I called him at 2pm today to see if he could possibly come out today or early tomorrow after Sears cancelled on me at the last minute. My freezer stopped freezing the night before so I was livid that Sears cancelled after I set up an appointment last night. I found Allied Appliance Maintenance on Angies List at 2pm, left him a message, and he called me back within 15 minutes. He told me he would be out in 20 minutes. He showed up, checked to see what was wrong, made a phone call to determine the necessary part, went to his truck, got the part, and replaced it. The entire process took about 15 minutes. He was professional and explained everything in detail. I will definitely use him again in the future.

I liked it very much. He was professional, on time, fixed the problem quickly, and we have had no problems since then.

Woke up to find our freezer having some things melted. Left a message on Allied's voice mail and received a call back from Matt within 10 minutes. He told me he could be at our house by 9:30, showed up promptly and very quickly diagnosed the issue. He needed a part and had hi dad pick it up for him while he was on another call and returned by 2:00 as agreed to to complete the repair. He was extremely professional, courteous and friendly answering all of my many questions. I would recommend them and definitely use them again.

Another great experience with Allied. Called Matt at 8:30 and he was in my kitchen by 9:10. Diagnosed, repaired (including parts), cleaned up after himself and was out the door by 10:20. Can't recommend them enough!

The start button on my dryer had snapped off. He knew exactly what needed to be replaced just from a phone conversation. The part was replaced with no fuss ~ and he gave me some great solvent for cleaning the dishwasher gratis! I'll be sure to use Allied Appliance again.

We figured a seal wasn't working properly. The tech concurred when we spoke on the phone. When he arrived (exactly on time), he had the appropriate part with him and fixed the problem in under half an hour. He spread a blanket down to protect the floor where he was working and also used towels to keep any water or moisture from getting on the floor. He also gave me tips on care and maintenance of other appliances in the kitchen. When I mentioned that one of the light bulbs in the refrigerator was out as well and asked if he could replace it, he went right out to his truck and found the replacement bulb I needed and installed it. The latter was really important as the bulb was located in a very awkward area to access inside the unit. I would definitely recommend his services, and I would definitely call him again if I need any other appliance repair work.

My Maytag washer was acting up and I gave them a call. The nice gentlemen said he'd stop on by in about an hour and a half (!) to take a look at it. He showed up promptly, spent some time working on it, and gave me the bad news... my washer was pretty much a total loss, due to the transmission. When I asked him what I owed him for his trouble, he said, "No charge." I thanked him profusely and saw him out. I can now put that service call money towards the purchase of my new washer!

The refrigerator started to give off a hot smell .After checking I found that the condensor fan was not running. I had not cleaned under the refrigerator in some time ,which I did. This got the fan running again only until the next time it turned on. The next morning I called Allied Appliance Maintainance at 8:30am .They returned the call a short time late and asked what it was doing. By noon they were out with the part that they thought was the problem . They removed and replaced the fan and then adjusted the door seals which had shifted over the years.

Replaced defrost thermostat in freezer compartment. Found higher quality but less expensive replacement part. Thawed out coils behind freezer compartment. Very professional and friendly. Came to our house at promised time.

He explained to me what happened and educated me on how the dishwasher works (mechanically speaking) and what to do to get rid of residual soap in the dishwasher. He checked out the other appliances in the house and was very clean and tidy. I've recommended him to friends and neighbors and would definitely use him again.

Matt set me up with an appointment within 24 hours of my calling. He was able to accomodate an end of time so that I would only have to get out of work early. He was five minutes late, and called me prior to tell me so. He quickly replaced the refrigerator part that was leaking, tested it, and took great care cleaning up and cleaning the fridge surface that is normally recessed in the wall. He took great care when moving the fridge out to protect the flooring.

Matt arrived on time, was responsive to questions, explained what the problem was, stated what he had done to fix it, and was concerned about neatness and cleanliness. Very professional.

He carries his cell phone so if you call you talk directly to the repair man. He grandfather and his father were both repairmen so he really knows his business. I once asked him about stoves and he told me that I could call him if I had questions about appliances. He said I could call when I was looking and he would tell me how many service calls he’s gotten for the particular brands. He was really nice and really good to deal with. I don’t know what other companies charge so I don’t know about the price, but he did the work so it was fine.

We had a very good experience with Matt of Allied Applied. Without even asking him he checked our dishwasher and gave me several maintenance tips. He was very helpful and personable.

Matt arrived on time, was respectful of our property, friendly, and professional. In addition to fixing our problem, he also provided me with helpful hints to get the most out of our current machines.

Diagnosed problem over phone. Arrived exactly on time, confirmed diagnosis, peformed work, cleaned up, gave advice on another faulty refridgeratoir and was gone in fifty minutes. Service call was $48 and labor was $40. I was well pleased.

The fridge stopped working Wednesday evening; I called Matt on Thursday afternoon (after having tried to get an immediate appointment with 2 other companies. Matt said he would try to get over soon, since he knew how difficult it was to lose use of the fridge and freezer. He came within 2 hours, knew exactly what to look for, located the problem, fixed it, and even did some preventive maintenance to ensure optimal future performance. He was very knowledgeable and very efficient. I will definitely use this service for any appliance repairs.

Matt returned my initial call very quickly. He gave me a few dates and times to choose from for the service call. He explained how the dishwasher operates and why I was having the problem. He showed me the proper way to use the soap (sometimes the operators manual isn't the best resource) and gave me advice on what type of soap to buy and from what store. He was punctual, professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely call Matt when another appliance needs attention.

Matt did exactly what he had advised me the previous day: he called on the time designated to confirm arrival and arrived at the time he indicated. I didn't have to wait, call him or be frustrated for any other reason. He promptly fixed the oven. While he was repairing the oven, I recalled that the light in the microwave didn't work. I asked if he could repair that and he agreed without hesitation. This is a service provider you want to know and use. A+ recommendation. I will use him again and recommend exclusively.

My 10 year old top load kenmore washing machine quit working-no draining or spinning, which I found out about when I got home, so called Allied Appliance first thing next morning. Caught the repairman pulling into his first job not far from my home, explained to him the problem over the phone, and he said he'd be over right after. He arrived within 1.5 hrs and quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me the breakdown of costs, and repaired my washing machine/replaced the lid sensor on the spot.

He arrived on-time and was very professional and friendly. He completed and tested his repair; unfortunately, there was another leak we did not see during the test. He returned the next day and repaired that leak free of charge. Highly recommended, and I would not hesitate to use his services again.

The whole repair process went very well. After having these problems with the dishwasher for more than a month I finally called Allied Appliance on Saturday, April 24, 2010 and spoke to Matt, the owner. He was able to set up an appointment to repair my dishwasher the following Monday, April 26, 2010 at 1 PM. Exactly at One o'clock Matt was at my front door, right on time. Within a few minutes he determined that a cable had broken inside the door and, thus, the door dropped down when opened instead of slowly lowering. He also determined that because of the age of the dishwasher, 24 years, the door hinges had bent somewhat over the years, which added to the problem. He replaced the cable and then did the best he could to straighten the hinges. Overall, when he had finished that part of the repair the door opened slowly as it should and did not drop down. The door still is slightly below horizontal when opened because the hinges could not be fully straightened. But the lower dish tray rolls out onto the door when it is open with no problem. It will never be as good as new but it does the job. Matt then tackled the cleaning problem, or I should say the “lack of cleaning” problem. He found no major problem with the dishwasher but found that because of it’s age a lot of debris had accumulated over the years, especially in the dishwasher’s drain. So he did a major “housecleaning” of the dishwasher. Now my dishwasher does seem to be cleaning better but obviously it’s time for me to buy a new dishwasher.

We called in the late morning and he came to repair the washer in the late afternoon. Great price. Very professional..and would highly recommend to all my good friends. A plus plus.

The repair went very well. I called Allied Appliance prior to their opening time of 8:30 AM and left a voice mail describing the problem I was having with my 23-year old GE refrigerator. At 8:35 AM Matt called me and said he could be at my place about 10 AM. He actually got there at 9:30 AM, less than an hour after I talked to him. Within 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem and within a 1/2 hour or so repaired my refrigerator. It is now a day later and it's working just fine. Had it not been repaired promptly I could have lost a lot of food.
