I would hire them again in a flash. They were so professional from beginning to end and I absolutely love my paint job. They were fast and efficient, finishing my bathroom and living room/kitchen in one day!!! After our first consultation, I knew i was going to hire them right away. John asked a lot of questions about my desires for my space and went above and beyond what I asked for. I couldnâ t be more happy to recommend them to all of my friends. If I ever need a paint job again, heâ s my guy for sure!

It was overall a very good experience working with Jhon. The itemized estimate was very detailed and Jhon patiently answered all my questions. Jhon and his team skim coated and painted our entire apartment, including numerous french windows that take a lot of care. He also repaired multiple closets which involved wall paper removal, removal of old shelves, boards, and sealing up all cracks. Jhon has an eye for detail and our old co-op looks brand new. Jhon was easy to work with and offers a clear and itemized quote for all the work he will do, and offers helpful advisement regarding material choices, paint colors, and work to be done. We feel very grateful to have found Paladin Painting and highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Paladin Paining. I asked them to paint a room that had not been painted in 32 years. It was filled with cracks and peeling plaster and paint. Also, the roof had leaked and the ceiling of this top floor apartment was damaged. There were also heavy, large pieces of furniture. Paladin came on time every day. They worked hard 8-9 hours straight. They moved the heavy furniture even though I said it would be OK to paint around these pieces. They totally transformed this room. They protected and returned all my furniture and totally cleaned up when they were done. I am stunned by the professionalism of this company. I could not ask for more. And it does not hurt that Jhonatan Lines, the owner of this business is a pleasure to deal with. He is super considerate and does everything in his power to make the work go well. He honored all my requests and was kind and considerate.They're THE BEST! I'll hire them again in a NY heartbeat!

Jhon and his team skim coated, removed and replaced trim, and painted our living room (and ceiling). He was extremely communicative and did a great job. Will absolutely hire again. A great NYC find.

John and his team renovated an entire 1 bedroom apartment (walls and ceilings) for me with sheetrock in damaged areas, skim coating, and painting in two weeks. I liked the detailed qoute of materials and coats used in the project, and John also sent photos of the progress regularly when I couldn?t be at the property. John has a patient demeanor, and I will work with him on future projects.

I have to 2nd the most recent review here, I also changed paint colors twice, the second time from out of town. Jhonatan was able to navigate a very picky clinic when I was in town and away. He is also totally dedicated to making sure you are pleased with your project --and will come over as many times as necessary even after they have cleared out to make sure that any little spills or mess ups are corrected. His team also cleaned up old brass work on our doors and it looks amazing! Jhonatan is kind and patient, and a consummate professional.

John and his team did a great job, but what I liked the most is that John is committed to make his clients happy. I changed the colors two times and he never lost his patience or was annoyed. John is also very responsive; he takes care of the paperwork within hours, which made my life a lot easier. My past experience with contractors has been horrible, so dealing with someone who listens to what you want is a breath of fresh air.

I highly recommend Paladin painting, The project they took on was a disaster , John came and spoke to me and explain in detail what he was going to accomplish. John and his team worked 7 days a week until the project was complete. I wish I had pictures showing the before and after and the transformation that took place. John was a true professional and sent me pictures every night of the progress they made. His team was very professional and did a great job. Jhon and his team (Adrian and Francisco) did an excellent job, and Jhon gave me some good suggestions before we even started. The team was meticulous about protecting my appliances and wood floors, as well as clean up afterwards. There wasn't much for me to do afterwards other than decide what I wanted my newly painted rooms to look like, furniture-wise. They even moved a giant bookcase back and forth between the living room (during the day) and the foyer (in the evening) so it didn't block my tv! The estimate was a little higher than others I'd gotten, but I got the feeling that it was because he was paying his workers a decent wage. I'd recommend them, and use them again.

The work done by Jhon and his crew was excellent. They repaired structo-lite walls, plastered, removed old wallpaper, skim coated walls and painted. Work was done in 6 apartments in a very timely manner and I needed to add other work on as the project commenced. Jhon was very accommodating. His estimates were detailed and he made sure I was completely aware of each phase of the project. Before I moved into a new apartment, I looked for someone to paint a ceiling, a bunch of closets, and one room. I didn't have much time - not only was Jhon the only painter to respond, he squeezed me into his schedule so the work could be done before I moved. In addition to his responsiveness, I was really impressed by the quality of his work. He very carefully touched up and smoothed plaster before painting. He cared about the quality of the finished work and it showed. I will definitely hire him again and I fully recommend him.

I hired Jhon to paint 2 bedrooms, closets, and hallway. He was very responsive, told me exactly what needed to be done. Because the house is very old, he said that there were structural issues and more than painting that was needed. I compared his price with another company and felt more comfortable with him, and liked the price-point he gave me. He is very up-front, taking you through the process from start to finish. He only expects full payment when you are 100% satisfied with the work. I have already hired him to do another project.

I hired John to paint an apartment in Manhattan sometime in March or April of this year. I do not live anywhere near nyc, so the entire relationship was to be based upon trusting a stranger from a distance, unsupervised, and with only reading reviews. It was tough to do. The price he gave was not the lowest though he was far from the highest. The building management where the apartment is located is incredibly difficult to obtain permissions from and due to COVID kept changing the process. In the end Jhon tolerated months of waiting for a acceptable start date from the building and absurd paperwork. But what was truly exceptional was that jhon responds to emails and text messages very quicklyâ so you never lose faith that he will do a great job. In the end the apartment looks fantastic. I am responsible for overseeing the painting of more than a thousand apartments a year in my job as a property manager so I know when I see great work and a great contractor.
