I called last week and spoke with Shane a couple of times and scheduled an on site estimate for this morning. Shane told me who would be coming and I received a call from Kieran (sp?) yesterday confirming the appointment. He arrived right on time, was friendly, warm and open. He was unintrusive and respectful of the fact this is my home. He asked questions, looked around and gave me what feels like honest information about the potential move. I would have signed on right away, because I had a really good feeling about the people representing the company, and based on the many positive reviews on this site, but I had another mover coming this afternoon for the last of 3 estimates. The first estimate was over the phone. The third and final this afternoon was very unpleasant. I called Redline's office as soon as I knew I would contract with them, and again spoke with Shane, who put me in their schedule. Both Shane and Kieran are professional and friendly. I feel good about the upcoming move and look forward to writing a very positive review after the fact.

They staff is down to earth and caring people. They are amazing, friendly and they put your mind at ease. They are on time, clean, thorough and nothing broke.

Simon and the crew were fabulous. The job took much longer than estimated but the guys were great. Not a scratch or break among 50+ boxes and their positive attitude never waned. I highly recommend this company - made a difficult move smooth - exceeded all my expectations.

These guys were really terrific: fast, courteous, and came in under their estimate. I would highly recommend Redline to any of my friends or family. They made a very stressful day (i.e. moving) go as smoothly as we could have wished for.

As everyone says, these guys are professionals. Keiran came by to provide a quote 24 hours after my call; and he and Shane were extremely patient as my dates changed. On the day of the move, they were on time, and made the decision to move everything by dolly, without using the truck. This must have been exhausting, but they retained good cheer and speed throughout the morning. TJ, Mike, Kenny and Jasmin were all focused, kind, and easy to spend time with. They made sure things were wrapped, packed, taped, and moved - and never complained about the drizzle outside, the stairs, the elevators, or anything else. Highly recommended.

RedLine Moving did an amazing job. Shane was great to work with in getting a price quote. Once I decided to go with RedLine, Shane and came out to my co-op to confirm pricing. TJ's team showed up on moving day and they were awesome! They were prompt, courteous, professional and did a great job wrapping all furniture and packing up any little odds and ends that needed to be protected. Nothing was broken during the move. I moved from a co-op building in LI to a residential home. Getting movers that understand all of the moving parts and parameters of a co-op and dealing with an elevator is not easy, but this company was phenominal. They handled everything with co-op's management company and it was all seamless to me. I would highly recommend RedLine Moving and I will defintitely use them again for future moves.

We had a great experience from the get go. We were visited by Kieren to make a proper room by room assessment of what was needed to move. He was extremely friendly and knowledgable and explained step by step how this was gonna happen. He had a lot of knowledge about moving and giving us honest estimates of time and knew how many boxes would fit in a truck along with furniture. We received the quote the next day and to be honest the reason why we did finally choose RedLine is because as any consumer we had estimates from other big name companies they also came to assess but just walked in didn't say much didn't ask questions and flashed us with their shiny folders of glossy brochures. Redline gave us the information we needed as well as a full list of people who used them prior and all pertinent information about our move, what is needed to do before a move as well as information about insurance and what they were responsible and not responsible for. They do not put on this flashy vibe they are just really good hard workers. The morning of our move we were greeted by "TJ's CREW" it went as scheduled they were fully prepared with extra boxes and extra packing boxes for mirrors and wardrobe boxes. Our bedroom set dismantling and packing was carefully executed by them especially that they made sure we did a special walk thru and pointed out any dents scratches that were already there were even cool about taking any photo before they blanket and seal wrapped our furniture. This process was the same with the rest of our childs bedroom furniture, living and dining room. They extra wrapped mirrors and any pictures we had. There were 6 guys that came all introduced themselves and were very friendly and tough enough to work. They knew exatly what they needed to do. The loading went as planned and the final unloading to our apt went just as well. Our building has a 5:00pm cut off and they adhered exactly to that time limit even with a short Pizza break that I supplied in between. They were very gracious, funny, strong and courteous. We had a very good experience with them and I would refer them to friends or family. This crew was very hard working, and down to our last box and not a single thing broken, cracked or missing. Thank You Redline !!

They wrapped all furniture, carefully covered and secured all items with glass in moving blankets and cardboard. When ready to move an item they worked as a team so everyone knew where there was glass on the item . The furniture was secured in the moving blankets and they staged the items so some of the movers were moving items into the elevator and into the truck while the rest was being wrapped. Very efficient ! All of TJ's crew were very friendly and polite. Would recommend this company and crew. Service was for my daughter's move from Staten Island to New Jersey.

Redline was very professional, friendly and spent more time on our job than expectated. TJ and his 5-man crew spent a full 12 hour day in assisting with the final packing of our apartment and carefully moving everything to our final destination. They were very well prepared for our move, supplying extra materials. One item was damaged, though the broken part had had previous repairs and was understandably fragile with any movement. Redline did attempt to repair it, which we appreciated. There was also some damage done to an exit sign in the hallway of our building in the process and Redline readily reimbursed us for the repair. It was very pleasant dealing with Kieran in the initial bidding and move assessment process. Shane was great on processing the final details after our move.

Received an estimate and it was fair considering that they were coming from a long distance away, which I did not know until the representative was at my apartment.

I reached out to the company for an estimate on the move, and Kieran came over to my apartment one night after I got back from work to assess the situation. He was polite, friendly, and funny, and quite thorough. He calculated the approximate number of moving boxes that would be required and weight of all items, and said that he would send me a written estimate via email. I received the email shortly thereafter, which estimated $838 for the move, with a cap of $990 (so if there was traffic, for example, I would not have to pay more than $990 regardless of how many hours it took). This was for 4 movers at a rate of $150/hr. I decided to proceed with Redline, but my move was delayed repeatedly due to renovations on my new apartment. Redline was very understanding, but unfortunately by the time I had a firmer date my ideal move-in date was already booked by someone else (apparently the last week of the month fills up fast!). I spoke with Shane and agreed upon a date a few days earlier than I'd intended, and he also provided a certificate of insurance (which is required by the management company for my co-op). The day before the move I texted Redline to make a last minute request; I couldn't find a box (among the gazillion boxes I had) that was the right size for my printer, so I asked if they could pack it for me, which they happily agreed to do. The day of the move, the team showed up right on time, at 9AM, and immediately got cracking. TJ's crew was FANTASTIC. They were quick, efficient, and took all precautions necessary to ensure that my things didn't get damaged. They worked together seamlessly, disassembling furniture when needed, and wrapping it in blankets. Three wardrobe boxes were provided free of charge for my hanging clothes. Within two hours, everything was loaded up in the truck, and TJ had me look through the apartment to make sure everything that was meant to be moved had been moved. I signed some paperwork confirming that they got everything, and TJ let me know that gratuity is not required at all, but it is appreciated if I'm happy with the way they handled the move. And off we went! I got to my new apartment before they did (since the truck couldn't take the same route as the car), but they were not far behind. Redline coordinated with the super of my new building, and moved everything in fast and skillfully. They were cheerful and friendly, and very accommodating. One of the crew members even attached my headboard to my bedframe for me, even though they had not disassembled it? or indeed, even moved the headboard themselves! (I had shipped the headboard to the new apartment in advance.) All furniture that needed to be put back together was reassembled, and the team wrapped the job by 1:30PM. The whole move, including travel time, took four and a half hours. TJ gave me some more paperwork to sign, confirming that everything was there and that the job was completed, along with the final price (which included the few extra boxes they packed for me, like the printer). It came to $910, and was worth every penny. I gave them a 20% tip, which I felt they had definitely deserved. All in all, I would say the best word to describe Redline would be "phenomenal". I would recommend them to anyone unreservedly.

It all went off without a hitch. We used "T.J.'s Crew" and they were on-time, efficient and flexible! The move couldn't have gone more smoothly!

This is the second time I have used Redline. Redline moved us from our previous apartment to our new home last April. They are that good and deserve our return business. We had furniture to move at three different locations and we called Redline first. We were able to schedule at date very quickly to make this move happen. The day turned out to be full of snow (what a winter) but Redline was as close to on time as we could have expected with the conditions having called to say they were 15 minutes out. This is just good customer service. The move was smooth, uneventful and well done. The furniture was covered, padded and moved quickly at all locations. I posted the first time how professional and personable Redline staff is and though I did not know this crew they were the same kind of professionals. We highly recommend this moving company.

A representative from the company visited my apartment several days before the scheduled move to give us a binding estimate. This is a great service in the world of moving, as quotes tend to hit well below the actual mark, and you end up spending way more than you planned, and no one likes that feeling. Our quote was a bit on the high end, but the movers were punctual and thorough. My only minor complaints would be that we had some light scratches on some of our furniture, and that we were charged for wardrobe boxes, which we were never informed of until the very end of the move. Also, with four movers, the move seemed to take a little bit longer than it should have. Our final price ended up being the max of the estimate, which was rather high , but still below what the un-estimated bill would have been. Still, Redline was mostly very upfront with the cost, and nothing if not reliable and professional throughout the process, which are tough traits to come across in a company in this industry.

"Phenomenal" doesn't begin to describe how amazing Redline was with our move. Moving is stressful. In the past, we've hired friendly but clumsy movers, as well as effective but rude movers. We wanted a company that would be responsive and attentive to our questions and needs, and also incredibly efficient and careful. We found all of these qualities with Redline. There were some companies we researched where you would either submit your inventory online or call them and give them a rough number of items you needed to move. Shortly after we called Redline, Kieran (co-owner) showed up at our apartment to assess our furniture and boxes, and had an estimate to us by the end of the evening. I should note that his estimate came in at significantly cheaper than the other two companies we received estimates from; I was almost concerned that Kieran hadn't assessed properly or that we were cutting a corner somewhere, but this turned out not to be the case. Before the move, both Kieran and Shane were extremely responsive to my calls and e-mails, responding to me within two hours. The movers showed up at our apartment ten minutes early. Never had THAT happen before! Simon led the crew, consisting of Mike, Si and TJ. Shortly afterwards, Kieran showed up -- one of the guys had called in sick, and Kieran didn't feel right leaving his crew down a person. All five immediately got to work. The team worked together seamlessly, taking time to carefully wrap our valuables to ensure they wouldn't break or get scratched. They also took the time to pack up our odds and ends into other boxes that they brought with them. I'd say we were about 80% prepared when they showed up, but they easily took care of the remaining 20% for us. Perhaps the best part of using Redline is that the entire crew are genuinely nice and funny people. Simon and Kieran have a great relationship, relentlessly teasing each other as they worked. They would take time to chat with us and engage in conversation, yet never allowed it to get in the way of getting the job done. After about seven hours at our apartment (the job took longer due to the ice on the ground), they made the drive to Long Island, and were just as efficient in unloading. They patiently put every single box in the location we requested (be it upstairs or in the basement), even when we were deciding right on the spot, and put cribs, tables and desks back together exactly the way they took them apart. They never once seemed even tired and were cheerful from start to finish. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Our move was a moving target and Redline always said, "Yes, we can handle it", and they did. The move was planned, postponed, address changed, date moved up, shifted back for emergency work on the house. The guys were great. We ended up with ten days to complete packing and were still working on wall hangings and deep closets when they arrived. They were worked around us and with us patiently, calmly, it helped. Their ability to move large pieces out of tight places was amazing. I had been told by three different professionals that the large spanish oak armoire I had was not going to be able to be removed from our loft which we had enclosed with a bay window and changed to a spiral stair case. the guys had it up and over the rail and on the first floor in minutes, no damage to staircase or armoire. The pricing was fair and little time was wasted. All in all as pleasant an experience as a move can be.

I used Redline to move apartments. The crew was punctual, pleasant and professional. I would definitely use them again.

They were all so professional and helpful. It was not an easy move, Manhattan being a very tight & contested space- They knew exactly what they were doing. | |Thamas in particular is very smart and capable- managing a move like this takes intelligence, patience and determination- he has them all.

Redline was not interested in providing an estimate for a move from upstate New York to Long Island.

We were able to schedule the move a week in advance. The crew arrived a little early, which was a good thing since it was a big job. There was a lot to pack in the kitchen, and a few other items that we just hadn't had time to pack yet. Some guys moved all the furniture and boxes into their truck while others packed. Things got a little more complicated when we were unpacking at the new house due to a staircase with an awkward bend, but they found a way to get our furniture upstairs eventually. It was a long day but everything went smoothly and they made a stressful day much easier than it has been in the past. when we unpacked, nothing was damaged. They asked for a little more than another company, but we decided to go with Redline since their price including packing was lower and I'm glad we did as they did such a great job.

The move was completed in 4 1/2 hours. There were 4 guys moving including the foreman. Simon, Marco, Kenny and Dimitri were all professional and very pleasant gentlemen. They came in disassembled, protected and reassembled our furniture. Our possesions were treated very well. We will be recommending this company to any of our friends who need great movers

These guys are hands down the best! I was very nervous about moving as I have heard horror stories of movers breaking things and damaging items as well as your home, however TJ and his crew were very professional, friendly, and extremely fast! It was a stress free move and I would use them again and recommend them in a heart beat!

Red Line did an outstanding job. Shane, Kiernan, Simon, and their team were responsive and professional. They are a nice group of people, and it was a pleasure to work with them. They worked quickly yet carefully. I did shop for price, and they were about 10% more expensive than the competition. In my opinion it was worth every penny. I have moved several times in my life, and they minimized the stress. I recommend them highly. A+

Pre-move: I requested a request for estimate via their website, was quickly called back by Shane, we scheduled an on-site estimate. Kieran came and did an estimate, he was running late due to traffic and called us a few times to keep us posted (appreciated that!) Move date: TJ and crew were great. Nice team of guys, they worked fast. They covered all our furniture perfectly, boxes were moved out to truck quickly. Overall the experience was painless! All the guys we dealt with were friendly. I've dealt with a good amount of moving companies (for my father) and Red line was one of the most friendliest. They didn't try to sell us anything more or were not pushy or rude. Had a fair share of those types of companies when trying to get estimates. They were great with communication via email/phone as well. We choose a flat-rate move on Kieran's recommendation, we are glad we did, we also requested another stop in Brooklyn. We thought the cost was reasonable. We had 3 estimates, Red line was the most reasonable in the middle of the 3. The other 2 estimates were based by hour, another by weight. Would defiantly recommend them, hopefully we don't move for a good while :) Thanks Red line for a smooth move!
