The project went very well. Blair and his team did a great job, and the new lawn looks great. The overall project came in on time and on budget. I look forward to working with Rain One for many more years to come.

Rain One was great to deal with. They always showed up on time and the workers were hard working. They worked 8-10 hours a day with only small breaks for 3 days. That's a rare find these days. I plan to continue using this company to open and close the system every year. Good job. They also gave a discount to Angie's list members.

Rain One is a good company to work with. Jeff, who came to give us an estimate and work out the details of the system was great. He called when he said he was going to call, and showed up when he said he was going to show up. The crew who put the system in did it in one day! The price was a little more than I wanted to pay, but I felt I was getting a reliable company with years of experience. They have 24hour on call service if something goes wrong with the system, and a 5 year warranty. After the system was up and running, it was worth every penny because I don't feel like I'm a slave to the yard trying to keep everything green. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone interested in getting an irrigation system.

Rain One was prompt in returning our call for service and accurately estimated the earliest date they could perform service. They arrived promptly on the scheduled date and performed the work to our complete satisfaction. They did not require that anyone be at home and they just invoiced for the service. What a great local company. We definitely would use them, again.

They came when they said they would come. Employees are careful not to track in any dirt when they come into the home. I would have like to have them come to fire up my irrigation system about a month earlier but they couldn't get to my system until May. My mother recommended this company to me and I would recommend this company to others.

Jeff and his team were very easy to work with and very professional. We had been getting a lot of water in our garage, due to the slope of the backyard, which is covered with pavers. Rain One installed a surface drain in front of the pedestrian door on our garage (where most of the water was coming in) and a french drain along the whole garage. It solved the problem immediately and looks very nice. They were very responsive and punctual.

The issue was taken care of. In general I have been satisfied. Even though I had one issue, they took care of it quite well and they seem to be a very reliable firm; I have no problems using them again. The quality of work is good and the price is what it is in this market. They arrived when they were supposed to arrive and they were professional at what they do. I’m already arranging to have additional work done.

They are always really great and efficient. Also the staff is very kind and thorough. I only have good things to say about them.

They were on time and polite. We ended up doing part of the job ourselves and so would need to get a new estimate from them.

Rain One installed an underground irrigation system for us in 2010. We gave them A ratings with Angie's List at that time. We have called them twice a year since to service the system--spring activation and fall deactivation. In April this year, Rain One performed the spring service for our underground watering system. I had also asked them to perform the backflow valve check which is required by the city. We received a notice from the city on June 7th that they had not received the completed form. I called Rain One on 6/7, 6/8, and 6/11 asking them to confirm that the backflow had been checked. I did not receive a call back. Since the form was due on 6/15, I called a plumber from another company and had them perform the check and submit the completed notice. The service call was $85. On June 20th, I received a copy of the faxed backflow valve form (dated 6/18/12) from Rain One which had been faxed to the city and a bill. Since they do not seem to return phone calls, I faxed them a complaint about the lack of response, the lateness of filing the form with the city, and the fact that I had to pay for the same service twice. Of course, I have received no response. I am extremely disappointed and unhappy with their customer service.

They were friendly and professional. They performed the inspection when they said they would. They arrived on time and completed everything needed to sell the home.

We used RainOne because we have had good experiences with them in the past and we knew that it would be a good and reliable job. They also checked all of our piping to make sure that there wasn't any further damage.

Having had previous positive experiences with Rain One?s drain repair team I thought I would use them to add a zone to my irrigation. When I called and asked for an estimate they passed me to sales guy named Jeff and we agreed upon a time and date to meet. 2 or 3 days before the scheduled appointment (which was originally scheduled 2 weeks before) Jeff rescheduled because he had to pick his daughter up from cheerleading practice. The next day Jeff called to reschedule again which forced me to take time off work for the new appointment time. The day of the appointment he called (after I left work) to reschedule for 5pm. This I did not know until returning to work the following day. Long story short he showed up at 5:35 (35 minutes late) for an appointment he rescheduled 3 times. The very brief meeting consisted of Jeff informed us he could not give us an estimate until his technician could look over our current system. Jeff said someone from his office would call us and arrange a time for the technician. His office never called and Jeff was unresponsive to email inquiries over the next 5 weeks.

Rob adjusted several irrigation heads; a few valves were fixed; and a major leak was repaired (with special care taken to not damage any landscaping).

We had a water problem in our yard and it was causing a water problem in our next-door neighbors' yard. Both of our yards would remain soggy, even several days after it would rain. I knew our drains had to be the problem because I ran out to the street one day when I heard our sump pump run. Nothing came out of the drain hole into the curb. Rain One gave me the best price in their estimate to remove all the old drain pipe and replace it with a more durable drain pipe and replace our old sump pump. They even let me view the screen as their camera showed all the cracks in our old drain pipe. They told me, in detail, what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. They reassured me that they would be very careful not to cut any irrigation lines, or our utility lines, which were running through the area they needed to dig. They also reassured me that they would put everything back in place so it would not look obvious that our lawn had been dug up. They showed up on time the day they were to begin the work. They had a large crew and lots of equipment. They used a sod cutter and peeled away the sod before they started to dig. They also had marked all the irrigation lines that were in the area. I had to leave to go to an appointment at 1:50 p.m. and things were still pretty torn up. When I returned home at 4:30 p.m., the sod was back in place, the crew and trucks were gone and I was amazed at how nice our lawn looked. I know they told me everything would look good when they were done but it looked much better than I had imagined. It rained the next day and the drain worked! Our sump pump water goes to the street again and our yard is no longer soggy. We are able to mow that part of our yard with our lawn mower again, even the day after a rain. A supervisor from Rain One came out a couple of days later and took a look around to inspect the work that had been done and make sure everything looked good. We were very happy with the whole experience in dealing with Rain One.

They showed up on the day scheduled, on time. They came in and did the work promptly. I have used Rain 1 for about 4 years for startup, winterization, and some valve repairs and have always had a good experience with them.

They were very experienced and professional. We were pleased with the work, but when they returned in the fall to shut off the system, they made some recommendations for additional changes that weren't done earlier. We will use them again.

Workers arrived on the day scheduled. All work was completed in one day except for the water hook up, had to be done by a plumber (separate contractor). Everyone was very professional and property was cleaned up when they left. They were back as scheduled to test and set up an irrigation schedule. I would certainly recommend Rain One to any of my friends and neighbors. As a matter of fact my next door neighbor is planning to have them install a system this year for him.
