing carpenters, so clean and meticulous. I can't say enough about their work, the detail on the columns and bar are beautiful. The painters were fast and very thorough - Marty had the ceilings primed and painted in two days and Daedra made sure that the walls were painted the way we wanted, and that the staining and top coats were perfect. We wanted to get the work done in time for an Easter brunch we were hosting, and Dan made sure he kept everyone moving to keep on our timeframe. The whole experience was very well managed and, other than the normal mess that construction brings, was one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. We love our new basement!

I called and set up an appointment for Mr. Snyder to come to my house and give me an estimate to take a wall down between my kitchen and dining room. He showed up on time. He took pictures and said he was going to have to show them to his "engineer" to see if it was a support wall. He called back about 2 weeks later (much later than he said he would) and told me that his "engineer" said it was a support wall and it was going to cost me between $2,500 and $3,000 to have to wall taken down and a support beam built to support the wall. I told him no thanks. I had Pat from Hammer Time Home Improvement (440-488-6288) come out and give me an estimate. He told me that the wall was NOT a support wall. He took the wall down and left the existing beam in the wall and added extra support beams for extra support. He did this for $650. He finished the job about 3 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. Everything came out perfect with absolutely no stress on the second floor from the wall being gone.

I spent around $7000 on that work. They were very good and their pricing was excellent. They were very thorough. They came back with the correct information and they were very prompt.

The work went very smoothly and they kept me informed every step of the way. I didn't have to do a thing. This is the best company I have ever worked with. They go out of their way to help you in any way they can.

I called Clement Construction Inc. to see if I could get an estimate for a new front door and some other remodeling work. The owner, Dan Clement came to my home with brochures and pictures from other jobs. He advised my husband and I on which front door would be best and he told us about the energy credit we would receive for installing the new door. His prices were so reasonable; we decided to get three more doors installed. His workers came to my home early every morning and the whole job was completed in three days. Mr. Clement came out each day to check on the progress as well. I get many compliments about my new doors. My husband and I are very satisfied with the work completed by Clement Construction Inc. All together Clement Construction installed 4 exterior doors, six outside light fixtures and one interior light fixture; they removed an old deck ledger board and put up new siding (which they matched perfectly with the siding that had been up for over twenty years), and installed railings on my porch steps. In addition, they installed a beautiful pediment over our new front door. We are going to have them come back in the spring and install new windows for us.

They did a great job. The steps fit, and they did the job in about a day. They didn't damage anything either. The pricing looked good, and the insurance company approved it.
