Tim is a busy guy so scheduling took a bit longer but work was great and met our deadline to get completed. This was the final piece of a total kitchen renovation.

The doctor is fantastic. However, the staff here is really, really bad. Over the past few years, the problems with this bunch have gotten worse. But what happened the last time really scared the bejeezus out of me. I was going on a cruise, when the doctor decided to try me on new meds. He told me that if there was a problem with the meds, call him before my cruise to let him know. He told me that I should tell the staff it was an emergency if he was not available. Well, there was a problem with the meds, and I called the aloof staff. I was told that he was too busy to take my call, and that his nurse would get back to me right away. That was seven months ago. I'm still waiting for the call. This staff is highly unprofessional, lazy, and rude. Very often messages have not gotten back to my doctor.

I have been a patient of MKMG for close to 20 years. Three years ago I decided to move all of my medical care to their practice for the sake of having an internist who was able to be my gatekeeper for my many and varied medical problems. General Internist - Dana Murphy - zero empathy, quick to send you to ER, no faith that patient knows own body, she knows better. Absolutely no bedside manner at all. Entirely failed at managing my need for a Gatekeeper which I was very clear on my needs when I first engaged her. You are a cattle call # in the MKMG or CareMount Medical whatever you want to call them. You are a # not a person. If she would have done her job at being my internist I could have avoided many medical procedures that I did not need. At no point during a horrendous 9 month period in my health did she once reach out to me to make sure I was receiving the care I needed. When I reached out for assistance, I never once received a call from Dr. Murphy, only from her nurse sometimes many days later, or not at all. Typially I was referred to another physician or to the ER. Dr. Chinitz - GI - Mr. Funny Man (not). Saw him for a follow up from bowel resection reoccurring problems. Was told that I could expect to only be 60% better ever and that I should make sure I had a good therapist because I was going to need one. When I complained that I was in pain after his exam, he told me that since he had met me he had a pain in his side too. Dr. Wishner - Probably an excellent surgeon and one I entrusted my body too twice. What I got back was a surgeon who instead of listening to his patient that something was wrong after the bowel resection my back doctor found my hernia and referred me back to Dr. Wishner. After my hernia repair was completed and I had severe internal pain I was told by Dr. Wishner that it was my back and he didn't know what to do with me. He could send me for physical theraphy. There is one physician in that group that I would go back to and that is Dr. Stacy Spivack-Gross. However, I have decided to leave the MKMG in its entireity. I refuse to be a # and not heard by my doctors. I no longer recommend them. Radiology Department made a mistake on my CT Scan. My lungs have nodules on them that have been followed for many years. I have an oncologist review any scans that catch my lungs as my mother passed away from lung cancer. One of my abdominal scans came back with some odd language about one of my lungs. Not one physician in the MKMG even got back to me with the results of that scan so I requested a copy and upon review saw the bizarre words utilized. I faxed to the oncologist who immediately called me back to let me know that the words do not exist in the medical field. It was a mistake, he even went so far as to call the MKMG radiology Department to advise them of their mistaken. Not one doctor, even the ordering surgeon ever got back to me or the oncologist to advise the mistake was rectified. After being told I should get a good therapist by Dr. Chinitz because of the pain I have experienced after my bowel resection surgery would never go away because I had fibromyalgia and RSD, I should expect to stay this way indefinitely. If this was the case and since MKMG has my entire medical history for many many years, not one person even my "Gatekeeper" internist ever told me that I should not have surgery because I could potentially be in pain for life because of it.

This concerns the Mahopac offices of MKMG. My doctor is fantastic. However, the staff here is really, really bad. Over the past few years, the problems with this bunch have gotten worse. But what happened the last time really scared the bejeezus out of me. I was going on a cruise, when the doctor decided to try me on new meds. Well, there was a problem with the meds, and I called the aloof staff. I was told that he was too busy to take my call, and that his nurse would get back to me right away. I did inform them that this was an emergency. That was seven months ago. I'm still waiting for the call. This staff is highly unprofessional, lazy, and rude. Very often messages have not gotten back to my doctor. Prescriptions they were supposed to call in, never were, or were filled with the incorrect dose. As another reviewer stated, this is an assembly line outfit where you are merely an insurance claim. I was thankfully able to get a competent doctor who is NOT in the MKMG network. Slowly, I have been replacing MKMG "specialists" with other doctors. Unfortunately, it's difficult to avoid them, as they have spread all across the area in which I reside. It's a medical monopoly.

Dr. Chinitz is freindly but won't win any prizes for Dr. Congeniality. He's down to business and will tell you what he thinks whether you like it or not.
In the procedure room he's superb. A knowledgeable doctor with great skill. After the procedures he came by to give his feedback and was receptive to questions and compassionate.
A good doctor!
The Mount Kisco Medical Group, on the other hand, needs a total revamping of their administration, scheduling, billing, and communication procedures.

Dr. Karas met me, heard my symptoms, and did some physical manipulation of my arm and shoulder. He then sent me for X-Rays and an MRI. A return visit was scheduled to discuss the results.
Dr. Karas explained what the films showed. He understood that I was planning a vacation that would involve swimming and bicycling and that I did not want surgery. He said it was fine to try physical therapy to see if that might do the trick. When pressed, he gave me a 60% chance of being able to avoid surgery. He also gave me a cortisone shot, which was very helpful.
The physical therapy strengthened my shoulder and greatly increased my mobility, but the vacation was a disaster. As soon as I got home, I called to schedule surgery. Due to a cancellation, I was able to get in quickly.
I felt I was prepared for the surgery in terms of understanding what he would do, and he was upfront about the recovery timeline. I wish I had had a clearer understanding of how much pain I would experience post-surgery, as well as better preparation for sleeping (or not, as the case was)-- I could have gotten a pillow etc. beforehand instead of trying to do it in a sling afterward.
I appreciated that every time I saw him, he spent all the time I needed, answered questions, and was generally a nice guy. He also encouraged me to call with *any* questions.
I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Was great. Eager to answer questions. You need to ask more questions than you realize if you have an active lifestyle. Like I said Dr. Is very accommodating. Know what 10 lbs feels like before surgery. When items are put in shopping bag at supermarket it is hard to determine weight. Wait two and a half months before resuming normal activity.Though the Dr. AS not misleading about six weeks, you will fell that you can do more than you should to soon. Felt relief from issues immediately following procedure as Dr. Said. Look at the calendar nd be vigilant with Dr's orders and recommendations. Good luck!

Dr. Sophia Zeb is my primary care physician. She is perfect all around. She listens, she's thorough and she's everything you could ask for in a primary physician. I actually enjoy going to the doctors, because I know there won't be a wait, because she is prompt and I know she will treat me with respect and good care.

Frequently requires 2-3 attempts to reach a "human" to leave a message for your Dr. or, schedule an appointment. The Patient Portal is 20th Century technology not 21st - you cannot leave a message for your Dr. or, schedule an appointment. In addition, Lab results are not posted nor are office visit particulars. This is a humongous assembly line operation where you are treated as an insurance claim not an individual. I have dealt with satellite offices of MKMG and services/patients were better served than at their "Main Campus" as they call it.
Update - On 3/4 it took multiple phone calls to reach a "human" who could schedule an appointment with a Dr. in the Gastroenterology Dept. Definitely not quality service. MKMG get some of your {MA} staff on board. To the MA 's I did deal with - Kudos!
Update 8/5/2015 - Took 2 attempts to get a script renewed via the patient portal (which reflects 20th century technology). Received a bill today for some $300 for a visit I never had!! I know they have turned their billing operations to a new firm but it was MKMG that falsely billed me. I am profoundly disappointed in the performance of MKMG and the Dept noted above.

They have various specialties, general practitioners, and specialists of various types. It's a group of doctors. They're fine. There was no problem, they saw me, I was reassured that it probably wasn't a problem. They did all the necessary tests and it was fine. Dr. Bromburg was a friendly fellow, and he was very knowledgeable. When I talked to him about the stuff I was concerned about, he was very aware of the latest research. The office environment is nice. They have comfortable waiting areas, that are warm. There's plenty of seating. They're efficient about getting you in if you have an appointment. They'll call you at the appropriate time. The staff has never given me a hard time, some are very nice, others are more clinical, but no one is rude. The work staff is fine, and the doctors that I've had to deal with have all been nice. They tend to make you knot worry too much. Communication is good. They're clear.

She was very thorough. She took time to explain things and shared her personal experience with it. She work to find a natural alternative form because she knew that I did not believe in Western medicines. She gave me some advise and I had my blood work rechecked. It turned out that I actually didn't have the disorder and she said that she was going to pursue forward to find out what it is causing the issues. The staff was great.

Dr. Krieger is incredibly thorough. She's been my physician for over 15 years. She prepares for office visits and always remembers the recent medical history. Each visit centers around clear communication and she is very forthright when necessary. I joke with my family that she cares more about my health than I do, but she has follows up on minor problems effectively and makes sure that I follow up. When I have had a serious problem, she was immediately available and saw to it that I had the care that I needed.
She is a very popular physician in the group, and if you are looking for a primary care provider and she has availability, I recommend her absolutely.
