Description of Work: I needed a new motor/driver to open one of my garage doors in a 2 car garage. Excellent work was done by the owner. He explained what the problem was and his proposal to replace the driver/motor. He offered me a good price, available at the time from the driver company, to change out both drivers and bring everything up to speed. He explained my options as far as motors went...price = quieter, etc. This allowed me to make an informed decision. He also adjusted and lubricated the garage doors. Installation was done as described and on time. I am very happy with this provider and recommend him highly.

 + -1 moreJohn was running late due to circumstances beyond his control; he CALLED me to let me know that and offered to come another day, or come later in the day, whichever was good for me. When he arrived he was all set to go- knew exactly what he was doing, worked steadily to get it done. Very friendly, very professional and very competent. I would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: I just needed a new garage door opener, not new doors. He installed the opener, greased the existing mechanism, checked it all out when he was done.

He also suggested the use of a special lubricant to keep the door operating smoothly. Completed wrok in less than a half hour. Guaranteed the work and said he would come by the end of any day he was contacted.

He came the morning of a significant snowstorm and had everying installed in about 3-4 hours, as promised. The doors look and work great, I would definitely recommend Capital Overhead Doors to anyone else looking for the same service.

Replaced the spring, adjusted the cables, and oiled the hinges in about half an hour. Very professional, friendly and prompt. Highly recommended.

 + -1 moreI contacted John last a week ago and he came as scheduled, diagnosed and fixed the doors right on the spot. He carries lots of materials for that kind of work on his panel truck.
Description of Work: The garage doors are old, made of wood but in good shape, however, one door wouldn't open at all and the other with great difficulty and wouldn't stay up without being propped. John replaced 3 cables, 3 bottom corner plates, 3 springs, and oiled both doors. It took about an hour and a half.
