He is quick and very efficient. He doesn’t overcharge and his pricing is very reasonable. He also gives hints and tips on how to keep the appliances working longer and explains things very well. The quality of his work is good and I have been satisfied with his service.

He came out and helped me to determine that the leak was coming from the refrigerator and not the sink like I thought. I used to have an ice maker in my refrigerator and my husband removed it a while back. Someone hit the button to stop the water from going into the ice maker and it began leaking. Before I had realized it there was a solid sheet of ice on the back on my refrigerator and it was leaking onto the floor. He came right out and knew what the problem was right away. He cleaned everything up for me. While he was out I mentioned that I needed a new stove and when he left he gave me his cell phone number and he told me that he always has his cell phone on him. He gave the number to me and told me to call him so that he could give me feedback about what he repairs often and offer some suggestions. I was very pleased with the information that he was able to provide me with. He spent a couple of hours at my house and I thought that the service was really cheap.

He was prompt courteous, professional and his prices were reasonable. He explained everything very carefully. He responded within a day and we found him excellent in every way. I would use him again.

Matt took my call on a Wednesday after I had just received a quote from Sears of $330 who made me wait on an full day appointment. Obviously I refused the service. I spoke to Matt and he diagnosed the problem over the phone. He told me he could be at my house the next day between 12:30pm and 1:00pm. He arrived right on time and fixed the ice maker within the hour. It's working great!

They are wonderful. If they can't fix it they tell you the truth. They also let you know when you're better off buying something new. They are punctual, reliable, and honest and I can't say enough good things about them.

There were two service calls. On the first call, Matt came out and made the repair that was the most logical and least expensive. Because it takes a while to see if an ice maker is going to work, he told me to call in a day or so if it wasn't making ice cubes properly, that he had a 30-day guarantee and I wouldn't be charged for another service call if he had to come out again. The problem persisted so I called him again and he returned. This time he replaced a part and again told me to call if the problem persisted. There was no need as the repair was successful. He billed me only for the new part installed. Matt could have sold me a new ice maker but he didn't. Instead he took the time to figure out what was wrong with the one I have which cost me considerably less money. The unit is working beautifully now. He brought in his vacuum cleaner and cleaned in back and under the refrigerator while it was pulled out for the repair. He was prompt, responsive, explained things, and knew what he was doing. I will definitely call him again.

Matt explained what he was going to do and then showed me the results for everything that he inspected. Additionally, Matt is a wealth of information. While he was testing the dryer's heating functionality, he encouraged me to ask questions about the washer, dryer, refrigerator, and dishwasher. He gave me tips for basic maintenance, cleaning, and functionality of all these large appliances. He is also dispelled various myths propagated by morning news shows.

My 1995 Maytag diswasher top spray arm fell off after a wash cycle. I called Matt and left a message describing the problem and giving him the model number. Within 5 minutes he called back and set up a visit for the next morning. Soap accumulation caused the sprayer arm holes to clog. He cleaned the arm, replaced the attachment part, took apart the filter, cleaned the screen, and instructed us so that we could perform the maintenance to prevent the soap buildup. He ran a cycle with a cleaning product and used a steamer to flush out the water line feeding the top spray arm. He answered all our questions and gave us tips on the type of soap to use and how to choose dishwasher soap (shake the box to make sure the soap has not caked while sitting on the store shelf). He spent about 1 hr and 10 minutes cleaning and testing the dishwasher. We are happy to have found Matt through Westside Maytag, where we bought our dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, and washing machine. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our washer, came within a half hour of our call, and made the repair. My washer had stopped with a full tub of water and soap. A safety switch that stops the spinning itub f the door is opened was the culprit. He had one in his truck and got my washer going within the hour that it stopppe. We have called him ever since.

Matt was very prompt, professional and courteous. His work was excellent. He repaired the refrigerator that needed a part which he had. He removed and cleaned the filter screen in the dishwasher. He took the time to show us how to do it ourselves so we wouldn't have to call and pay for a repairman! He also repaired the handle on the freezer door. He charged $40 for labor for the work he did. The balance was for the part which was expected. I had called another company in Elyria earlier and was told immediately that there would be a $99.50 fee for coming to the house and $15.00 for each additional appliance.

He arrived right on time and installed the new control panel. While he waited for the oven to heat to be sure that the thermostat was working accurately, he cleaned the dust and dog hair off my refrigerator condenser coil. ("You're paying for my time; I might as well be doing this instead of just standing here.").

Allied Appliance Repair is a small, family owned business. They are all very nice people to work with. They are always there when they say they will be, and their prices are very good. He doesn't upcharge on parts. In my case, there was a really complicated problem with my ice maker, and he stuck with it through everything for three weeks and didn't charge me for all of the service calls. He even called back to check in the other day.

The refrigerator would not stay cold. Matt diagnosed the problem quickly, replaced the faulty part, cleaned up and was finished in about 30 minutes.

He recommended just a new washer and told us where to go to find one and that we should not pay a lot of money for a new one.

Went very well and he came right away which was great as you didn't want to lose the food in the refrigerator.

Wow. I've never had such quick service. I called Allied around 10 a.m. and he was at my house at 1:30 p.m. same day because he had another job around the corner. He checked and found the problem, fixed the dishwasher, then oiled a few other parts and did a maintenance check (at my request, since he was already here). Allied is very professional and very knowledgeable. He worked clean and quickly and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I was really concerned this would be a huge, expensive repair and it ended up being very minor. He also showed me what to check for next time I had a problem. Will definitely call Allied again, and will definitely recommend him to friends and neighbors.

John arrived promptly and I was able to save the food in freezer. Work was completed in about an hour. John was efficient and professional.

MATT WAS VERY SYMPATHETIC TO MY SITUATION AND WAS ABLE TO WORK WITH MY SCHEDULE AND COME OUT AS HIS LAST CALL OF THE DAY ON MONDAY. WHEN HE CAME HE DID SOME CLEANING AND THEN PLUGGED THE REFRIGERATOR BACK IN. THE REFRIGERATOR BEGAN TO WORK. HE CHECKED THE COILS AND REPLACED A BULB WHICH HAD BURNED OUT. ALTHOUGH HE WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE A CAUSE, HE MADE A FEW SUGGESTIONS AND SAID IF IT QUIT WORKING TO LET HIM KNOW AND HE WOULD NOT CHARGE FOR A SERVICE CALL FOR 30 DAYS. IT HAS HAS NOT QUIT YET.
