Bloomingdale's Home Cleaning

These people are impossible to deal with. They said they weren't sure if they could clean the part of the rug that was stained and they couldn't guarantee that my rug wouldn't run. (It's been cleaned before. Didn't run at all.) The price they quoted was pretty high and didn't include blocking the rug. Blocking doubled price to over $800. On top of that, after it's cleaned, they charge you to lay the rug back down. I decided not to have them clean the rug. There were too many issues and they gave me no confidence in their ability to do a good job. They said they would charge $87 for not cleaning the rug. They gave me a 5 hour window to bring the rug back. I stayed home and waited for them. They left the rug with the doorman. When I called to ask why I had to wait 4 hours if they weren't going to lay the rug, they said they charge an additional $32.50 to lay the rug. The only good thing about this company are the really nice, professional guys who deliver the rugs. (I paid the $32.50.) My advice - go elsewhere.

The price is a little too high but they did a good job.

I called after almost two weeks to hear they hadn't touched it, that it was in the Restoration dept. being examined.  After waiting for another few days to speak with that person, he gave me an estimate of what he thought should be done.  I couldn't believe it - was this the same rug I had sent in for cleaning?  I approved the serging repair and waited another ten days to get the rug, which I sent back after seeing just the edge I thought he had repaired, which was a mess.  When I spoke to him he said he would look at it again.  I'm now missing my living room rug over three weeks.  I had a short vacation and they delivered it (after a mixup of dates of course), now six weeks after they originally picked it up and I now see my gorgeous rug with the ivory background stained with orange patches!  It's a nightmare!  They claim it was cleaned thoroughly and that's the residue!??  I'm going to find out why Bloomingdales has their name attached to this shoddy service in the first place and will pursue legal action.

It was fabulous. The service was great. Ones of the rugs needed a lot of restoration and their expert called me through it. He sent me an evaluation with photos marked up as to what needed to be done. The price for it was quite reasonable. They delivered them on time. There was one rug that was done before the other one and I asked them to hold them both and deliver it the same time and they were quite agreeable. They give you a time frame for pick up and a time frame for delivery that is reasonable.

The booking of this service, and the actual shampooing of our bedroom carpet were both done professionally.  We would hire them again without question.

They are excellent! They were neat, on time, and were able to get some really bad stains out of the carpet.

They did a fine job. After obtaining price quotes from other companies, Bloomingdales came down significantly on their initial price offer so as to get our business. They were able to do the job without a lot of lead time. They sent two men to do an estimate and then do the cleaning right away. They were on time, very courteous, efficient and friendly. They were able to fininsh the job in a few hours, although it took almost overnight before everything was dry again. They left everything fresh, clean and bright. We very much appreciated their work.

Came the same day I called them.  Set up, did the job, cleaned up in a couple of hours.  There were stains I thought they'd never get out but they did.

I had a bit of trouble scheduling the appointment because the December snowstorm intervened. Once I was able to reschedule, the workman were prompt, courteous and efficient.

Their price was quite expensive although I am not sure of the exact amount. Everything was expensive in this area. My experience with them was fine. Their service was good and fine. They were very good. Their responsiveness was very good.

They were very reasonable priced and did a good job. They showed up on time and did what they were suppose to do.

They told me one price on the phone and then a completely different price when they showed up. When I told them I wasn't going to use the services, the guy started bargaining with me. This was not at all professional. I (regrettably) ended up having them clean the sofa and, while it looks much better, it still smells. Overall, not worth it.

It went very well. I have used them twice before and they are very easy to work with, punctual, and don't require supervision.

They were very pleasant and efficient on the phone. They were able to make an appointment for a couple of days after I called. They gave me a rough estimate of what it would cost. The day of the appointment, someone called to tell me the time frame of when they would be coming. They came within that time-frame and performed quickly, efficiently and politely. They told me what it would cost before they cleaned my chairs so I would not be surprised. I was very happy with their work.

The man I spoke to on the phone to make my appointment was very professional, polite and conscientious about quoting a general price to me. He was detail oriented. However, unlike what he told me, no one called to follow up and no one emailed me to let me know what my appointment time would be. I had to call the day of the service performed to find out what the time window would be. And then, the cleaners didn't show up during that time period. I had to call again to check to see if they were coming at all. The lady I spoke to on the phone was nice and said they would arrive within 5 minutes, which they did. After that somewhat shaky start, the guys who arrived were very quick, professional and courteous. It was expensive, but the rugs and sofa looked great after they were done. I would use them again, although I would definitely let them know I want them to come within the time frame they quoted me on.

They arrived promptly - did the work well. They were professional throughout - we would use them again.

Bloomingdale's did such a great job for me. They didn't even think they could remove everything from my chase but they did. They are just great and do fabulous work too.

They were efficient ,excellent work and very pricey. Although I have no way of comparing. All the bloomingdale places on your list are the same, all part of Long Island cleaning co. A slight sense of "bait and switch" first estimate for steam cleaning, but when here said it should be dry cleaning, much more expensive

I THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL WITH THEIR WORK. THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM. I ALSO THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE.

I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR YEARS. I AM A DOCTOR, SO I AM ONLY AVAILABLE AT CERTAIN TIMES, AND THEY WERE VERY GOOD AT ARRIVING WHEN IT WAS CONVENIENT FOR ME.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ACCOMMODATING. THEY HAD IT FINISHED IN A VERY SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. THEY WERE VERY NEAT AND CLEAN. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE ELSE.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD. THIS COMPANY WAS VERY RELIABLE. THEY WERE ALSO REALLY POLITE AND FRIENDLY TO ME. THEY REMOVED ALL OF THE STAINS AND I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH WHAT THEY DID FOR ME.

THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ALWAYS ON TIME. THEY ARE VERY NEAT AND CLEAN. WHEN THEY MOVE THE FURNITURE THEY PUT EVERYTHING BACK. THEY GET THE WORK DONE IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE THERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE. THEY KEPT ALL THEIR PROMISES. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

THEY ARE A VERY GOOD COMPANY. IT IS GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY. THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE, AND THEY ARE ALSO VERY TRUSTWORTHY. THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF CLEANING THE CARPET AND GETTING THE STAINS OUT.
