I am very happy with their service. They are very responsive, they let me know what I need and they do good work. I have never had to take my car back for something that was not done right. They do not try to do work that is not needed and I would highly recommend them.

I have been there a couple times. I go about every 6 months or so. I have been using them since the beginning of 2014. What I like is that I don't need an appointment. You can just go in there for the oil change and the inspection. I can just drive there and they will do it and it takes about an hour and an hour and a half. I sort of like that. Thats similar to one of these drive through places, but since it is the dealer they should be able to inspect it better. The thing I like is it is similar, there is no appointment needed but since they are the dealer they should know more about the car. It takes about an hour, or an hour and a half. I think they are a little over priced.

As far as I know it has been okay. It was not cheap. That kind of service is fairly routine, unless somebody forgets to put the plug underneath for the oil. They were supposed to wash my car and they didn't. The price kind of threw me off; it was a little bit more expensive than I thought. I just got this car and it is more of a car than I have had in the past. I have not gone around comparing what an oil change would cost for that car. I am assuming they did a good job with quality. They are very professional. I purchased my car from there and I would recommend that somebody go there. They have a good setup. The service people are friendly and the way that they get you in for service is very good. Depending on how you have structured your purchase if you need to get a loaner you can get that, so I really like that.
Description of Work: I bought my car from Ganley Subaru. They have done work for my car, but only an oil change and tire rotation.

They do good work. They find extra things that don't need to be done. I've never had any trouble with the work that they've done. Their price is competitive. They are responsive and they stick to their appointments. I would not use them again.

It is usually easy to get an appointment. This time it was the same. You enter the facility and there is somebody who takes all your information. I was asked for additional service or any other issues. They told me that my car would be done by a certain time. Then I was waiting in the customer area. They have coffee and cookies for free. There is a computer to use for free with wifi. Ganley offers a free shuttle home or to work which is a great service. I prefered to wait. Unfortunately it took longer than expected, 45-60 min. They tell you beforehand what the service will be, they usually send out coupons for a 10% or 15% rebate if you are a customer there. Still it is not cheap, but it is a certified VW service and the work they perform is good. The staff is under a lot of pressure. They have to provide a special type of service and you always get a phone call or e-mail to rate the service. In order for them to get paid, it always have to be a 10 or a yes. If not, let's say you gave them a 9, you are getting phone calls from the manager asking you what was wrong, what they can do to make you satified. I do not like that at all, it is a game and you have no options. Otherwise you can always say and quot;If you are not doing this and that, you will not earn a 10and quot;. As a woman they treat me nicely. They take me serious, this is an exeption, not the rule. To sum it up it is a good experience and I can recommend Ganley in comparison to other VW service departments.

We paid $8000.00 and traded in a 1997 Ford Taurus with 43,000 miles. On the Saturday that we picked it up, we heard a grinding sound from the back end. We parked the car in the lawn until Monday when I called Ganley. They basically told us "too bad", and said we bought it as is. They eventually agreed to fix the differential. I find it hard to believe the car actually went through a 100 point inspection like they said and nobody noticed a bad differential. I had to pay $80 for an injector, Now I find out I need a new driveshaft that will cost me $290. I also have to have an electrical connection redone that will cost me $215. This isn't even considering the brakes and tune up it also needs. The 100-point inspection was never performed. I would advise you to avoid this company. They lie about their used care inventory.

Some of it was wear and tear, some of it was recall, and some of it was just normal maintenance. I didn’t have any problems at all. I like the guy at the counter there; he puts up with me asking a lot of questions because I am not very knowledgeable about cars. I ended up staying there for six hours even though they have cars that will take you wherever you need to go, and he gave me an update about once an hour.
Description of Work: I take my car to the dealership, Ganley Volkswagen. I needed an oil change, there was a recall on my car that I needed taken care of, some funky lights showed up on my dash which they fixed, and they replaced my rear brakes.

My experience with them has been fine. They flushed out the radiator and did whatever they had to do for a 60,000-mile service. I had a lot of work done. There were a couple of things that I needed to have done, which was not simple stuff, but after they had done the work, I realized that the issues were finally fixed. They did check out some other stuff too. I am very happy with them. They are responsive, and they do their work. They always tell me ahead of time what needs to be done. They don’t do the work without authorization - other companies used to try to do stuff like that. They are pricey because they are dealers. It is safe to go to somebody who works on Subaru vehicles and knows what the specifications are. They are reliable, and their customer service is extremely good. The guy who serviced our vehicle would call the next day and leave messages on an automated thing checking if our visit was satisfactory and to call him back personally if we had any questions; then they would follow up with a letter. I will go back to them in the future.

I first went in and was helped immediately by someone who went to get a salesperson for me. AJ Johnson came over and introduced himself. I told him what we had seen online, a Subaru Tribeca. He pulled the car around for my husband and I to take a test drive. We drove the car and wanted to sit down and talk about it. We had done months of research and had a notebook there. The discussion of price was mainly done by my husband and AJ since I am not as concerned about finance. My husband stated what he was looking to pay for monthly payments. We had a trade in that would pretty much be a wash and were also able to put some money down. Within 30 minutes we came to an agreement and were told to go over to the VW dealership next door to discuss financing. We were also greeted by a customer service rep who was very kind and offered us water, etc. We had our credits run and the individual there gave us our financing options which were much less than we expected. We went through our options, we received the keys and we were out the door in no time. They asked us to bring our trade in the next day which we did. All in all the exeperience was so pleasant and smooth! I do believe that if you are someone who has good credit and has a firm price you will have just as good of an experience. But, I thought the entire process was very smooth and the best experience I have had with a car dealership and salesperson. I would use them and would never hesitate to sing their praises to anyone.

My last unfortunate experience with Ganley Subaru Bedford was on July 3, 2010 when I used an internet coupon from Subaru for an oil change and a 19 point vehicle inspection, car wash, etc for $26.95 plus tax, etc. After leaving the dealership, I realized that I never received the 19 point vehicle inspection results as I had in the past. I called within the hour, and the service writer, Michael, promised that he would mail the 19 point vehicle inspection results. After approximately ten days passed without receiving the inspection results, I called and left a voice mail message for the service manager, Pete Spacagna. As usual, he never called back though the 19 point vehicle inspection results seemingly arrived by mail a few days later. After checking the results that they mailed, I realized they were actually the dealer copy (which is on yellow paper) of a past vehicle inspection dated February 22, 2010 instead of July 3, 2010. FYI, The customer copy of vehicle inspections is on white paper. Today is September 7, and I never received the results from them even though I complained to Subaru of America. Obviously, they never performed the 19 point vehicle inspection on July 3, 2010. In one previous incident (there are a few but I'll spare you), I waited in the Ganley Subaru Bedford customer area for almost one hour (for a 15 minute repair) when they told me that "they" ordered the wrong part, and I would have to return. They offered NO compensation or apology for my wasted time until Subaru of America contacted them. As of December 6, 2010, I still have not received the inspection results.

We went to the dealer knowing exactly what we wanted. We checked his inventory online. When we arrived the salesman said the cars we liked were sold. But there were others we would consider. The salesman refused to match the advertised discount at the Ganley westside store. He said that he had worked at that dealership at one time and that car probably never existed because they practice bate and switch. We were pressured to buy a car that night with lies such as "these are the only cars left in town and the Subaru factory incentives end at midnight". We ran from that dealership. The next morning I got on the phone and by 11:00 am. I was signing paperwork to buy a new Subaru Legacy SE at Brunswick Automall. The car had the same MSRP. as the Ganley cars but I paid $1000.00 less, got the exact color I wanted and received all the Subaru factory incentives and financing. So this is the way Tom Ganley does business. He'll fit right in in Washington.
