I checked my records and we did not perform any cleaning services on May 5, 2013 as it falls on a Sunday and we do not provide service on Sundays. 2) We have no record of cleaning a home at this Penfield address."

"This person never called me back to confirm the appointment (I recall she was in the middle of purchasing the home when we spoke last and it hadn't closed). When she called me on the alleged day of cleaning, I immediately called my cleaners to send someone over as there was an obvious miscommunication. I called her back to let her know I had a cleaner to send over but the woman did not answer her phone."

"As I explained to this client, initial cleanings are always the toughest. We never know what we're getting into; and if the home has not been professionally cleaned, it takes much more time and elbow grease. My 3 cleaners spent a little over 15 hours total in the home working non-stop. As with all new jobs, we occasionally miss something and generally, anything we miss during the first go-around we catch the next time. The client had told me how problematic it had been to keep her kitchen floors clean because of its texture and she even commented about the "inability for it to ever look clean". I discussed the issue with my cleaners prior to our visit and they worked very hard on the floor, having to go over it several times. Flooring that has that type of texture with dimples and such really needs to be hand scrubbed several times with a stiff brush to get into all of the crevices, and using hot soapy water and/or a degreaser and then rinsing several times. We are unable to provide that in-depth floor cleaning because of the length of time it would take and I do not expect my professional cleaners to be on their hands and knees. I checked with my cleaner who attended to her shower stall (I think this was the one the client said had the rough shower doors) and due to the severe amount of build up on the tiles and doors, we had to go over it three times. My cleaner commended that the tiles were rough and I told the client that if they are old and/or worn down, perhaps she needed something stronger such as bleach or lime away. Because we are a green company we do not use those harsh chemicals; however, all of our products are highly effective on normal cleaning jobs. I did assure the client that her shower stall, and all of the bathrooms had been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to the best of our ability. I went to the home to inspect things at the end of the cleaning and was pleased with the excellent work performed as always by my cleaners. I brought a few things to the client's attention since she hadn't mentioned them in her email to me or comments here. I was impressed that her stove, which was in extremely bad condition with nearly 1/2 inch grease buildup in the trays, really sparkled after my cleaner had disassembled the racks and drawers and worked on it for over an hour. We generally clean the exterior only on appliances unless a special request is made in advance but we made an exception this time. There was an over-abundance of fingerprints and smudges on the walls, light switches and doors, which is understandable with three small children in the home, but we cleaned all that could be removed which really made a difference. I also had the girls clean the interior of her windows which is never part of an initial cleaning as was the thorough cleaning of their large sunroom including all of the appliances in there (sink, fridge). This service we provided as added value. We used an great deal of our green products on her home and finished the job off with a lovely aromatherapy treatment. We also left chocolates. So, you can imagine the disappointment we all felt when this client didn't recognize the terrific value she received using our high end professional service."
