I hired Richard and Leslie to paint several rooms in my condo including a few ceilings that needed some patching too. They were professional, honest, available, and helpful with planning and completing the project. They also were very considerate of my schedule, and courteous of the fact that I work from home. I hired R&D to paint 7 interior rooms in my new house where the walls were previously drab contractor beige. Rick and Leslie are a two-person operation with 20+ years experience. They are so nice, very honest, forthright, and down-to-earth. They responded to my request for an estimate very quickly and started immediately once I hired them (the week of Xmas 2020, no less!). Our house has been completely transformed and we couldn't be happier with the results! I highly recommend R&D for any painting needs! If you want to help small business (a literal mom and pop business, no less!), place R&D at the top of the list when considering painters. To address a criticism that I spotted in another review -- keep in mind that the painting process takes time, as doing a good job (i.e., doing the job correctly) isn't as simple as throwing a coat of paint on the wall and calling it a day. Things need taped, sanded, sealed, and of course, paint needs to dry before applying another coat. Trim takes a whole day by itself, almost! Be patient if you're hiring them for a large job like I did. Oh, and since this review is being written during a pandemic, it should be noted that they always wear their face masks and keep a respectful distance.

I hired R & D painting to paint some of my interior windows. I canâ t recommend this company enough. They were friendly, professional, accommodating and hands down the most reasonable. They have been in the painting business for over 40 years. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Very pleased with their work. They painted 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, and a large stairway and hall. I would hire them again.

Hired them to paint the concrete walls of my basement. It was a huge job and they finished in two days, cleaned up like they were never there, and at a lower price than they other estimates I received. I will definitely be calling them for my next painting project.

Don't hire them , only would stay a couple hours a day , find exactly what they consider a work day , had a detailed plan that i emailed them and they got the colors wrong in my bathroom . They didn't pay attention at all to my very detailed plan.

They painted trim, two bedrooms, two ceilings, a bathroom, kitchen, stairwell, and basement for me. Besides a few touch-ups o had to do in the basement I was very pleased with their work!
