Dell Computer Company

Dell Computer did a great job. They were able to specialize the computer with programs so that my son would be able to use it at college. They did everything that we wanted them to do and they were very friendly and helpful. I have not had one problem with them.

I purchased an antivirus program from them. I was supposed to receive a cd from them with the program. After waiting and waiting I finally called the company. They informed me that the information I needed was in a link included in an email that they had sent me. My frustration grew so much that by this time I wanted to nullify the purchase and end my association with Dell. They informed me that I would have to go ahead and honor the purchase because I had gone beyond my 21 day return time. Needless to say I wasn't happy about the situation. Then to add insult to injury everyone that I talked to at Dell couldn't seem to find a way for me to use this link that they had sent me in the first place. I am contacting the Texas attorney general's office to try to get some satisfaction.

The experience is fine. I have nothing to compare it to because I have never used a different kind of computer.

Dell Computer Co. was very difficult to deal with. The computer didn't arrive as scheduled and when I called I got routed to India and had a hard time understanding the person I talked to. I was told the computer was back ordered. We waited a few more weeks and called again to India and were told the order had been canceled. They did re-order it and took off $100. Again, it was back ordered so they took off another $100. We're still waiting. I'm not sure what the price will end up being.

This is the fourth computer I have gotten working through Dell. They do not just please me; they delight me. I think they run great specials and they even let me know when they are coming up so I can prepare to make a purchase. Their telephone operators are outstanding. I never imagined ordering a PC over the phone could be so easy and not complicated.

I WAS OVERWHELMED AND IMPRESSED WITH THEIR QUICK RESPONSE AND TO THEIR WILLINGNESS TO WORK WITHIN OUR SCHEDULE. THEY CAME WITHIN TWO DAYS OF OUR INITIAL CALL AND MY COMPUTER WORKS FINE NOW.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM AT ALL. THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM.

THEY CAME OUT SHORTLY AFTER MY FIRST CALL BUT THEY HAD BROUGHT THE WRONG PART FOR THE COMPUTER. THEY RETURNED VERY SHORTLY WITH THE CORRECT PART. THEY WERE PROFESSIONALLY ADEPT AT WHAT THEY DID.
