Lou and his son Nick did a thorough inspection of the house we are buying. A lot of home inspectors don't check the roofs personally anymore, they use a drone. But Lou definitely climbed the roof. I appreciated him explaining the ins and outs of the house to me. I felt like I was getting a tutorial on the house we were getting. Thank you Lou!

Lou Rubino was absolutely fantastic. He was diligent and extremely detail oriented in his inspection. His report was thorough and was easy to navigate and understand. We have purchased the house since and lived here for a few months and we have been tracking that any issue that came up since we moved in - was identified as an issue area by Lou during inspection. Above all that, we called him for some consultation recently and he took our call and gave us some great advice - months after he completed the inspection for us.

Louis was so professional and thorough giving me great advice every step of the inspection! Even after giving me his detailed findings in person, his report that emailed me the same day was impeccable! And he didn’t leave it at that! Lou and his son did an incredibly thorough job inspecting a potential purchase for my family. They showed up early and had basically finished the exterior inspection before we even arrived. No stone was left unturned, and Lou even emptied an entire closet that was packed to the gills to make sure that some systems in the back were up to par, even though it all looked okay from a distance. Not only do I feel completely comfortable about going to contract thanks to Lou, I also learned a lot in the process. Hoping not to have to buy another house anytime soon, but whenever the day comes, Lou will be my first call without a doubt.

Lou was wonderful! Incredibly thorough, and spoke to us the whole time about what he was doing and what he was seeing. Report ended up being 83 pages including dozens of pictures. He finished the inspection at 2pm and we had the report at 10pm that same night. Would highly recommend! I now know every single little thing that could possibly need updating on this house over the next few years and can purchase with a full budget in mind.

Excellent inspector, very thorough, and not afraid to dig below the surface to see what might be hiding. Definitely a good guy to have on hand for looking at an old Brooklyn building. If you're into history and engineering, he's also got a lot of knowledge about why things the are the way they are in different types of buildings from different eras. Very interesting to talk to.

Everything was amazing, from the inspection to the detailed report, Lou is the best. He went through the entire home from top to bottom. His attention to detail helped us save a bunch of money! Lou arrived early and survey the exterior. When he went up on the roof in no time, the estate agents agents smirked that no one does this since you can use drones. Well I doubt drone would be able to see the issue with the chimney and the cracked flue pipe, and the layer of roofing. I was able to negotiate with the seller for a credit of $3000! Lou spent at another 2 hours going through the house in great detail, answer all my questions with vast depth of knowledge and impress us reading tiny fonts in the dim basement. We got the report in the same day, we are confident he found all the issues of the house, thank you! Tommy

Lou was punctual, thorough, patient, and focused. When he literally crawled through the crawl space, the owner commented that he'd never seen an inspector do that. I don't know much about home repairs having grown up renting in Queens, but he took the time to patiently respond to all of my questions, and anticipate the questions I didn't even know I was supposed to ask. I highly recommend his services.

He examined all of the heat, gas, and electricity rooms and setup in great detail; performed a comprehensive evaluation of the condition of all of these components within the apartment; and made sure to point out any issues or concerns to us in person. After the inspection was completed, we received a very detailed report with clearly marked photos, and he continued to be available by phone and email to clarify any remaining questions we might have. I just want to start by saying that Lou is the man! He is down to earth and treats you as if you are a part of his family. His knowledge when it comes to home inspections is leaps and bounds over the competition. He is extremely meticulous and goes through every part of the home with a fine tooth comb. He picks up on and sees things that other home inspectors might miss. He breaks things down to a basic level of understanding so that you know exactly where any faults may lie. He then gives you the solution to fix those problems. He just doesn’t focus on the bad things and problems with a home. He points out all the good things in the home you are about to purchase and makes you feel completely at ease. He is quick and efficient and will get you your report within the day.
