Long story short: work went over schedule because too few men assigned and they arrived late; the painters had a limited ability to communicate with me in English, the workmanship was sloppy (drips on the floor, colored paint "bleeding" into white areas, bottom edge of the borders peeling away from the walls); and we subsequently learned from an electrician who came on another matter that the master bedroom fixture was improperly, perhaps even dangerously, installed. WORST THING: Although he said he'd put the credit card charge thru AFTER the job was done, Mr. Bindela put thru a charge for a different amount than his estimate reflected, TWO DAYS BEFORE work COMMENCED, and to another business entity of his (a pizza parlor, evidently!) and when I saw my statement online, I thought my identity had been stolen, so I had no choice but to cancel the credit card and put the charge in dispute. Then he started bugging me for payment, while I was awaiting a new credit card!
Description of Work: A two-day window to paint walls and ceilings of an 1100-ft, 2 bedroom/2bath post-war condo we'd just purchased, put up a wallpaper border in each bedroom, and replace a light fixture in each bedroom with ones of my choosing.
