Description of Work: We couldn't be more pleased. They repaired two chimneys and you can't tell where the work was done. The price was reasonable, they came when they said they would, and the workers were neat and polite. We would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: This company moved and relaid several shifted stones in our foundation and tuck pointed the entire foundation of our 90 year old home. Excellent job!! This was our second time using Magic Stone and once again we were very impressed with their work and professionalism.

Description of Work: It took twice as long as the original estimate and cost $4000 more. Dirt from the driveway fell in to the basement, this could have been prevented by shoring it up and blocking it with plywood. | |I would have had them waterproof the wall while it was being installed if they would have explained the option to me. | |Workers left a hold in my basement floor.

We are sorry to hear that you feel this way. Unfortunately when basement walls are not rebuilt during the start of their collapse, the task becomes much more dangerous and difficult as it was in this case. Timeliness of projects are estimated unfortunately when more work is needed it takes more time. The driveway in-between the two homes were so separated that it created large voids in-between the clay. Shoring with plywood simply would not have worked because while laying a new fresh wall there would have been no where for support; as this would have toppled over the new wall. Furthermore as far as water proofing the wall there is no safe way to place a worker in the hole without the possibility of being severely injured if the rest of the clay would have finished collapsing (without excavating the entire driveway). Please do contact the office so that I may be of further assistance in explaining any concerns or issues you may have. The added costs are due to the timely manor of not having the wall rebuilt quite some time ago. As repairs are neglected unfortunately the scope of the work is intensified as explained that additional charges may apply during your contract signing appointment. Please advise if you meant "hold" or "hole" in your basement floor as there may of been an oversight and it would be our pleasure to address and correct this issue. Description of Work: Service was performed satisfactory. 1st chimney was demolished to specs, 2nd chimney was repaired as requested. Work crew showed up a week early due to forecasted weather. Would have liked to have been informed the night before so planning of other non-chimney related work could have been coordinated. Overall, I am satisfied.

Description of Work: Refinished concrete porch steps and cellar front wall of house that was exposed outside. Restored wall inside of garage. Also, rebuilt chimney. They did a very nice job, very nice, professional here at the time scheduled. I would not hesitate to have them again. Very informative

Description of Work: Provided estimate first day I called. Provided estimate on site before they left (no promises to get back to me). Able to schedule within 1 week. Came on time. Did work and left in 4 hours (which is what they estimated). Cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them.

Description of Work: I received an estimate from Magic Stone but I haven't scheduled work yet. They were super professional and knowledgeable.
