A flier was left in my door on Sunday, I called on Monday. Rep. Mike came to the house on Monday afternoon. Said he could do the three rugs for the same price advertised for Living rm./Dining area/Hall combo of $95.00. When I explained that one rug (6x9) was badly stained with dog urine and that there were spots on the other two, I was told that he would put a special treatment on the rugs that cost $100.00. I was not interested in doing that mainly because two of the rugs the 7.10x7.10 and the 8x10 were not that bad and the 6x9 I was considering getting rid of. So he then offered doing it for $50.00 additional. I went with this. He took the rugs and said he would have them by Thursday. I did say there was no hurry on them. Thursday night late I got a call saying the rugs would be ready on Friday but it would be about 7pm. That was OK with me. The rugs arrived on Friday delivered by the owner and another worker. I paid cash and they left. On Saturday I noted a sickening smell from the rugs and when I opened the square rug I noticed it was not dry. I opened all three rugs, one in the house and two in the garage to allow them to dry and air out. On Monday I called and left a message. On Wednesday I called again. When I arrived home on Wednesday I had 4 messages left by Kathy telling me that Mike was not a full time employee and I would need to contact him at his other job. She gave me two numbers to call him at. I called and left a message. On the July 30th I get a call from Mike, he was on vacation, explaining that the smell was because the chemical was working on the urine and therefore it would continue. The square carpet and the 8x10 are down in the house and do not smell as much to me. The 6x9 is still in the garage. The rugs look clean, they are nylon so they did not shrink. I still feel that the square rug has a feel like something was not rinsed.
